Exorbitant interest

My Dad used this service to release £35,000, he’s sadly now passed away and I’m dealing with his estate. The amount due to repay now stands at an eye watering £120,000! The balance increases by approximately £700 per month. I urge anyone considering this service to look in to in throughly, the interest is exorbitant, license to print money.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and we’re very sorry to hear about your loss. We appreciate this must be a difficult time, and that dealing with financial matters can add further stress.

We understand your concern regarding the loan balance. Lifetime mortgages are long-term products with no required monthly repayments, so interest accrues over time and compounds. This can lead to the balance increasing, particularly over a longer period.

At the outset, these features and their potential impact over time should be explained by a qualified financial adviser, along with whether the product is suitable for individual circumstances.

The process of borrowing more funds from my drawdown reserve was fully explained to me and the required amount was paid into my account within two weeks of my application.

Drawdown fund request

The request I made for drawdown funds proceeded without a glitch. It did take a bit longer than I anticipated but in retrospect I feel the security was solid which I like. All round good job.

Pure Retirement are experts in their field, the services they offer are excellent and their staff are extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly without being pressuring. Highly recommended.

I have used them before,they are friendly,this time it was all done over the phone,rang me on the day and the time they said,always asked for security questions to make sure they were talking to the right person,nothing was too much trouble,explain everything that was going on.and what forms you would receive in the post.
