Excellent customerservice

I got a Misfit Ray in july, but it keeped running out of batteries every 3 weeks. Misfit Support tried to help me, but after their suggestions did not work, they have decided to send me a new one. That is what I call excellent customerservice. They respond fast and were all very understanding. Thank you!

I have had issues since purchasing a …

I have had issues since purchasing a misfit shine 2 back in December. The customer service is non-existent, My advice is don't there are so many design flaws and silly bugs with it my biggest issues are:

1) I have lost count of the times I have lost the device and had to retrace my steps trying to sync the device to work out where it is, this is clearly poor design of the strap and I am amazed I have found the device every time so far

2) I have had numerous occasions where I have been on long walks and the device has tracked far fewer steps (1000s) less than my partner’s device.

3) About 2-3 times a week the device appears to freeze. You cannot see the time, it will not sync and also stops logging steps as well. The only way to recover form this is to remove the battery

4) The device doesn’t like being tapped in water. This makes the “swimming” function useless as you cannot start or stop a swimming session.

5) The battery life is about 2 weeks which is ridiculous given the cost of the batteries.

Misfit shine 2 see below

'BUYER BEWARE. Great watch, but the strap and casing it comes with are rubbish. The watch module will constantly pop out of this casing and, like me, you'll probably end up losing it without noticing. This is a common fault with the watch (my father's has the same issue) which really needs to be sorted out by the manufacturer. I would not recommend this product.I have emailed twice and only had an automated reply. I've left it 3 days before leaving this review

I eventually received a reply from misfit and a replacement watch has been sent out. They have unfortunately not put my fathers mind at ease
as they haven't answered the question about the poor design.

I presume the replacement will be of the same design as I am away for several months and will have to wait for my return to check it out.
My farther as come up with his own way of keeping it safe by using double sided sticky tape to keep it in the strap, though this means its no longer interchangeable with the fob shoe clip. I added a star as the communication as been ok.
