SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!
I ordered a birthday cake (Mango madness) + a topper for my friend. I paid $109.84 American dollars for this order. I got a confirmation number MMG7097. On the day of delivery, I noticed that the picture of the cake i ordered was no longer on their website. I got curious and tried reaching out to them to no avail. A completely different cake was delivered at 5:20pm! No topper. I called the numbers that reached out to my friend for delivery, no response. Chatted on WhatsApp on another number that called and no response up till today. I also did send them an email and got no response. I think I have the right to conclude that they did what they did intentionally. Got me some cheap cake and disappeared. See picture attached. I am so disappointed, but I leave them to God.

The business model seems to be to have nice looking cakes pictured at their site and when some poor fool orders one, to go around looking for a cheap replacement...like a 20 dollar one instead of the $80 or 100 (in my case)
But it gets worse. They even get by with ZERO delivery!!
I ordered a New York Cherry Cheesecake for my son's birthday. I paid $30 extra for early delivery by 11am latest. The cake arrived at around 4:30pm. The delivery person was leaving it at the door but I opened the door just in time to stop her. (unfortunately, she had already taken a pic of the cake as proof of delivery). I told her my son would never go for the chocolate cake she had placed at my door. They had never asked me if the cheesecake could be replaced. The girl said sorry and that she would get a replacement cheesecake. After an hour I received the pic of the same chocolate cake at my door as proof of delivery, along with a receipt for over $100. And no cake...NOT EVEN THE CHEAP CHOCOLATE CAKE.
I begged them to send the delivery girl back or to at least call me. They did neither (the girl had said "not allowed to give the number for customer service" and the site had no number)
Normally, I ignore bad service and if I review, I give positive ones, but these people are next level scam artists. Unfortunately, they do not have a google review page because they do not have a location (to which google reviews are tied apparently). This means people will not learn about the scams until after they have been scammed since most do not first check trustpilot. If you do, pls stay far far away

This company is an absolute scam. Used this to order a cake for my husband's birthday. Not only did they deliver the cake towards the end of day, what they delivered was at best be described as a off the shelf cake from some cheap place with none of the customization I paid for. The personalized card, additions all for which they charged me, none of it was added, just a plain cake from a cheap store and they charged me $100+ for this garbage. Totally disappointed and ruined the surprise I planned. NEVER using this joke of a site again.

Stay away from these scammers. This is the most horrible gift company in Canada. Ordered a cake from thier online catalog for $114 and they picked up a $25 cake from Walmart and delivered it.

One of the worse service I received, I sent a gift to Edmonton by including wrapping and a note for the receiver. But they have kept the gift item without wrapping or the card with the note.
I replied to sales email address few days ago. up until now no one replied. please do not use their services. Worse customer experience I had so far in my life

Worst service I ever had on my birthday. They are fake their website products are just to make customers fool while placing orders. You choose Royal high-quality cakes and you get delivered the cheapest cakes from Walmart.
Delivery timing was worst I received a simple cake at 7.30 pm and the actual delivery time was between 1-4 pm. The cake was delivered through an Instacart person. And someone who tried to confirm through text whether I revived the cake or not was f… rude When we tried to call they did t bother to answer the call or text msgs.

They didn't have the cake we purchased and so just had a Dairy Queen cake delivered, with no followup and a rude response when I asked about it.

Complete utter scam. Said they delievered, but did not. No ways of communication. Do not answer emails. Chat never works. Nobody answers. This is complete scam

They will send you a different item from what you ordered! A very cheap one! And they don’t care about customer as long as they delivered it then their job is done. This is a complete waste of money and time!

I had a very nice experience with this company. I got the delivery on time and cake was exactly what I ordered. Looking forward to do business in future.

Absolute scam of a company. They totally delivered the wrong items and are not responsive at all. Luckily I paid with my credit card so I will filing a dispute with proof today.

Firstly, doesn't deliver what you order. They deliver a different product. We order a cake for $80, they deliver a different cake that was labeled $29.90.
Secondly, their PHONE : 587-905-0244 (Limited) doesn't work.
Thirdly, there is no response with their chatbot.

This company is worst company. They are overly price with very bad service. My husband wanted to surprise me with cake, they delivered cake and left it at front door, I by chance open door after 2 hours and my cake was already eaten by some skunk. Then they delivered really old flowers and they charge so much . It’s okay to charge if you can give good service and good product. Please don’t use this website to order.

Awful company that has no concept of gift giving. Ordered a cake to be delivered for a birthday. They just left the cake at the reception, without calling the recipient and to make things even worse, they left the receipt with it…for a gift! Now thanks to the receipt, I also know that I paid make my gift 4 times the amount of the cake’s actual price and to top it off they charged me $20 extra for delivery. Pathetic and never again. Stay away from them.

Make My Gift Canada is the most disgusting company to order from although they claim to be very professional and customer oriented company. i am based in India and on June2 I ordered online two gifts to be delivered on a Toronto address on June 5,2023 and made online payment to the company. My order was immediately acknowledged by the company with the order number #MMG5928 and i was assured through an email by the company that the items ordered would be delivered on the Scheduled date and time. But unfortunately on the date of delivery I received a mail from the company that my order has been canceled. This is ridiculous. They are so unprofessional that even after 2 days have passed since the scheduled date of delivery there is neither any intimation about the reason of Cancelation or any information on refund of my money. My several mails to their contact company have not been replied so far. WORST SHOPPING SIGHT EVER.

I ordered the gift items for my niece and what was delivered were totally different than my order.

I don't think Teddy Bear, Ferrero Rocher, or Lindt chocolate is difficult to get or not stocked.

If it wasn't available, why did they have that item on their store to purchase.

The alternative items delivered were cheap brands, including a sardine fish tin.
Who includes Sardine fish in a birthday gift you send to someone?

It was so embarrassing to see such gift delivery made of cheap items to make more profit.

The ordered value was $112, and what was delivered was not even $25 value.

I wish I had seen the reviews earlier. They do not have place to post reviews on their website and what is posted there is static and from them.

Shame.
