Malabar People does not know their own policy. Initially the sell defective product & later they refuse to accept their own product. Had to face lot of chaos & customer care also does not support. All the store are just for scamming middle class people. I recommend to not visit any of their store or online platform instead you better visit your local gold & Jewellry store.

Disappointing Experience with Overpriced making charges of Jewellery

I bought a Turkish jewelry bracelet for $2200, paying an additional $600 in making charges. While I expected the quality to match the price, it didn’t live up to my expectations. After the bracelet had issues, they repaired it, but the problem was not fixed. When I returned to the store, they offered to exchange it for the current price of gold but refused to refund the making charges. I was told I could select a new bracelet, but they would charge another 24%(around $1080 😂😂in total $600(previous making charges)+1080new one)=$1680) in making charges for the replacement.

This is incredibly frustrating. You’re charging 50% to 60% extra for a product that doesn’t match its price tag in terms of quality. The quality of the product does not reflect the money you’re charging on sake of making charges , especially for something marketed as a high-end design. Extremely disappointed with the service and the lack of transparency.

I recently visited your Yelahanka branch in Bangalore and was impressed with the selection of pendants, which led me to purchase one. However, I was disappointed by the behavior of the staff. They appeared unfamiliar with customer service, giving off an impression that they were either new to the store or unsure of how to properly engage with customers. This has been the most negative experience I’ve had in my 20 years of shopping.

Horrible experience.Staff is just not upto the mark.if you give your product for repair you will have to come a minimum of 3 times and then finally you will get the product.
Never buy from Camac st showrroom.

I brought diamond bangle from malabar(makka branch) and now when i go to malabar(london branch) to exchange it and buy another one. he don’t gave the value of bangle and saying that we don’t have access to our Saudi branch

Before pendent making was so beautiful finishing, This month I ordered pendent finishing is worse.
Secondly more making charges when compare to other shops.

significant price variance I encountered with a recently purchased item valued at AED 10,000 which is being offered for buyback at only AED 6,300. Additionally despite of providing of all bills and cards, the requirement to present the original buyer poses a challenge for me.

Please don't buy any product from Malabar.

Malabar shop organised a programme called starlet yesterday that is on(23-11-2024), its a drawing competition , first of all dey didn't inform us about the topic jewllery ,kids started drawing on their own and suddenly in the middle they are telling about the topic, no proper arrangement or seating , no guidance at all. About refreshments and food, some of dem getting it and some of dem not ,their staffs are standing very inattentive and not helpful at all , we are totally disappointed actually when they announced the prize winners for drawing competition, its totally biased and giving to people those who belongs to their staff members i think, bcoz dey are drawing it as if dey are knowing the topic before itself and very well prepared for it, s its full and full cheating others , also while announcing the winner dey said some girl name and said she is winning this competition third time and getting the prize third time . Im asking the organizers a question,dare to answer me "Why your giving prize to the same girl third time u don't have anyone else ??or she is the only one out of 300 who is drawing nicely?? why you are not giving chance to other people who is participating for the first time or the one who deserves it??Third time she is winning means all the three years she is the one who got the gold chain,so totally unfair its someone else who really needs it or who deserves it...she has taken others opportunity for the third time and totally selfish... people who are feeling the same can give their feedback and support me . Please avoid this programme next year ... DNT go and encourage them its totally unfair... dey should not give chance to the winner more than once ,may be in their family others can participate but not the same girl or boy ,if dey are getting again and again why others should go and participate ??aren't we fools ??? please wake up people...

Today I went to exchange my purchase that I did last week. Even though it’s for exchange, they were enthusiastic in showing/suggesting different models to me. Prashanthi ,a sales executive showered lot of info that I needed to exchange the item. Thanks to her.

Buyback the gold at very less cost than the purity of gold.. put the value @88% for 90% purity of gold and conveyed that 2% inherient melting loss and also conveyed that it is as per malabar gold policy, but no body is provided the policy copy and conveyed as oral policy..such old and long outstanding company, maintain the policies orally,not written document..completely cheating and defraud the customer by buying the gold at a cheaper cost as per discretionary..be careful

My experience with Malabar gold has been good (D-ring branch) bcoz of Mr.Sulojan. Who is great at customer handling and especially good character.Appreciate his help in choosing the right item.

Ur sales team thing why the buyer came to the showroom.niether want to show any thing neither telling price even we are loyal buyers since showroom opened in lucknow.please monitor ur business volumes not in value u will reach to conclusion.

Horrible horrible service by Malabar Gold and Diamonds Dubai. They have literally shown me how bad their service is when it comes to making clients special. One calls me to wish me for my birthday when it’s actually not my birthday and promises a call back. That call never comes and again someone calls me to ask my address for Diwali compliments and then doesn’t turn up . When I complain to customer service a 3rd lady (M Shweta) calls me to apologize with a promise someone will
contact me which turns out to be a false promise again. Malabar how do we trust you as customers with such poor service. You made me feel humiliated 3 times and no one has the answer to why I was treated this way. I would never recommend this place to any of my friends every again…shame!!!

Had a seamless experience in purchase of a gold jewellery recently in the Mississauga office in Canada. The staff ( Praveen Kumar) who attended and helped us to successfully conclude the deal deserves credit in this regard. He made the visit to the stores very memorable and satisfactory and we wish him all the best in his endeavours!!

I had given one of my Tissot watches to the Malabar Watches at MG Road ( Job no: 1132), Kochi. As per their commitment they told me that it would be done by 8th August 2024 and they would call me to confirm on the same or when the work is done. I was given this assurance when I left from the store.

When it got delayed over 9 days, I called in to check out of my worry. That's when the person over the phone Mr Dhanesh said in this very arrogant and rude tone that there is a number on the invoice and that number can apparently also take incoming calls, so you should have called to check on an update on your watch. I was quite surprised by this revert, because one has given their valuable to this store because of their reputation of both - Tissot and Malabar Group but they haven't trained or given any time to understand their employee behaviour and tolerating this kind of customer service. Also, one has to understand that these services aren't cheap nor free, so it's a basic commitment to update about the customers watch if the work is done and to be polite to everyone.

I would personally would not suggest this store or service centre to any one for their watch service or repair. If they can do this kind of silly, stupid attitude then their employee could possibly do anything behind the customers back.

Service provided by Mrs. Sudha T was very good and impressive. Hospitality was very good. Appreciate her help in choosing the right item.
