I have had this device for about 2 years. It is terrible. I bought it because of rave reviews from a carnivore you-tuber. I have had issues every single time I have tried to use it. Constantly loses connection. I have to change battery almost every time I use it. I'll stick with my $3.00 home goods meat thermometer. I am good with technology, so it's not a "user error" situation. Just crappy product.

Continual disconnet issues. Will not stay connected even at 5 feet. A waste of time and money. I have bought several of these over the last couple of years based on "influencers" representation. I highly recommend finding something that actual works.

Nachdem wir im Juli 24 einen Meater + angeschafft hatten, funktionierte das Teil Anfangs ganz gut, aber nach einiger Zeit konnte der Fühler immer mühsamer Verbindung zur App herstellen. Mehrfacher Batterietausch nutzte leider nichts. Nach Kontakt mit komischen Hilfe Chat wurde mir mitgeteilt das eine Garantie nicht möglich wäre, aufgrund Temp. Überschreitung. Sehr unfreundlicher und Support. Hatte auch nicht interessiert dass schon länger Probleme bestanden, Hauptsache das Problem hat sich erledigt. Neukauf wurde mir mitgeteilt. Eine Kundenorientierte Lösung sieht anders aus. Ich kann nur jedem von einem Kauf abraten.

Mein Meater + funktioniert eigentlich sehr gut wenn ich nur die Fleischsorte einstelle, sobald ich aber die Rezepte von Master Class nachkochen möchte, findet der meine Geräte nicht. das hat jetzt 2x geklappt, jedoch 5x nicht.

Ik heb een Meater plus 2. Werkte uitstekend, maar helaas is de Meater in de kamado gevallen en werkt niet meer. Ik kreeg een aanbod voor alleen een probe. Deze aanbieding wil ik accepteren, maar dat lukt niet omdat ten onrechte wordt aangegeven dat mijn adres geen geldig adres is. Ik probeer al meer dan een week contact op te nemen, telefonisch en via chat, maar deze club is onbereikbaar. Kortom, de Meater is goed, maar de organisatie is onbereikbaar en dus heel slecht. Beter om geen Meater te kopen.

Alles in gutem Zustand und von hoher Qualität zu einem günstigen Preis. Ich habe ein Power Rack gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden. Zwei Teile haben gefehlt, aber der Kundenservice war sehr freundlich und schnell und hat mir die Teile sofort geschickt. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Maybe I got a bad one but no matter two of the four probes don’t stay connected and don’t work. They will be great for a couple hours then they lose connection which is bad when it come to meat. Maybe I just got a bad set, but for the price they should work.

Useless. the entire point of a wireless bluetooth temp probe is to be able to leave the cooking area. Your phone needs to be within 50 feet of the probe. It would be nice to be able to leave your house and still know what temp your cook is at. Do not understand the entire premise of this product

Your can’t contact them at all, hence the one star review. My probe doesn’t hold power and does not a last a cook. Have replaced batteries etc but still disconnects after about 30mins!!!
No one there to support!!!

The practicality of this device is very nice if only the Bluetooth connection would last beyond 10 feet. What the point of having a wireless connection when the second I step inside the house the connection gets lost.

I’ve had it with this brand.
I bought the MEATER Probe 2 thinking I was investing in a premium, high-tech tool for serious cooks. In reality? I paid top dollar for a glorified toothpick with Bluetooth that can’t even stay connected for 10 minutes. I’ve used it less than 10 times, and it’s already failed me in 5 consecutive cooks — including long briskets where the entire point of the probe is to be reliable.
What’s worse? MEATER’s customer service is a masterclass in corporate gaslighting. I followed every instruction, kept the charger close, kept my phone nearby, and even bought a previous replacement — which also failed. Now they want me to pay AGAIN for another “discounted” unit. Are you kidding me?
They won’t offer a refund. They won’t stand by their product. They won’t even offer to downgrade me to the older version (which actually worked) unless I pay again. So basically, their solution for a faulty product is: “Here, give us more money and maybe this one won’t suck as much.”
The support team hides behind “policy,” while ignoring the obvious: the product doesn’t work. Period. I’ve spent more time resetting this thing than cooking with it. I paid for peace of mind — and got a glorified anxiety device.
Bottom line: MEATER is a brilliant marketing gimmick built on unreliable tech and backed by a support team that will drain your wallet instead of fixing your problem. If you’re serious about grilling, smoking, or just cooking anything that matters — run the other way.
Buy literally anything else.

Extremely disappointing customer service. After waiting 45 minutes to connect to a live person via chat, the customer service agent just left the chat and me hanging. Why would MEATER want to address any of my concerns after collecting my $300? Clearly my time means nothing. :(

I got 7 cooks out of it before the most expensive thermometer i ever bought stopped working in less than a year, i bought it for smoking brisket and got to use it once for that, no big deal, things break and it has a warranty. THEY MUST BREAK REALLY OFTEN BECAUSE THEY MAKE IT TOO HARD TO GET WARRANTY

Imagine having a device that tells you EXACTLY when your food is perfectly cooked, without opening and closing the grill lid 20x to check.
Such was the promise of Meater.
Alas, the frustration involved in using this devise is hardly worth the payoff.
This company needs to spend more time supporting the their product than trying to sell more.
The world is frustrating enough w/o Meater ruining an otherwise perfect day of grilling

Udmærket termometer så længe det virkede. Desværre stoppede det med at virke kort tid efter at garantien udløb.
Jeg har kontaktet Meaters kundeservice vedr. dette, men fik blot at vide at de ikke kunne gøre noget, fordi garantien var udløbet.
