Do not use these charlatans

Do not use these charlatans. My partner bought the milk maker online took an age to arrive so thought it was a scam so I cancelled card payment. Product then arrived weeks later so agreed with the company to release the cancellation charge on basis of a £25 discount. Despite numerous emails the discount has never been paid. Now they claim their payment system has broken so 'please bear with us'. Absolute scam and dishonest. Still waiting 20th April. Please don't be fooled by the flashy website and read the negative reviews before you buy....I will be reporting to Trading Standards

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

I ordered the milkin plants milk maker and a set of 3 storage bottles on 07/03. These arrived on 17/3 and I set about making my first batch of soya milk. I followed the recipe provided in the free ebook, which uses 50g of dried soya beans. The first problem I encountered, it takes 24 minutes to run the program not the 5 minutes advertised. Second problem occurred when I tried to filter the resulting sludge. It didn’t go through the holes in the filter provided. After an hour of squeezing the sides of the storage bottle to try and form a vacuum to pull it through I resorted to using a spoon to force it through. Once cooled in the fridge and giving it a good shake I tried to open the storage bottle, result milk over me. I made my first cup of tea using this “milk”. Disgusting doesn’t even cover it, the texture of the tea was thick and gritty with an inch of sludge in the bottom of my cup…gross. I’ve since tried to make milk using 40g & 30g of soya beans but the same problem exists. I contacted milkin plants on 25/03 requesting a return address under their risk free 90 days return. I followed their returns process, used the product for 7 days, took photos of me using it and documented the results. I contacted them again on 28/03 for a return address and again on 04/04 as I hadn’t heard from them. They did respond on the 04/04 offering advice on using the milk maker and a discount but NO ADDRESS FOR RETURNING IT. I’ve received several more offers of discount to keep the product which I’ve declined as I don’t want to keep something that doesn’t work! We are now at 19/04 I’ve had no contact from milkin plants since 06/04 and still don’t have an address for returning this useless product. Just don’t waste your money!

DO NOT BUY Milkinplants. It is a total scam. It takes 25 mins (not five mins, as claimed) to make a tiny quantity (500ml) of not very nice milk. Our family uses about 1.5l of plant-based milk per day, so we'd have 1.5 hours of deafening noise + huge electricity usage to prepare what we need.
I'm absolutely gutted - bought this (as I'm sure many people do) - because I thought it would be a better thing for the environment. What a joke! Consider all the materials and energy used to create the thing, ship it around the world, and then the huge amount of electricity (and money) you will need to use to run it.
Their 90-day money back guarantee is a lie. They will not accept the machine back. They will offer you a further 30%, then 40% discount - which won't materialise.
I feel like a total dupe for trusting that these were good people trying to sell a helpful product.
My advice - avoid at all costs!!

The item arrived smashed and broken

The item arrived smashed and broken, it's absolutely no use to us at all.
Despite me trying to contact them in anyway possible, via emails and messaging on Instagram, they do not reply.
Their apparent office in London does not exist. It's a complete scam.
I would definitely stay away from this company, don't learn the hard way like me.

Scam & not a useful product

Scam - don't believe 90 day returns, no customer support and not a useful product.

Main issue: Too much effort to produce only 500ml/ pint of milk - 25 mins making, 20 mins straining.

Delivery issues: Product took 3 months to arrive, wanted to cancel but they said it would be soon/ was already out for delivery to keep me hanging on.

I did not find the product particularly suitable to my needs - too much effort - straining the milk is tedious and challenging, and not possible with the little stainless steel strainer provided. The recipe suggestions used far too much nuts and ended up think and gloopy. No recipe for oat milk so my trials ended up like bland porridge.

Self cleaning? Not really and it is hard to scrub out because blades are in the way. One of my trials ended up with oat mixture burnt to the bottom and cannot get it scrubbed out.

No customer service: I emailed for further advice on recipes but got no response. So I decided to return it, and contacted the email provided within the 90 days, 3 times. Still no response. This is a scam!

I had ordered on the 28th March

I had ordered on the 28th March. Website contact details as of today, 17-Apr-25, "404 this page could not be found". Also, my emails are now not being answered. The Evri is saying they have returned the item to YMT as they failed to deliver after 3 attempts but the product never came through. I emailed the customer service to verify my address once again after placing the order but there is no reply whatsoever. I feel I have been scammed.

Avoid This Company – Terrible Customer Service and Refund Policy

Do not buy from this company! I have had the worst experience. It is impossible to return your items - it took me over two weeks to finally get a return address. The support team were incredibly slow to respond and were extremely reluctant to provide me with a returns address. They even asked me to keep the product I was not happy with! When they finally gave me a return address, I eventually returned the items and confirmed they were delivered, but now I’m being completely ignored. No refund. No reply. Nothing.

This company clearly doesn’t care about its customers once they’ve taken your money. If anything goes wrong with your order, good luck getting help. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Absolutely shocking!

404 THIS PAGE COULD NOT BE FOUND!

Website contact details as of today, 15-Apr-25, "404 this page could not be found". Also, my emails are now not being answered. This is disconcerting. Was told I had to return my item to the United States (I purchased it in the UK!). Their UK registered office was previously listed as being in London, now "page not found"; alternatively they offered me a 30% refund instead of returning. After I opted for the 30% refund.....no response. What is going on Milkin' Plants?

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

Do not purchase from Milkinplants. I question if it's a legitimate business or just some people shipping a milk maker from their garage. I purchased this after seeing an ad on facebook and it looked interesting. I should've looked into it more and seen if there were any videos on it. I went ahead and bought it--First of all, it did not make great milk the way the website promotes--I could not filter out the sediment for the life of me and the self-clean feature does not work. It is cheap and the lid is plastic which defeats the "environmental features" of the stainless steel which are advertised. I reached out to support at milkinplants.com that I wanted to return it and get a refund. Luckily I paid via paypal. The did not respond. I filed a dispute with Paypal and the email listed with paypal is support at breeze.com. I reached out to them and some person named Stephanie was emailing me. First she wanted to offer me 20% off for keeping it; I said no. I returned it to their "US warehouse" which is an address in Ontario, CA. I didn't mind paying the return shipping because I didn't want this piece of crap. It arrived at their "address" on 4/1. I reached out to them and they emailed twice saying it would have to go through inspection. It is now 4/11 and they never responded and luckily, paypal refunded me the money in my favor---they never responded to paypal.

I question if their reviews on their website are real--Don't waste your money here--you're better off getting the nut milk maker with Tribest.

Do not respond to emails

Very poor customer service. Sent three emails regarding the product and haven’t had a response in over a week. Product is ok but just through not responding I wouldn’t advise.

Update after month still not heard anything and now it’s not working anymore. Unable to contact them. Do not use! How can I get my money back when they don’t respond to emails.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME

upon opening package and plugging in item there was a small broken part to where you plug in to the machine. however I did not really make too much of a do about it as its at the back and did not effect the operation of the machine.
However, this just did not meet the advertisement nor my expectations of how the "milk" would be. I get a better outcome using my ninja machine. I have attempted more than several times to contact Milkin plants to schedule a return / refund and as of yet have heard absolutely noting. Such as shame as this is clearly a money making scheme and does not care about their reputation nor their customers

I have a wrapped parcel ready to return and no way of contacting this incompetent company.

ITEM CAME DAMAGED, NO AFTER SALES SERVICE

The box came pretty beaten up, so I assume the machine inside has suffered too on the way. The item came totally unprotected, inside a plastic bag with nearly no protection for the item. Also, there were signs inside the box that it had been opened before (broken plastic wrapper, torn and bent instructions leaflet...
I have been trying to get in contact with them since then, I have sent numerous emails without a response. I really do not want to keep the item, and they promise customers can send it back for free if they are not satisfied. Really disappointing.

I can`t recommend anyone to shop here

I can`t recommend anyone to shop here! They offer you to thy their product for 90 days, but I could already see when I got it, that the product did not meet my expectations and wanted to return it. They don't accept that right away. When I finally got an address it turned out to not be the right one, as I got an extra bill from UPS as they had to find the right place to deliver the package. It has now been 1,5 months and I have still not received my money! THIS HAS DEFINITELY BEEN THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.....a lot of kind words but no honest action!

A nightmare !

A nightmare !
As soon as I’ve opened the package I knew that the product wouldn’t meet my expectations.

I have been struggling for a month to send back the product and get my money back.

Horrible, unacceptable return and refund policy.
First they offered a 30 later a 40% refund in order to keep the order that I’ve declined.

I had to deal with the customer service during weeks to receive an address and to be eligible to send back the product.

First, they told me that shipping address would be in the USA 😳 then finally I got an address in Belgium, Europe, I had to pay the way back (20€) and I still do not know whether I will get my money back.

Honestly, the worst online experience ever.

Buyer beware - Read the Refund Policy

Currently trying to get a refund from them. Their refund policy is not clear but requires you to use the product, take photos, send photos to them, and then they will decide whether you are due a refund. They won't tell you where or how to return it. I have received several emails from them encouraging me to keep it, including discounts. No info in or on the box. Questionable info on their website. Mine was ordered before Christmas and took weeks to get there but that's the least of the problems with this company. Such a shame as I think the product probably isn't bad.

Customer service is non existant

Customer service is non existant. No acknowledgement of order, no receipt, no delivery timescale update emails. In short no communication other than debiting my credit card.
When the item arrived it did not include the promised ebook download details.
The 90 day money back guarantee cannot be invoked without the receipt which was not supplied.
How is this company still in business?
UPDATE: Milkin Plants reply to this review suggests that I should have contacted customer services before leaving a negative review. Please check your records, I did try to contact customer services several times and received no response. I should not have had to resort to leaving a public negative review to draw attention to some very basic issues which you have now finally resolved. Thank you.

Customer service is non-existent. I have finally received the milk-maker after 6 weeks but the packaging was inadequate so the milk maker arrived damaged. I have emailed with videos and photographs without a response. I just want a refund!

STILL HAVEN'T RECIEVED MY ITEMS 2 MONTHS AFTER PLACING THE ORDER!
Originally placed order Jan 6th, waited 2 weeks and had to contact them to be told items wouldn't be in stock until the end of Jan.
Fast forward, my milk maker arrived without the storage bottles! We are now March 11th and I'm still yet to recieve.
SARAH AND STEPHANIE most unhelpful and literally just reply with empty words they give no tracking or real substance in the replies.
