I had a terrible experience with Mode Auto Concepts.
I ordered wheel spacers for my 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE 53 AMG using their vehicle selector tool. I entered my exact make, model, and year, and their website populated the recommended spacers and lug hardware for my vehicle.
When the parts arrived, the lug nuts/bolts were too short and unsafe for the application.
After contacting support, they attempted to blame me by claiming I “did not provide vehicle information,” even though my purchase order clearly showed the exact vehicle the order was placed for. They then admitted they do not even offer the correct hardware sizing needed for a 20mm spacer setup on the GLE 53 AMG — meaning their own system recommended incompatible parts.
Instead of taking responsibility for the fitment error, they tried to force me to pay return shipping and a 20% restocking fee for a mistake caused by their website recommendation system.
The most frustrating part was the customer service. Rather than resolving the issue professionally, they repeatedly shifted responsibility onto the customer despite clear documentation showing the order was placed specifically for a 2024 GLE 53 AMG.
If you own a Mercedes AMG vehicle, especially a GLE 53/63, I would strongly recommend verifying every fitment detail independently before ordering from this company. Their automated fitment recommendations were incorrect in my case, and support was unwilling to stand behind the product recommendation generated by their own website.

To clarify, the kit purchased is not listed as compatible for your 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE 53 AMG. The product selected is a different application (sedan fitment), whereas the GLE platform requires the SUV-specific kit with longer hardware.
This information is clearly shown on the fitment table prior to purchase. Unfortunately, the incorrect kit was selected at checkout, which is why the supplied bolts are not suitable for your vehicle.
We’re happy to assist with an exchange to the correct SUV-specific kit, with the price difference payable, as this reflects the correct application for your vehicle.

H&R items held at the supplier rather than a MODE warehouse now show supplier availability and an estimated dispatch window that accounts for transit from H&R. I purchased a part from their website that was clearly advertised as compatible with my vehicle. When it arrived, it was not compatible at all. I contacted them expecting the issue to be resolved promptly, but instead they refused a refund and insisted the part had been tested and was suitable for my vehicle.
It was only after I provided clear written evidence from the vehicle manufacturer proving that the part was not compatible that they finally agreed to accept the return. Even then, they attempted to impose a 20% restocking fee and required me to cover the return postage, despite the issue arising from their own incorrect compatibility information.
The most frustrating part of the experience was the complete lack of accountability and customer service. Rather than addressing the problem fairly, I was met with excuses and resistance until the evidence against their position was undeniable.
Based on my experience, buyers should be very careful and independently verify compatibility before purchasing. If something goes wrong, do not expect a straightforward resolution. In my view, the focus seems to be far more on protecting their sales than looking after their customers.

In cases where there is a dispute around compatibility, we always assess the request against manufacturer specifications and available technical data before making a decision.
In this instance, once additional documentation was provided, we agreed to accept the return to ensure the correct outcome. As per our returns policy, change-of-mind or non-fault returns may be subject to standard restocking fees and return shipping costs, which are clearly outlined prior to purchase.
We understand preferences around hardware style can vary, however the supplied bolts meet the correct functional requirements for the application and are fully compatible with the kit as designed. Upgraded hardware options are available at additional cost for customers who prefer different specifications.
We’re sorry if this experience felt frustrating, but our process is based on verifying compatibility and ensuring safety and correct fitment for all customers.

They will not respond to emails or return calls regarding a part they sent which was incorrect. Zero after sales service, do not purchase from this company as if you need to get hold of them, you cant. The only phone number on their website is a mobile number which goes straight to voicemal. There are dealers listed on their web site, i contacted some dealers to obtain a land line number. The dealers even state they are dodgy and are impossible to get hold of. Avoid at all costs!

Since posting my original review, unsurprisingly, I was finally contacted by the company.
For some context, I ordered MODE wheel spacers that were advertised as being suitable for my selected vehicle and supplied with matching wheel bolts. However, the spacers arrived with wheel bolts that were not compatible with the OEM BMW wheels.
Despite this, Mode Concepts initially denied there was any issue and maintained that the supplied bolts were suitable. It wasn't until I obtained written confirmation from BMW stating that the bolts were incorrect that they agreed to consider my return request.
Even though the supplied bolts could not be used, Mode Concepts still attempted to charge a 40% restocking fee, with return shipping also at my expense, before they would consider issuing a refund.
Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others before purchasing from this company. In my opinion, their handling of this issue was extremely disappointing and far from what I would expect from a reputable business.

22 days and I have heard nothing from mode in regards to my order that i placed on the 4th of feb for an mst intake and turbo inlet, after finding the product on their site labeled as "in stock" "ready for pickup" I purchased hoping to be able to pick up same day and install the intake, it has now been 22 days, i have sent multiple emails and heard nothing back, Ive now lodged a complaint with fair trading to try and get a refund. poor communication, false stock advertising,

Quality of Courier needs review
Sale was fine, price was good. Comms was good. But couriers please is terrible. I have been waiting over a week for my parcel that was in their warehouse in my location over a week ago. Contact is terrible, and I am still waiting. Use someone else.
