It's great to be able to save more on eligible purchases going through Rakuten. Notification emails are received letting you know when you receive your rebate.

Been using this app for a few years now and have no issues so far. The cash back is real and consistent. Although Rakuten does take out some stores from time to time, their coverage of stores (now including gift cards) make online shopping a fun and “rewarding” experience.

I love this program but it's frustrating when all of the items you purchase are not included in the calculation

Sometimes seems like a scam. Usually, I get the money back that they promise, but they have multiple times rejected my claim stating I did something wrong. Ever since the first time that happened I have been extremely careful, following all the instructions to get my cashback, and even document including screenshotting multiple times the image indicating that the multiplier is activated. I now have to keep an excel sheet of my purchases and dates and a folder of screenshots so that I can follow up on them. Only to have large purchases rejected despite submitting screenshots indicating the offer is active. This takes so much work to keep track of and continually email them back. May not be worth my time anymore and I can use other portals that don't give me such a hard time.

Used to be amazing. Lately I have been following up with cashback so often - especially HP that they say they will give me a certain percentage - then comes time for payout and it is significantly less. I have forgone following up. You have to take a screen shot of the offer so they dont later try to claim they reduce it. I have been a member since 2015. Further, sometimes I notice that they adjust with out telling you - either no cashback or a lesser percentage. Always double check... there are better cashback websites.

Made a mistake inputting a subtotal due to U.S. vs CA currency confusion on my part and needed my account corrected. Jennifer from their Member Services team was so helpful, thorough and quick in resolving the issue. As a new Rakuten member, I was really impressed by the customer service being so responsive, quick and effective. Top notch customer service.

It's such a simple way to save a little extra money when purchasing online! I often check which companies are affiliated with Rakuten before ordering. It definitely makes a difference with which companies I choose to purchase from.

Easy to use, and who doesn't like cash back. A few of the stores I have had issues buying with them on the app lately which is annoying but not sure id a vendor or Rakuten issue

I appreciate the quality of some of the stores. The percentage of returns is typically very good, and the direct payments are always on time.

Kept updated on new promotions and increased cash backs. Great with adding new clients to the program.

Always get the rebate advertised. Rakuten also made my rebate easy when I thought I was logged in, but did not see the rebate at the end of the transaction. Easy process to show proof of purchase and get rebate.

still dont know what happened to that money

Love getting money back for purchases I would have made anyway. Wish I didn’t need to remember a pin for my not so auto deposit.
