Product was a cheap flimsy shelving unit. Made of a cheap alloy. It was claimed on the website that it was steel (well, there are different grades I guess) and that it could support 70Kgs per shelf.... Ver mais

This product is not fit for purpose
This product is not fit for purpose. Despite following your somewhat brief instructions trying to get the stands to connect properly to the shelves was almost impossible. It took two intelligent adults an entire day to erect two of the three units and even then not all shelves have secured properly. If I’d realised how these units went together I would not have bought them

Nothing went right...they tried to…
Nothing went right...they tried to deliver a pallet from a lorry without a forklift so, as we didn't have one, it wasn't unloaded. When it did arrive on the intended day, the shelves were chipped and the melamine didn't cover the edges, just the top and bottom. In addition, the uprights were missing so impossible to assemble. Will be asking them to pick up and refund.

Ordered two weeks prior to delivery…
Ordered two weeks prior to delivery then on the day advised delivery not happening due to missing the lorry!
Flooring ordered didn’t arrive next day as part of the order. Advised no longer available and after week on we still chasing the refund. All in all not a great experience.

Unfortunately, we experienced unexpected issues with the carrier on this occasion which in turn, caused a delay in your delivery. We are pleased we were able to get the goods delivered to you the following day.
With regards to the flooring, this was showing as available on the website but in fact, was no longer an available to purchase. We have ensured this has now been removed from the website to avoid any further issues for our customers.
I completely appreciate your frustration with this order and i sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.
Our Finance Team have tried to make contact to arrange your refund but were unable to reach you. They will continue to try so we can get this matter resolved for you.

Racking is great
Racking is great, deliver driver did not have the kit to unload to we had to do it ourself also one of the racks was missing the plastic feet, apart from that. All ok.

Scotland NOT part of the UK!
According to this company Central Scotland is NOT part of the United Kingdom!
Could not place my order online so I called them and was then told Scotland is not part of the UK so I have to pay an extra carriage charge.
Now I completely understand this if its going to the Highlands or Islands, However, Fife is central Scotland and I have never had this from any other company before.
The lass on the phone was very dismissive of the fact that she was dismissing a whole country and just kept blaming the courier company - here's an idea, get a better courier!
Will NOT be using this company again.

I am very sorry you were advised that Scotland isn't considered Mainland UK, this is of course incorrect, and we have taken steps to ensure the correct messaging is provided to customers in future.
To be clear, we deliver to England and Wales with a standard delivery charge, anything outside of this area will require an independent delivery quote.

Raid Racking product is very good.
Raid Racking product is very good.. however the transportation was a nightmare.. did not show up when stated, carrier claimed I had rejected it as damaged when it never even got to me.. then tried to deliver it the next day when no one was on.. Rapid send another which arrived a day later than agreed and was slightly damaged.. but not damaged enough to be bothered to engage with the carrier again for return…. A great product let down massively by very very poor delivery experience.

Do not use this company
Do not use this company; it is unreliable and untrustworthy. I wasted 2 whole days waiting for the delivery to arrive. I had to chase them for the update for both days. They work with a delivery company that you can not get in touch with and enquire about any updates. I have no confidence in either company to fulfil an order.

I’ve ordered from Rapid Racking…
I’ve ordered from Rapid Racking numerous times over the last 10 years and just recently ordering racking for a new warehouse I was surprised to see the end panels now as a flat pack and no longer pre-assembled as before, this was not brought to my attention upon ordering which was very disappointing, we also received an email confirmation date for delivery to which it didn’t turn up and we was duly notified later in the day that the email was sent by mistake after us having to call to chase up the delivery time, I had a team waiting to unload/assemble the racking to which I had to pay them for the day which came out’ve my pocket, all in all not very impressed with the service of Rapid Racking in this instance and will shop around for the next phase of our planned works.

How to find us your first driver gave up at the first hurdle and gave a weak bridge as the excuse for aborting the delivery there is a low bridge but no weak bridges 2nd driver no problems
The first attempted delivery was not good, had the driver have an HGV license did he know what a map is? why did he not telephone to ask for guidance
We run several HGVs out of these premises including artic vehicles loaded with heavy plant!

Speedy service, competitive and good quality, sturdy shelving.
Great customer services too - responsive and keen to help. The pallet delivery could have been an issue but helpful delivery driver offloaded for me without issue.
Sadly, the plastic feet were missing from the order but a small thing!
