If possible I would give 0 star. They cheat with customers. They don’t give enough information when you buy from them. I bought gold bar from them they said they will do bank transfer but when I went to sell they denied. Even when other stores give full value of 24ct gold bar they deducted 4./. For jwellry also they charged a lot making charges. Why we buy gold if we need money so we can sell it but they don’t give money. Stop buying from them.

Hi Do not trust the sales man in Hamdan and be careful they always changing the word . I booked a gold for pre order with that day rate was low ,then when I went to collect and they were cheating me . So be careful while pre book . Better experience with Joyalukkas: Antonisamy

I had a great experience from the shop.
The new store had an inviting feel to it not to mention a whole varieties of gold jewelries to choose from.
Ate Louise at the Malabar Gold and Diamond store in UW Mall, Al Mankhool took the time to explain my inquiry and made the entire process enjoyable and stress free.
Definitely a 5 star experience..

Please improve the hospitality in Ipoh branch. We were waiting infront of the counter but they didn't attend us or even have the courtesy to ask us what we want. At least have the manners to ask what we want or if you are shortage of people please ask customers to wait and inform customers that you will attend them shortly. Please give some respect to your customers.

My Very Bad Experience with Malabar Gold & Diamonds – Not Recommended to buy and sell

I am writing to share my very disappointing experience with Malabar Gold & Diamonds, specifically regarding a purchase and later interaction at their Palakkad branch.

I had purchased a gold and diamond pendant set from Malabar Gold & Diamonds. At the time of purchase, the staff clearly assured me that they would buy back the items at the current gold and diamond rate within the year, provided I had the bill and the product in good condition.

However, when I recently returned to the same branch with the original bill and product, they refused to honor that commitment. They did not offer the rate they had promised and were unwilling to take the product back as initially agreed. What made matters worse was the rude and unprofessional behavior of the front desk manager at the Palakkad branch. He showed no respect or value for the customer, which was extremely disappointing.

I want to clarify that I do not have any personal grudge, but I feel it's important to share my experience so others can make informed decisions. When you go to purchase, the staff is full of promises. But when you return to sell or exchange, their attitude changes completely. This feels like a dishonest practice and reflects poorly on the brand's integrity.

I have all the necessary proof, including the bill, photographs of the product, and the Malabar card provided at the time of purchase. If anyone wants more details, I am willing to share them.

To Malabar Gold & Diamonds top management: Please look into this matter seriously. Cheating customers may bring short-term gains, but it will not sustain your business in the long run. Respect and value for customers should always come first.

Based on my experience, I do not recommend purchasing gold or diamonds from Malabar Gold & Diamonds.

This showroom provides very stylish and unique designs....but frankly speaking hospitality is too bad....they don't know how to treat customers they didn't even offer water to us...other showrooms are far better than this... frankly frustrated 🥴

Complaint against Golden Glow Purchase Plan -Application id 10GG000057507

This is the first intimation of complaint against my Golden Glow purchase plan - 10GG000057507 at your Malabar gold pvt LTD Store which is located at G51 52 Sector 18 Noida.

I had booked & started this plan dated 15/4/2024 and completed dated 11th march 2025.
At the time of store visit,they didn't have Gold ring options for male. They have very limited options. I am very surprised, how can possible for such a big Malabar outlet/chain?

After that, he suggested,they can make as per your size but they require 30 days time more. So I allowed them and chosen on ring for size upgrade .

When I came back after 40 days with done many follow ups, he showing same alter ring with finish was so bad and they agreed. There fore again i suffering and think about the malbar quality and customer service. After so many arguments..he told me that again he will made for me but...3 month over now. There is no reply .

I had called many times for following my investment. But there is no appropriate response. He just delaying again n again

I talked manager along with executive, but there is no information.

Now tell me who is responsible for this kind of cheating.
My first experience was very bad in Malabar for this investment plan. I feel that I am cheated by Your company.
I am a regular user of Malabar and enough amount on my wedding jewellery as well as many more but this time i decided that this will be the last time with you .
This kind of cheating, I will not tolerate and I will take appropriate action by our legal team.

Malabar People only want to sell their own policy. Initially the sell policy & later they refuse to accept his issue, Had to face lot of chaos & customer care also does not support. All the store are just for scamming middle class people. I recommend to not visit any of their store or online platform to purchase that that kind of investment plan.

I'm writing this review after a deeply disappointing and humiliating experience at the Malabar Gold Sarjapur Road branch on 6th June 2025.
We are a loyal Malabar customer family. In 2022, we took our first 11-month plan at Eluru, Andhra Pradesh. After completing that plan and buying a product, we started another plan there. When it matured, we had moved to Bangalore, so we went to the HSR Layout branch. The HSR team was exceptional — they coordinated smoothly with the Eluru branch, completed the transaction politely, and assisted us from start to finish. It was because of their professionalism and respect that we decided to start our next 11-month plan at HSR.
This month, that plan matured. Since Sarjapur Malabar is now closer to us, we — my husband, kids, and I — went there to purchase jewellery worth 5x the value of the plan. But what we experienced was rude indifference and a clear lack of customer value.
The salesperson barely showed interest. He casually said, “These are the designs here. If you want more, go to HSR.” Even when we liked a design and asked for the price and payment method, he just said, “Do online.” When we asked how, he simply told us to call HSR Malabar — no effort to help, no courtesy, no professionalism. It became obvious that since the sale wouldn't benefit their branch, they didn’t care.
To make it worse, just two weeks ago, we had visited the same Sarjapur branch with friends to buy 1g gold, and they at least offered water. But now, even though we came as a family and planned a much bigger purchase, we were not offered anything — not even water, while other customers who arrived later were offered coffee.
The disrespect wasn't just towards me — it was to our whole family. It was clear humiliation just because the purchase wasn't directly for their branch.
We walked out of the Sarjapur branch immediately and drove straight to HSR Layout. I had planned to start a new 11-month plan at Sarjapur, but after this experience, I’ve dropped that idea completely. I will continue with HSR Malabar only, no matter how far it is.
This branch does not reflect the values of the Malabar brand. It only cares about branch-level business, not customer loyalty or brand reputation. Very disappointed.

We had a fantastic experience today from the jewellery
assistant Priti at the Malabar Gold and Diamond store in Southall. Priti took the time to understand what exactly we were looking for and made the entire process enjoyable and stress free.

Malabar gold in somajiguda hyderabad is seriously a worst useless place to buy jewellery... the stones are not at all studded.. I bought a ring with red stones ...on first day itself stones got removed... pathetic old model designs.... too much of making
charges.... they say precious stones...but add onyx stones... NOT A CORRECT PLACE TO BUY GOLD.

Always good to make inquiries before visiting the shop. Was attended to immediately by Ms. Mizza who was helpful and knowledgeable. The transaction was smooth assisted by her fellow sales exec and we parted w. a gift being first time customers! Will introduce to family n friends!

I believed in malabar brand n continuously from past 15 years, but recently I had very bad experience I felt cheated by this store, last week I want to exchanged my old jewellery they quoted very low price, somehow I took same jewellery to other branded store there I found out that malabar is cheating by saying our old jewellery is 16 r 18 carat n paying 20000 less for every ornament in exchange , I tried this 2to 3 times same with all jewellery, they just say 18 carat n cheat, so while exchange of old jewellery try to visit 3to4 stores before taking decision.
