Loyal fan

I have had their gear for years and actually nothing has worn out but our old v1 everyday packs were the smaller ones and now we have bigger cameras we have the new coyote 30l units plus duffels cubes. These things have been in 4x4 across Namibia, slung in the belly of Cessna Caravans and lugged up to the Tiger's Nest monastery in Bhutan with no worries.
Like many others I have their slings clutches and captures and these can really take it too e.g. Canon R5 II with 600mm EF f4.

The fun and quirky team are always helpful so I remain a loyal fan

Customer service is really good, just as their bags.

I have multiple Peak Design products, one of which is a 9-year-old Everyday Backpack, that I carry almost every day. The fabric on the back did not hold up in daily use, and I inquired about how this could best be solved. Then I was amazed by the customer service. I know they have a lifetime warranty, but they really exceeded my expectations. My bag was replaced at no cost with a brand-new V2 Everyday Backpack.

I'm super happy with the service, and this is a reason for me to pay a premium for their products in the future.

I'm proudly carrying my replacement Everyday Backpack, every day!

Real Lifetime warenty

I'd had a Peak Design bag for years, and the zippers started to show slight defects. A few photos and a very simple form to fill out, and customer service offered to exchange the bag for the new model. Within a few days, without having to return the old one, I received the new one. All free of charge—the best customer service I've ever experienced! You can buy with complete confidence; the lifetime warranty really works!

Great customer service

They replace the damaged strap after 6 years with a new one, after short time of veryfication, even though I didn’t have a proof of purchase . The new strap arrived very quickly. I wanted to thank very much for the efficient service. I will definitely recommend PD products and customer service to my family and friends.

Cuff Strap is ideal for quickly changing cameras from your bag

I use the Peak Design Cuff Strap for events as I love having the freedom to shoot over the crowd, around people etc. I wear a sling that carries one camera whilst I hold my other with the cuff strap.. Very quick to change cameras when I release the clip and attach to the other camera whilst doing events. This method also works with a 'cross body camera bag'. Great Product from a company that listens to people

Outsourced and Slow Customer Service

After ordering a backpack and packing cubes, I discovered they were shipped separately. Backpack was received but cubes were not. PD website shows the cubes are still pending carrier pickup. But AI assistant claims they were delivered.

Sent customer service email explaining the situation and that I really needed quick resolution because of a trip I have planned. Waited 2 days for a response from their clearly outsourced customer service (responded at 11 pm pacific time) by “Aljan“ only to have him regurgitate back to me what I wrote in about and offering the solution to “look around and see if you see the package.” Completely discounting what I mentioned about the disconnect between the website and the claimed Delivery confirmation. Now I’m on day 4 passed expected delivery. No response or resolution from the company. No urgency to get this sorted.

Products from this company are GREAT, but the customer service will be sluggish, full of English barrier copy and paste text and agents who don’t really read your issue.

Probably better off buying from
An REI and hoping you never need to contact CS about their claimed lifetime warrantee. And of course, don’t expect to get on the phone with anyone to get resolution. Email only and just hope you get a competent agent.

UPDATE: They got back to me. Only to now claim the package is “waiting for carrier pickup” and provided me a link. When you click on the link, it shows the package is delivered. Customer service rep AGAIN didn’t read my email.

Will be contesting the charge with my Credit Card company since clearly their staff is essentially inept!

Incredibly poor customer service

I order a £300 backpack from peak design over a month ago. After 1 week, no backpack, so I contacted support - and they told me it had been delivered to my address in Singapore. I don't live in Singapore. I live in the UK. The invoice from PeakDesign shows that I do infact live in the UK.

So I keep emailing them, and they provide no resolution, and at times ignore my emails unless I follow up several times. So, as a result of this, I had to open a chargeback with my bank - and after this, they got angry at me and told me they can't help me because I opened a chargeback!

Guys, if you actually helped me in the first place, I wouldn't have needed to open a chargeback. You'd expect from such an expensive and premium brand they'd actually care about their customers, but no.

I love Peak Design's products but my god - this purchasing experience was so poor I think it's put me off ever dealing with this company again.

Amazing Quality!

I had initially ordered the extra small cube. But realized it would most likely not be a perfect fit for me. I was able to cancel and re-order with no hassle at all.
I’m very happy with the quality. I thought it would’ve been slightly more flimsy on the sides. However, the outside and inserts have good sturdiness to them.

I put two peak design anchors on the loops so I can put a strap on it easily.
Because of the flat base, I can have it rest in my lap. (I’m a wheelchair user) it acts like a work bench.

Inside, I just moved one divider and I was able to easily fit my eos RP with RF 70-200 f4L. I still had room for a flash and the fold out picket is great for additional storage.

All in all I’m pumped up. I think
It’s great that they are fair trade certified as well.

PD Travel bag (30L), buyer beware.

Got PD Travel bag (30L), steady usage and shoulder straps are showing age, started pilling and are very thin to the holding, no longer comfortable to wear with weight.

Support indicated, it can’t be serviced or replaced citing wear and tear. So I gotta find something different now, and it won’t be a PD bag.

Item missing from my order still not resolved

I placed an order for packing cubes/raw/set of 3. I received a small and medium packing cube but did not receive the shoe bag. I emailed the company and Mitch has corresponding back-and-forth about the company getting back to me but in five days I haven’t heard from the company not a word. Really frustrating and disappointing.

Racist Warranty Policy

They are doing their warranty not as good as in the past. I heard good praise for their customer service a few years back. Now their warranty is borderline racist against ASEAN countries with their new policy. And what's worse is you get hit by the policy despite having your product a while back.
