Make sure you really want what you order!

Make sure you really want what you order, otherwise you’ll be out of pocket when it comes to returns.
I placed an order for four t-shirts, two for me, and two for my partner. As with any online order, it a non-tactile experience and you’re purchasing purely based upon the imagine and a size guide, which as we all know rarely give you any idea of the actual product fit. This order had t-shirts in different colours and sizes, and the plan was to return what wasn’t suitable.
Now here’s the fun part…. You place an order for multiple items, which is processed as one order, but if you return multiple items from said order each item is handled separately. R.A.D charges a £4.99 restocking fee, so if you return multiple items you pay a £4.99 restocking fee for EACH ITEM!!
The returns policy does say that there is a restocking fee, but at the time of writing this, it states nowhere that it’s for each individual item.
I’ve bought a fair amount from R.A.D since they first launched, but I won’t be buying from them going forward.

As durable as a piece of feta cheese

Received the RAD ON.3 CrossFit trainer as a gift, a month into use the mesh ripped from only light indoor exercise, the rips just got bigger and bigger and now are unwearable. All I’ve done in them is normal light gym work. Very disappointing as they are comfortable and the sole is great quality. However, I cannot recommend as they are about as durable as piece of feta cheese.

Unfortunately, there support team didn’t help me, as I’d have happily taken a replacement as these must be faulty.

My new favorite shoes and company

I took a chance on buying my first pair of Rad 1 last year after good feedback from folks at my gym. While I wasn’t sure what to expect I was completely blown away that I ended up winning one of their cool giveaways by just being sent two different mismatched shoes. Since then I’ve snagged a few more pairs and love the way they feel on my feet and how stable they are for CrossFit. They have turned into my daily shoes. Love that this company’s presence is only growing in the CrossFit space. Great company, great products and great customer support! I believe in being very brand loyal when I love a product and a company and Rad definitely found a fan in me!

1 star is to good for this shoddy…

Now updated as promised to 4 stars because R.A.D have finally decided to stand by their product and send me a new pair of trainers. Thank you very much.

1 star is to good for this shoddy business with appalling customer service and even more appalling manufacturing. Brand new pair of R-1, straight out of the box, never even on my feet and the sole is falling off. After a bit of googling, it seems their manufacturing is extremely poor and they produce a lot of defective footwear. Don't believe all their hype, still as cheap as possible made in China rubbish. All they care about is their stupid marketing campaigns and the money. So now I'm left with a worthless pair of rubbish only fit for the bin as they are not man enough to stand by their own stuff and cover warranty work for their own mistakes. Once they have your money, basically it's f off. No exchange, refund or repair but said I could get them repaired myself at my own expense. Don't even abide by consumer legislation in the country they supply their products to. Another lowlife company who really doesn't give a damn about their customers. Just overpriced, extremely bad quality and appalling defective manufacturing. Walk away. Don't give them a single penny. And dont be a sheeple, don't follow the pack. . Far better brands out there who do value their customers. Businesses like this deserve to go under. I will be reporting them for illegally denying a warranty claim on new unused footwear. Thieves and liars comes to mind.

Update to their response. Several emails have went back and forth and no resolution was given other than repair them myself at my own cost!

Update to their response. Proof that customer service is not paramount to this company and that they don't want to stand by their product. Plus they broke data protection laws by wanting the name and address of the person who bought them for me, someone who works in policing, which they were informed of. Neither do I have a brass neck to go and tell the person sorry you bought me fauly trainers at xmas, embarrassing
both of us over a gift given with generosity. Nor did they deny that they have a serious amount of faulty manufacturing problems. Indeed they were forced to do recalls. Plus for all their mantra on environment.....here's another pair of trainers to join the rubbish mountains. Beware, there are reasons why they have so many poor reviews.

Amazing Customer Service

After having a great initial experience with my Rad shoes, unfortunately I had an issue with a pair I purchased last year! I wrote to the customer service seeing if they could help as the shoes were less than a year old. Something similar had happened with Nike metcons I bought but their customer service was not helpful and disregarded the shoe fault completely even though they were within warranty.

The customer service team got back to me within a day and without hesitation were happy to replace the shoes free of charge and I didn't need to send the old ones back! The shoes arrived within a week of the initial mail I sent (I live in Canada).

Not only was the shipment so quick but the person I was dealing with (Anastasia) was very polite, extremely helpful and did not push back or disregard my issue!

These days I find it quite difficult to get customer service that helpful and reciprocating to an issue with a product. No wonder you have grown such a huge fan base and I will continue to support Rad as a brand whilst I do crossfit!

Lastly, although I had an issue with my shoes, these are by far the most comfy and sturdy crossfit shoe I have worn. Finally there is a crossfit shoe that can be used for running workouts without being too flat!

Keep up the amazing work Rad Global!!!!

If I could give this company a zero I…

If I could give this company a zero I would. I ordered 2 Christmas presents for my son in November (today is December 19th) and it said on 12/1 it shipped. When you track the shipping, only a label was created but FedEx never received the package. I have emailed them 6-7 times and they keep saying they will check on it. I have asked for a refund so I can buy him something else and they won't refund me. Terrible customer service and I think it might be a scam!!!

Superb service

Brilliant service. Received items very quickly after ordering. I had to make a return and also make contact with a query. Communication was excellent and efficient. Great trainers too!

Waste of time

I would give them a zero if I could. Their buying experience is horrible, you cannot get anything. This is the second launch where I attempted to purchase some shoes. Everything was crazy from selecting a size adding it to your cart putting your info in and putting your credit card info in and when you finalize the purchase it kicks it back and tells you sold out. All in like 20 or 30 sec. Freaking horrible and they have the nerves to say they use the same shopping cart system than Nike or nobull. No you don't, I buy shoes from Nike all the time and my purchases are secured during the process. I am done with them, many other options out there

Black Friday Event

Black Friday event. They wanted to do something different and make it available to all europe but in the mean time penalised their UK customers. They made me pay £30 for delivery which wasn’t even express (3 weeks) then I had to pay and extra £47 in customs charges because they were shipped from Spain. I tried to speak with RAD and they was so rude and unapologetic. I tried to be nice and calm as these pair or trainers now cost me £220. She just spouted company jargon at me and was very condescending. I will

RAD has top-tier customer service. Quick to respond. Friendly. And extremely accommodating. No questions asked.

If you're looking for a new kick that is as premium as the team behind it - then definitely check RAD out.
