My wife paid over £20 for their nails envy product from Boots and she is very disappointed, she says it chips off within a day or so, she will never buy this particular product again and she advises anyone looking for this type of nail hardener to avoid this one like the plague

The product by OPI called OPI REPAIR MODE has actually caused extreme damage to my nails so I want to tell users to avoid it. It makes the nail so hard they become like glass and seem to shatter- the instructions were terrible and there was no warning of the damage it could cause in spite of me contacting them for advice on how to use it.

I so wish I had read these terrible reviews before wasting over £60 on OPI Repair Mode and two bottles of nail varnish. After following the (inadequate) instructions I applied the Repair Mode for six days on bare nails. A couple of days later four of my nails broke off, they had become so dry and brittle. The nail varnish was so bad - streaky, almost watery- I gave up on it the second day and have now binned the lot. I’m going back to my Leighton Denny Renovate for nails which in comparison does work well over time. Lesson learned, but a very expensive one with shockingly bad products.

Opi repair mode is a complete waste of money 💰. Using it for two months now and my nails are as brittle as ever. . An expensive mistake 😕

Treated myself to bottle of OPI for a wedding- for first time, thinking it would last a few days. Sales assistant waxed lyrical about how long it would last etc. really regret wasting the money- it lasted a few hours, started chipping off ant the wedding absolutely awful quality and strength. Very disappointed and won’t be buying again!

I bought 9 Opi Gel Colour recently with the hope to change the CNDs that I had with these new vibrant - long lasting colours.

I am writing this review to let you know that was £150 wasted money:
1) the colors don’t actually look like the bottle or the pictures you find on the internet (e.g.: my dogsled is a hybrid - the actual color is like 3 shades of blue away, no green)

2)it chipped in the first day! From two nails…this is unacceptable, a £5.00 is better

I've always loved OPI but omg what have they done to their products??? The supposed 'new' nail envy has totally ruined my nails - weak, splitting, ridged.
Even my nail tech has now told me to avoid them, they've changed hands so many times apparently so they clearly have no interest in being the amazing brand they once were.

Just heard back from Opi about my discoloured nail envy and they said all there stock is not fit to send to anyone what does that tell you about company AVOIDjust found out my polish is fake

OPI used to be my favourite brand. The quality has been bad for 3 years at least. Uneven coverage streaky and does not stay. It is very pricy but can't even compete with my Tesco and Sainsburys brands that sell fir a fraction of the price. Have binned 8 bottles tonight as just not worth battling with them. Will not purchase again!

The brand’s website reviews are NOT TRUSTWORTHY! They only post positive reviews which they probably post themselves! Two days ago I posted negative review about their top coat which is bubbling up ruining the whole look of nails, however, to no avail. Overpriced trash

I didn't read reviews as OPI is such a well known name. What a big mistake. This product is absolutely useless, you may as well just apply water to your nails for all the good it does. I applied product daily without fail. No difference whatsoever to my nails. I wish I had thought to take photos of before and after.
Following such an enthusiastic advert campaign frrom OPI I really expected good results.
Wish there was a way to claim money back, as this product definitely is not fit for purpose . Total, total rubbish.

Waste of money I got the nail repair and strengthening nail polish worst products ever, wish I had read the reviews before I spent a fortune

OPI was my go to nail polish in the early 2000s. I stopped using it, but decided to come back to it. I remember now why I left it in the 2000s. I bought three bottles, which was over €60, and it was a mistake. One color I bought was called You're Such a Budapest. It has the same consistency as water. It drips everywhere and it takes 4 coats or more to appreciate the color. Furthermore, I cannot get the streaks out of the paint. When I let one coat dry and put another it keeps streaking and picking up the color from previous coats. So now it is streaky and splotchy. Does OPI have anyone who tests their products before putting them on the market? I will never waste my money on any OPI product. It is clear they have no intention on updating/improving their product in the 21st century. Thank goodness many more quality products are available now.

Spoke to Helen from customer service who wasn't helpful at all. No refund or exchange offered for faulty nail varnishes. She said she needed a receipt. Who keeps a receipt for a nail varnish?

Terrible.
I bought this thinking it was a good nail varnish.
After a few hours if that of having it on, it chips off.
Would never buy again.

Once again, I stupidly bought another container of OPI nail polish. The worst part of using OPI is the terrible cheap brushes they put in their own polish. The bristles are sick and therefore leave lines and don’t put a smooth coat down. The worst part is all they’re light colors have no coverage, so really, you have to pile the coats on. Their day in the sun is over. There are too many other good polishes out there to be messing with OPI anymore.

Terrible nail varnish. Chips a day after application..contacted customer services from the provider I purchased from and got no reply ! Not worth the money.

The nail varnish is dreadful. It has no shine and pale colours need lots of coats. It doesn’t last long as there’s something wrong with the consistency of the lacquer It seems to be really chalky which wears off. Primark nail varnish is better and only costs £1

I bought the Go to grape lengths colour and it's supposed to look sparkly. Instead, the nail polish is grainy and it's hard to make it fully opaque even with two coats. I loved the colour on the bottle but I am disappointed with the end result.
