Was told on the phone that it would be 1.5 hours. When i dropped my car off at 10:30am i was told it would be "after lunch" which i had no issue with as i presumed that would be around 12:30pm. Did not pick up my car until 3pm (4.5 hours later). Nobody rang me to say the car was complete, the only reason i found out was because i went back in store to wait as i needed my car. Won't be back.

I went to vic gardens to shop and also checked the reviews for car tires near me.

Imagine my surprise when I learned mycar service had great reviews and was at Vic gardens

I asked the Asian male at the service desk for a quote for 4 x 215/60 60 R.

I decided on the continentals at $195 each.

I asked him if it was cheaper if I brought 5 tires.

To which he said not really.

His carefree attitude cost that service the job.

And earned them a 1 star honest review.

I will give the money to there competitor.

Who can look after me and meet my needs.

Never going there again and I don't recommend them.

Update:

I contacted Bridgestone in Collingwood today the 20/12/23.

To get a quote for 4 continental tyres.

It was $135 I asked if I get 5 was it cheaper.

He said if I purchased 5.

I would also get a free wheel alignment.

Mycar $195 x 5 $935
Bridgestone $135 x 5 $675

Much better value.

Guys took great car of my very old car and its now purring along beautifully

Took it in with a splutter, told needed new spark plugs - and was advised to replace seating at the same time for all 4... was going to cost a thousand - I said just do the one with the issue. On call back, manager was a bit sheepish - said he checked the other 3 and they actually didn't need doing... So were initially happy to quote me for work that didn't need doing. A few months later, after going to the dealer, I found out why - piping broken during install of the plugs - $320 damaged part + labour. You have been warned. What an idiot I was going there - wasn't cheaper than the dealer, and actually cost me more in the long run.

Manager went the extra yard and went and picked up the tyres
