Beautiful Kintsugi plates!
I got the kintsugi plates and love them! They are heavy, solid and well-made, with beautiful designs. I love the story behind them and place them underneath a smaller dish for dinner parties where I want to show off a centerpiece. Also a fan of the glossy finish. Definitely would recommend this product.

I bought an received a Tsukasa Hinoura…
I bought an received a Tsukasa Hinoura Santoku from Japana and it arrived well packed to Sweden after some waiting.
The knife is, of course, a very nice...a tad too heavy for my taste ( and compared to his son Mutsumis knives ) but of course a masterpiece handmade by one of the best smiths in Japan.
Japana have a handpicked selection of really good products.
Recommended!

Moritaka yanagiba knife
I was looking for yanagiba knife for some time and it wasn’t an easy task in Europe. Fortunately found Japanahome with very sensible pricing on Moritaka knives. While it’s not true yanagiba with its dual edge, it is an excellent knife! Very sharp right out of the box, some time with my stones brought the edge to extreme sharpness.
Light, balanced and extreme joy to work with. Very highly recommended.
Very happy with the fast service and shipping of Japanahome as well. Site is easy to navigate and nice to look at.

Japana Home has an amazing Japanese knife collection
Wow. I mean .. seriously this knife is absolutely beautiful! What an amazing find and Japana Home has been so accommodating. I am a working chef and can’t wait to use this santoku in my kitchen.
