With Peak Design I have made the worst Kickstarter experience ever. When the reward finally arrived after some delay over a week ago, it did not contain all the items I had completely paid for. They have been since ghosting me and have not replied to any of my emails, for over a week now. While I understand that this might be a busy time for their customer service, they should have seen this coming after a bumpy campaign and be prepared. I would not recommend to anyone making a pledge for any of their Kickstarter campaigns.

Purchased a camera sling bag from Peak Design (UK) in Sept 2025. I was not happy with the fabric finish of the bag and spoke to PD customer service and they agreed I should return as faulty, but under the 30day return policy. Returned the bag to their uk return address (at my own expense) and never heard from them re receipt of delivery or a refund. My delivery co sent a proof of delivery photo which seemed to show an unmanned pile of customer returns in a big pile on the floor with no one present, not sure if this is telling? I have had to go through my bank re a refund as over a month later I have heard nothing from PD design despite sending several emails. Won’t use this co again which is a shame as I did like their products previously. Buyer beware.

Products are good but service is really bad, I am a business registered in the Netherlands, products seemed to be shipped from the US so as per legislation, tax exempted. But despite my attempt to get the correct information, which I did not since their suppoort is uselless, tax were charged, and because they are lazy to process this, they just charge US tax on EU client, which cannot be claimed back, this put an unjustified extra charge, which is hundreds of euros on the client, just because they would not bother, they sdo not reply , I am very disatisfied

My support was amazing and they really believe in their products.

As always, Peak Design products and customer support are top quality.

I purchased the everyday iPhone case about 20 months ago. Immediately upon receipt (20 months ago) I reported to Peak Design that I had not received a QR code and could not register the case on Peak Design‘s website. Two months ago the seams of the case disintegrated. About two weeks ago I finally contacted Peak Design who told me over and over again I needed to register the case on their website and when I told them that I had technical problems registering the case Peak Design did not accept that and pushed me back to trying to register the serial number of the case. After quite a few times back-and-forth I told them I was a longstanding good customer of Peak Design products and I wasn’t a stray dog looking for handouts and stop treating me like that, I finally got Peak Design’s attention. My customer experience with Peak Design was more than disappointing — a brand I have trusted for many years — and I have many of their products, without ever having filed a warranty claim — made me jump through hoops many times before honoring their life time guarantee for a €25 phone case, even though I had purchased the case off Peak Design’s website and had let them know immediately after purchase I was unable to register the product (no response from Peak Design). Low and behold if one of the backpacks fails. This has left a lasting bad impression with me and will influence future purchasing decisions.

Peak Design makes well thought-through products at reasonable prices, backed by great warranty and great customer service.

This is about the Peak Design Chatbot. Peak Design has a brand, image and message of its humanity. You can see it in their training videos, you can read it in product descriptions and even in the emails.

But if you need to "Chat with Us," you get the same stonewall everyone else is shoving down your throat. You have to deal with an undisclosed Artificial Idiot. It's a complete waste of your own time to try and outguess what the Artificial Idiot is programmed to do so that you can eventually get to a human. The Peak Design Artificial Idiot is capable of doing what we had on dial telephones: "Dial 1 for sales; Dial 2 for service; Dial 3 for order information." Yeah, that's right, the Peak Design Artificial Idiot is about advanced as calls made in the 1970s.

When I ultimately got to a human, Jackie was efficient, professional, knowledgeable and just what you'd expect from a Peak Design team member.

Too bad the Artificial Idiot runs interference to their branding.

I was one of the first supporters of PD and I bought few bags and accessories on kickstarter. My zipper ripped and PD sent me a new bag after so many years. I appreciate the company and the product a lot.

Team is really helpful, professional and the their warranty policies are on-point.

Peak Design has excellent products and incredible customer service. Very easy to change or cancel an online order as long as it’s done within the hour. According to Peak Design “It's a special time in the life of an order that we call 'The Great In-Between'”.

The promise to customers is true , and the reality is

I received my 30L Peak design backpack about a month ago and have used it everyday since. I use it for work daily, take it on travel adventures, big and small. I use it while at the golf course or simply when taking a short commute. It holds all my essential belongings and is exactly what i need out a bag. I do not love the magnetic pouch on the front facing the bottom, but I just store a rag and extra change of socks in there that way if they do fall out, it is no loss. Wonderful pack, will certainly continue business with them.

I do love the brand and have like a dozen of bags and other travel gear from them. Love the sustainable ideas behind them and the level of detail they add to EDC bags and travel ones.After a week or two struggling about a warranty claim on a backpackwith having to deal with many different people, send various emails, proofing of purchase, etc., someone very efficient took over and settled the issue in one day, on a sunday ! So now that I'm sure that their international warranty really works, I can get even more gear ! Keep on the good work ! (and I love your videos too !).

PeakDesign was quick to replace a case that (rarely) had a small defect.
Since they are backing products with good and prompt warranty, I am 100% happy.
I will continue buying more of Peak Design's products and recommend them.

Must be a shady company. First visit on the website you get scammed to get your data for a discount. Without giving you further Informationen you'll be promised to get a "mistery discount" when you give them your Email adress (of course it's for their newsletter). HOWEVER after you've done that, you'll get asked to give them your phone number to REALLY get the discount.
A company with shady behaviour like this can't be very trustworthy. Won't buy anything there

You cannot beat the warranty given by Peak Design. Peace of mind for the future.
