Tried to apply finance but what an utter shambles the website/app is. You fill out the form and it take you back to the main screen. Fill it out again and you repeat as it doesn’t have any information to guide. Meanwhile emails are being sent to you saying you have applied for finance so multiple searches are being conducted when you actually haven’t done anything that to just move on to the next step. You use the link to one of the 5 emails that said you got pre approved. Follow the links takes you back to the main screen. Unless you have the website open before you click new open in a different tab then I’m convinced it will NOT work. I must of tried everything even tho it should of been so so simple. Now I must have atleast 5/6/7 searches on my credit file. Absolutely useless company. DO NOT USE. It’s literally rated 2.8 that’s horrendous ! And some of these 1 star reviews are this month !!! I’d give a -5 if I could.

It a 4 star at the moment I have not started paying yet that why its not a 5 yet but at the minute it's been good just waiting for goods to come and then my first payment is 3rd of May so we will see how that goes through then if OK it will be a 5☆ it's all good at the minute

I'm a new customer & haven't been using the company for long, so far I can't find anything to criticises them with. I'm happy I was offered 6 months interest free to pay for my purchase & didn't have to pay the 1st installment straight away & after my purchase arrived, I only then received an email to download the app & then was given the choice when I was to pay my 1st installment. So far, very pleased.

Well I was approved very quickly for the item that I couldn’t afford to pay for in one and struggled without it

Terrible company. I received a notification saying the application had been approved then an email saying it was under review. At the same time I received a text saying I had to go back to the retailers site to complete however there was nothing to do when I went back into the site. After receiving this I did not hear a thing about whether it had been approved or not. I must add I have a very high credit score and don’t normally get rejected from finance.

I’ve had Newpay for about 2 years now, built up £1,000 over that period.
I’ve purchased 5 different items all totalling £500 and was paying £50 a month zero percent interest.
I thought I’d check the app to see how it’s been doing and to my surprise I had messages from Newpay telling me that I missed 1 payment and now my promotional offer has been cancelled on all of those items. I was given 48% interest rate. I didn’t receive an email and was oblivious that I was only paying the interest each month not the actual product I purchased. On my end I had plenty of money in my account and sent statements to prove this. They still said it was my fault so in that case I paid the full remaking balance and cancelled with them.
Please don’t waste your time.
You try to purchase an item, it states you have been accepted for credit then when it comes to completing your purchase it states they have to review your application. You end up waiting for days only to be told that your application has been unsuccessful. What a massive faff for nothing. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!

Retailer refunded me 2 weeks ago and it still hasn’t been credited back to my account. New pay have the money from the retailer. New pay don’t answer me or the retailer who has also been chasing this on my behalf. So I’m paying interest on an item I do not have.
Awful company. Avoid!

I started using Newpay back in July and I think it’s great . I had one issue where for some reason a company charged the order twice but I phoned Newpay and they were great and assured me it would correct itself and if it didn’t I was to phone back and they would sort it manually .
They raised my credit limit from £900 to £1650 last month and overall I’m really pleased with their service 😊

Don't use them ..
I use them for a transport item and had the item for a year thinking that I have pay a small portion off and just not long check and haven't even payed abit off there Interest rates are stupid e.g pay 50 pound they add 35 in interest please keep away
What not to like split payments over 6 months with 0% interest , made Christmas a lot easier

I've used NP a few times to purchase things and everything has gone fine, however, recently a company took a second payment (for the exact same amount as the first original order i did authorize) without my consent. so i've been charged £160 twice, for an order i only placed once. i returned the items the next day after receiving them and it seems the company have only refunded me £3?? its very difficult to speak to someone at the company i ordered from and when i called NP for help/dispute today they told me that my transaction was not covered by mastercard, but instead themselves, and they do not have any customer protection for this scenario, they have 0 ability to claim back/dispute/cancel or challenge any transactions. for a company providing credit agreements this is extremely concerning and baffling to me how this is legal and acceptable. i was told to contact the merchant that took this payment twice or contact the financial ombudsman, so 0 support for anyone in a fraudulent or financial situation that is not of their control. This is appauling, i will not be using NP after this has been/hopefully has been, sorted out, by myself obviously as they don't want anything to do with it.

It doesn't work,
I created an account, and I'm not able to log in, tried the mobile app, but it doesn't work, tried their website it doesn't work, and there's no way to log in.
When calling them, they ask for a client number, what client number if they don't send you one when creating the account?
Lastly when I try to pay indicates that the basket is empty.
Total waste of time.

I am ok for all criterium and they decided in 1sec I was not eligible for open an account. It is not an serious company

I never got past the application stage. I was accepted for credit so I emailed Newpays support with a question around the interest terms (see below). Newpay said this was a question for the retailer and to contact them (which I thought was odd but went ahead and did). The retailer said that Newpay support was mistaken and I needed to ask them. I lost all confidence in Newpay at that point when their support couldn't even understand/answer a simple question.

I would have to ask you to contact the merchant you made your purchase from.
They deal directly with any queries relating to your credit agreement including amending or cancelling your credit agreement, deliveries, goods/service enquiries and other general queries.
You can find the contact details for your merchant on their web site. The merchant may have also sent you an email containing contact details. If you have not received any emails, please check your spam/junk mail folders.
