To the representatives of Marble, I request a transparent account of the services provided. Initially, the financial collection process proceeded without issue. However, subsequent attempts to obtain updates regarding overcharges, duplicate charges, or detailed payment invoices have been met with a lack of clear responses. I specifically requested temporary financial relief due to my current unemployment, a request that was noted in the initial petition. The opposing counsel indicated that pursuing this relief would incur additional costs. Despite the initial petition being drafted by the first attorney, I have now been informed that I must await the pending case management hearing on November 4. It is understood that the opposing party has been served, but no further progress has been communicated.

I hired these people back in February to do a name change because my mom illegally changed my name years ago. I uploaded all the documents and I just find out they’re telling me they were doing research for aliases. Why would I pay someone that much money to do that, I know the two aliases. I have an email that I’m going to upload that I wrote him July 10th that’s clear as day. I will not let this go.

A little back story. My biological father’s name was Jerry Alvin Burris (now deceased).He had three kids, me, my brother John and sister Tammy. When I was younger, I also went by Jerry Alvin Burris. When the law changed and you had to have a birth certificate to get a drivers license, my birth certificate had Jones on it. At some point, my mom changed our birth certificates. My step father was John Paul Jones (now deceased). My brother John (also now deceased) and sister Tammy also went by my step father’s last name of Jones. So I have been going by Jerry Alvin Jones for 20+ years. I previously owned a house in Tennessee under the last name Jones. Everything I own here in Florida is under the last name Jones as well. My wife and I got married in 2018 and she is Jones. All I am wanting to do is make sure my name is legally changed from Jerry Alvin Burris to Jerry Alvin Jones since that is what I have been going by for years.

The initial phone call was very informative and helpful getting the process started. And they were very patient with me and my situation. And explained everything very throughly.

The services sold to me by my sales person were not delivered as described to me by my lawyer in the kickoff meeting. Negotiations included him reaching out to opposing counsel concerning the divorce settlement which he never did. The document drafted included none of the items I requested, I had to rewrite the settlement agreement. The attorney never drafted the childcare plan as he stated he would in the kickoff phone call. I drafted the childcare plan. Ultimately I did not think I would pay a couple thousand for an 8 page template document, technology, and paralegal drafting services. I would have made another decision. I feel this legal service was not as presented and the lawyer had no interaction with opposing counsel as initially said.

Step by step instruction helps me stay in track. When you ask for pictures, you don't say how's many. I tried to give enough to tell our story. I sent papers from my 2nd divorce. I dint have papers from my first. I was so stupid and young. I had a little bonfire and burned pictured and papers. I know married July 27th, 1985 and divorce March or April 1990.

Everything was great, until the final step. I was told Everything was included unless the other party didn't agree and we had to go to mediation or to trial to fight out differences.... then when he agreed to Everything and chose to not respond, Marble wanted more than the original payment to file the final paperwork. I did my first divorce by myself so I can finish this one and save $2800 for the 2 documents I need to file. Thankful for everything they did in the beginning, but very disappointed that they lied about upfront all included in the one price, unless he disagreed! I even asked several times before signing up, this includes everything unless he disagrees.

If I could give -0 for this company I would. They're scammers. Suggest you for next services and you pay for it. Then to find out you didn't need/use said service. Go round and round to get repaid because you paid for service you didn't get, which is supposed to be their moto "you don't pay for services you don't need". That's not true. They don't answer or return phone calls or emails. They got a nice amount out of me because I'm tired of fighting with them now, but you best believe I will never ever in this and the next lifetime recommend Marble as a reputable lawyer service. They will scam you. If you're using them now DO NOT PAY off their recommendation. Wait for your attorney to say what your next step should be and then pay. MARBLE WILL NEVER PAY YOU BACK YOUR MONEY if you don't end up needing the service. NEVER RECOMMENDING THESE SCAMMERS! Trust my word.

My attorney was incompetent. He did not file my complaint correctly, which made me lose my case regarding grandparents visitation rights. They are now trying to offer me $2,000 back of the $7,000 I paid. Of course, that is not sufficient. If anyone would like to see, I can supply them the refund adjustment they just sent me. In my opinion, this "minimal adjustment" is an admission of guilt.

HORRIBLE RUN!!!!! If you don't have a perfectly peaceful divorce GO ELSEWHERE I paid $12,000 4 business days ago. I am facing a high conflict contested 2 year long legal battle. I was assured Marble could handle my case THEY CAN NOT!! They use any local to you lawyer, they DO NOT VET them as far as I can tell. My lawyer Vincent Mosley didn't know anything about my case when he called. There was NO STRATEGY SESSION! Mr. Mosely was reprimanded in MD (my state) in 2023, He was also charged with practicing without a license in GA. where the headline for his case reads, and I quote "Unlicensed MD lawyer is accused of Bungling Non Profit licensing case in GA" The person Mr Mosely was representing left a review on another page , states Mr Mosely left the state before he could be charged and no one can find him. When Mr Mosely called me the day after Marble received $12,000 from me, he barely knew my name. Said this call was only a meet and greet and wed discuss more later. His paralegal would forward me his schedule for an appointment. Its now Two days LATER and NOTHING except a his "meet and greet" is now listed as a "strategy session" Im already fighting a unfair legal system, a financially coercive, lying fraud who put me through hell for 15 out 20 years while Im raising our son 90% ALONE. IT HAS BEEN 4 BUSINESS DAYS AND I AM ROUGHLY 45 DAYS OUT FROM TRIAL I HAVE NOT HEARD FOR ANYONE ABOUT MY ACTUAL CASE !!!!!! DO NOT DO IT YOURE BETTER OFF FILING PRO SE ASKING FOR A CONTINUANCE AND SPEND TIME AT THE LAW LIBRARY
