I would advise against booking through Provence Holidays without a trusted inspection of the property first. The photos and descriptions are embeleshed.
I strongly advise against booking through Provence Holidays. The company is ethically challenged and deeply dishonest. When we arrived at the home we had booked, we found it unacceptable and did not meet the advertised standards. A short list of the problems included rodent droppings on the floors, unclean bedding, cobwebs throughout the house, and a wasp infestation. It also had no climate control, which made Summertime temps inside the house reach nearly 80 degrees. It was not habitable, much less a "Luxury Villa." We had to find an alternative place to stay for our time in Provence at great expense and stress. After all this, they refused any sort of refund, claiming that such a refund occurs at the sole discretion of the homeowner, who, of course, refused to return any portion of our money. They essentially stole thousands of dollars from us. If you do book with PH, ask for an inspection of the home before and a guarantee of a refund if the standards are not met. This is all standard policy with most vacation rental companies these days. Provence Holidays needs to do better.

We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We would like to clarify a few important points however. The villa you booked was clearly listed as not having air conditioning, and this information was stated transparently in the property description.
Upon your arrival, you contacted us regarding concerns about insects and cleaning. Our team immediately offered to intervene and resolve any issues, but unfortunately, you chose to leave the property without informing us or giving us the opportunity to take action.
You initiated a chargeback request with your bank. After reviewing all documentation, the bank concluded that we had fully complied with our obligations, and therefore declined the refund of your request.
During your stay in June, we also extended a gesture of goodwill to compensate for any inconvenience, which you declined at the time. It is disappointing to see that, months later, the situation is being revisited publicly in the form of threats and negative reviews.
We take all guest feedback seriously and remain committed to providing accurate listings, responsive assistance, and quality service.
Should you wish to discuss the matter further in a constructive manner, we remain available.

Our stay at Les Olivier (Le Petit Hameau) was stellar. The villa was wonderfully equipped, each bedroom suite was perfect for our group of five couples and the amenities exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Provence!

Amazing week in Provence at Mas Edem
We had an amazing week in Provence at Mas Edem - 20 friends and family staying in this magical place. Provence Holidays concierges were responsive and helpful with organising the house as well as some unforgettable experiences - a wine tour in the Chateauneuf de Pape area (with Frederic from Provence Panorama); an amazing catered lunch from Veronique Pardo and a cooking class with Olivier Bergeron. The team who looked after us at the house were amazing and incredibly helpful in so many little ways. Fantastic experience - could not recommend more highly!

A wonderful stay
Our family of 10 spent a delightful week in the Mas de l’Est. The house and grounds are beautiful with easy access to shops in neighboring villages. The kitchen is well appointed and the living spaces easily accommodate all the guests. Bedrooms and their private baths are very nice.
The staff at Provence Holidays was wonderful, very helpful and professional. Made the reservation process extremely easy.
We had a small issue with one of the showers and our contact person Pascal, was able to promptly remedy the situation.
Our family members, young and old, had a great time playing darts, and ping-pong in the game area. Even the pretty pool was put to good use!
Can’t wait to come back for another stay !

Perfect house in Goult
The house in Goult was absolutely delightful, with a stunning view over the valley. Gorgeous interior, only made better by the ringing of the church bells. Great outdoor space. Goult is a perfect village, and being able to walk to restaurants and the market was such a delight. FYI, the streets of the town are very very narrow, so if you want to park a car at the house, keep that in mind.

Heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk maar…
Heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk maar iets te opdringerig commercieel. Nauwelijks de tijd om het voorschot te betalen en daarna amper 2 dagen de tijd om het contract te tekenen. Zijn op reis en is moeilijk om alles op tijd te regelen. Buiten dit werden we uitstekend geholpen tijdens het voortraject!

This is the third year we have rented homes from Provence Holidays. The quality of the homes have been superb. Provence Holidays makes renting in Provence easy. We wish they had rentals in other parts of France.

The villa is lovely and beautifully…
The villa is lovely and beautifully furnished . The grounds and pool also beautifully done with sun all day but some shade . It is right in the heart of a lovely village with friendly locals . The bakery does lunches and a separate bar and gelato but shuts at 7 pm . The bistro and hotel serve food and drinks but in October , when we were there were a bit erratic , very French ! Jacques the owner was extraordinarily helpful , thank you !!
