I recently had a highly unsatisfactory experience with Pedestal. I placed an order worth €600 for a selection of their products, expecting quality and completeness given the substantial cost. However, the experience fell far short of expectations.

Firstly, the items arrived incomplete. The essential screws needed to securely assemble the products were missing, resulting in my PS5 standing precariously and my Sonos Beam 2 awkwardly positioned on a stand. This not only compromises the functionality of the products but also raises concerns about their safety and stability. For such a high price, I anticipated a much higher standard of quality and attention to detail.

Furthermore, I reached out to Pedestal via email to address these issues and inquire about the arrival of specific colors that were promised. Unfortunately, my attempts to get a response were met with complete silence. This lack of customer service is particularly disappointing, as effective communication is crucial when resolving issues related to a significant purchase.

To add to my frustration, the delivery process through FedEx was also problematic. The entire experience was marred by delays and inefficiencies, compounding my dissatisfaction with Pedestal’s service.

In summary, the combination of incomplete products, poor customer service, and a problematic delivery process has left me extremely disappointed. Given the premium price of their offerings, I expected a much more seamless and high-quality experience. I hope Pedestal takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure that future customers do not encounter similar issues.

I do like the results but mounting the tv was a nightmare, at least for me, I bought the “straight rolling” tv stand. The package was damaged during shipping so that the stand was sticking out, luckily the driver must have been careful with it because the paint wasn’t damaged so that’s good. Assembling the stand were no bigger problem but when it came to mounting the tv I lost my personality for a bit. I don’t have anyone who can help at the moment so I had to do this by myself. I recommend you to use two friends if you want to try. They recommend that you lay the tv flat, but that means that you somehow have to hold the stand vertically in the air, have in mind that it wheys about 10kg at the same time you have to hit 4 screws at the same time with two spacers on each screw which falls off since we are vertical and these are placed behind a steel ledge so you can’t access these easily and at the same time you have to fine adjust the stand because it can be crocked just enough for the screws not to hit. My solution was to put the table stand on the tv place the tv upright on a table so that I don’t have to hold the stand in the air vertically and so that the spacers don’t fall off and build piles of paperboard to place the stand on which took more than a while to make into the perfect height, a after thought was that the screws felt a little bit long, there are no instructions on what screws to use, this I can’t blame pedestal for I guess but would be a nice touch with some tips since my tv manual only states screw m6 not which length, I read that using to long screws can damage your tv, I used the shortest ones and the tv still works so I guess it worked, removing one to control the screw length would mean do it all over again, included screw lengths are not documented. I’m happy with the results but if I knew how hard this would be I would have looked for something else. In my mind there should be a smaller detail that you screw into the tv that makes you able to hang the tv on the heavy stand for you then to be able to screw, pedestal, I have not patented this idea. Umanerligt klodset design og finish - tv’et sidder alt for højt og stativet rager knap 40 cm ud fra væggen. Udsigten til bagsiden af et TV er ikke det kønneste syn. Det skæmmer min stuen og bliver fjernet. Jeg købte et Straight Rollin’ TV bord hos Pedestal forleden og var hurtig - lidt for hurtig til at tage det i anvendelse. Emballagen blev ødelagt og nu hænger jeg på det. Så køb ikke på nettet. Gå i butikken og se design og størrelse tæt på før I køber. Det er jo ikke helt billigt.

Jeg købte en Pedestal Straight Rollin' med en række tilbehør igennem Andlight.
Selvom tv-standeren er i et tungt, lækkert og robust materiale, føles den færdigbyggede stander mærkeligt nok en smule ustabil. Det er svært at montere fjernsynet, som også er svært at få i vatter. Med en salgspris på 2300,-, forventede jeg at det bare fungerede. Det gør det ikke.
Derudover købte jeg en PS5-holder med, hvor det viser sig efter montering, at konsollen rager op over fjernsynet. Jeg har et VESA-kompatibelt Samsung tv, så jeg forventede fuldt ud, at holderen ville skjule konsollen, akkurat som den gør det på produktbillederne, hvor der ser ud til at være brugt en lignende Pedestal stander og Samsung fjernsyn.

Super smukt produkt, super skuffende oplevelse.

Tak for svaret. Jeg har fulgt anvisningerne og brugt alle bolte, så jeg tænker at produktet er som det er. Men nu var det ikke kun ustabiliteten det handlede om - men også PS5-holderen. Måske tager jeg fejl, men jeg forestiller mig ikke det er meningen, at konsollen skal være synlig over fjernsynet. I så fald savner jeg en disclaimer eller et mere retvisende billede af produktet.

Jeg har købt et Straight Rollin' med tilhørende soundbar-holder, playstation-hylde, knage til min controller og knage til kabler..

Høj kvalitet af både metal, hjul, skruer, møtrikker og instruktion gjorde det let at samle og mit Sony Bravia (Oled) bliver fremover nemt at flytte rundt, når der skal ses Tour de France og OL.

God kundeservices på telefon og e-mail, da jeg slutteligt havde spørgsmål til stabiliteten.

Jeg har ikke købt mine Pedestalprodukter gennem deres egen hjemmeside, men vil dog anmelde selve produktet.
Produktet (Moon Rolling i krom) matcher beskrivelse både på udseende og funktion - det er lige til at samle :-)

To get started: Pedestal offers a beautiful product, the presentation on the site is great, almost too many variations and choices which makes it difficult to choose.

The first contact by e-mail with a question about the compatibility with my tv was a friendly and satisfying experience. Finally I decided to order ‘Straight Tall Stand’ plus the ‘Plate Shelf’ (12-05-24), being aware of the return policy, that I would have to pay the shipping costs. But hey, it couldn’t be so bad, since I had to pay only € 15 for the delivery (now the site says free delivery above € 400). During the purchasing process the promised free ‘Cable Ties’ unfortunately disappeared from the shopping basket and I could NOT re-add them.
The delivery of the two packages via FedEx went smoothly.

When opening the box of the stand I was immediately confronted with the question "are you a keeper?” being printed on a warning sign, with the suggestion that I shouldn’t unpack the product if not entirely sure about the acquisition due to maybe causing bumps and scratches. But how can I be sure when I can’t see and feel the complete item? So I started to doubt and thought that I might have better ordered the lower version of the stand. So I paused the unboxing process and did some research on the shipping costs back to Denmark.

The standard shipping costs with PostNL from the Netherlands are not low but acceptable, unfortunately the Pedestal packages are 2.5 cm too long and would not be accepted. So I checked out FedEx where the pricing for shipping the heavy packages varied between €100 and € 300. Besides that it’s a struggle to find out about the actual weight of the product, the amounts on the FedEx labels were unclear and the weight of the shelf cannot be found on the website, returning 2 packages makes the process even more complicated.
Realization: It is in fact impossible to return the product without loosing a lot of money if not throwing away the total purchase amount. So I decided to unpack and install and resell if not satisfied.

Again: the quality of the design and materials are great, including the design of the manual and packaging, but during the unboxing process the really bad conditions of the return policy kept bothering me.
About the instructions: The mounting of the screen as the most crucial part could be explained much better since there are many combinations of screws and spacers possible, and if the screw that goes into the tv is too long it can leed to serious damage. Some extra illustrated examples would be helpful. Be also aware that the construction can block input/output ports, in my case hdmi and digital sound.

Another thing that bothered me was that I kept getting e-mails reminding me to buy a tv-stand since I had already bought one. And today (31-05-24) I got actually VERY angry after receiving a mail telling me that all tv-stands are now for sale with a 50% discount, and the call for action saying hurry up “voordat ze voorgoed weg zijn/before they are gone for good” maybe not the best translation suggesting that the collection won’t be available any more after the sale.

Conclusion:
- Great product, but think very well about your choice since return is not possible.
- Return policy needs to be adjusted.
- Communication after sale is a disaster.

Meanwhile, I was also in direct contact with Pedestal's customer service and received an immediate friendly and professional response.

The above points have been heard and will be used to improve the shopping experience in the future.

Jeg bestilte en tv-stander fra Pedestal, og to dage efter var den leveret på mit dørtrin.

Jeg valgte Moon Rollin' i chrome, og den er 1:1 som forventet og passer perfekt ind i stuen.

Både design, kvalitet, levering og kundeservice er i min optik længder foran konkurrenterne. Derfor vender jeg stensikkert tilbage til Pedestal i fremtiden!

Jeg har købt flere ting fra Pedestal de seneste par år, og jeg er enormt begejstret for alt lige fra kundeservice og den ekstremt gennemførte indpakning til det færdige produkt.

Min kæreste har sjældent kigget så lystig på mig, som da hun opdagede, at der fulgte en magnet med TV-standeren til at holde styr på ledninger. Det skulle da lige være, da jeg introducerede hende for Playstation-holderen, så konsollen kan gemmes væk bag på tv’et. Genialt!

Jeg glæder mig til mit næste køb hos Pedestal

Jeg har i lang tid haft mit tv til at stå på en tv bænk, da jeg ikke har kunnet finde en pæn stander til mit tv. Med min nye tv - stander fra Pedestal har jeg både fået et kvalitetsprodukt samt et utrolig smukt design og tilmed til rimelige penge. Den magnetiske stikdåse der passer dertil er bare genial.
Levering og kundebetjening har været upåklagelig.

Nice design but mounting the legs broke the screen of my TV :( I was very careful and mounted the legs while having the TV on a soft surface but after turning the TV on again, the screen has stopped working. The TV is quite new so wasn't planning on replacing it anytime soon

So giga sexy Mehrfachsteckerdose like actually sleek and pwetty design I love it but I have the one attached to a cable and I want the port available in translucent too. I swear I’ve been looking since forever for a multiple plug that isn’t offensive

Pænt design, inkompetent og useriøs kundeservice.
Vi bestilte tilbage i 27. december 2023 et stativ med en hylde.
Hylden kommer med en transportskade og jeg skriver en mail til dem.
De svarer aldrig. Så jeg prøver via formularen på deres hjemmeside, der er hul igennem og en medarbejder svarer at de sender en ny med en returlabel til den med skade.
Den dukker aldrig op, så jeg skriver og har stadigvæk intet hørt og må nu bare kigge på en hylde med et grimt hak, hver dag.

Øv for en virksomhed! Pænt produkt, men jeg ville aldrig anbefale nogen at handle hos dem direkte. Jeg håber sandelig ikke at der er andet det går i udu, så jeg skal slæbes med den virksomhed.

Go’ gammeldaws sovjetisk kundeservice. Vælger levering hjem til (bor på landet), men GLS meddeler, at pakken bliver leveret til en pakkeshop i den modsatte ende af kommunen (11 km, 15m kørsel væk i retning af absolut ingenting). “Du må have valgt forkert” ræsonnerede den unge “service”-medarbejder, da jeg ringede ind. Men jeg kunne da lade den ligge i 8 dage og betale Pedestal en dummebøde på 150 kroner, så ville de sende igen. Tak for kaffe, og her gik jeg fint og levede med selv at måtte købe manglende møtrikker til de soundbar-beslag, jeg købte til vores første stativ. Det her er en virksomhed, som vil fremstå hip og markedsfører sig lækkert - men kvalitetskontrol og service synes mere inspireret af en sovjetisk 5-års plan fra 1970 end en moderne virksomhed. Jeg kommer ikke til at anbefale jer til flere.

Eine Schraube hat gefehlt. Auf die Bitte diese nachzuliefern wurde nicht reagiert. War nicht so leicht diese dann in schwarz selbst zu besorgen. Das Gestell ist etwas wackelig. Ich hoffe es wird den Fernseher auf Dauer halten. Wenn man daran jedoch zweifelt hat man es sowieso schon aufgebaut und kriegt bei einer Retoure nur noch 50% des Kaufpreises erstattet.
Bin nicht so überzeugt aber werde es jetzt behalten und wahrscheinlich noch ein paar überteuerte Blechteile als Zubehör bestellen.

REDIGERET ANMELDELSE.

Vi købte en Straight Rollin for et år siden knap og har måtte efterspænde det 4 gange. Det lyder måske ikke af meget, men det er meget besværligt, da man skal ha det hele skilt fra hinanden før man kan komme til de møtrikker der løsner sig som dagene går.

Jeg fatter ikke de ikke har valgt at sende selvspændende møtrikker med i stedet for helt standard møtrikker, som man ved løsner sig ved brug. Designet derimod er vi vilde med og elskede ideen om ikke at skulle hænge det op på væggen.

Vi er dog langt fra de eneste med dette problem. Flere i vennekredsen oplever det samme og et par har tilmed fået smadret deres tv fordi det pludselig faldt af stativet.

Købt i maj 2022.

Gav oprindeligt 2 stjerner grundet den rimelig kritiske problematik med møtrikkerne der konstant blev løse.

Efter kontakt med kundeservice, blev der fremsendt de nødvendige møtrikker, som kunne holde sig spændte og nu virker produktet meget bedre. Håber de tilføjer det fremtidige produkter fremover.

The stand looks nice and is very stable. I got mine in black, unfortunately the paintjob on the black screws is bad. so it is on the brackets for the soundbar (for 50€!). The paintjob on the stand is great. overall the quality doesnt match the high price. still its a good product and worth to purchase, because there is nothing alike.

Pakken kom hurtigt. Den var TUNG, så godt at jeg havde transportmulighed.
