Schwindelfirma? Es wird ein Preis angegeben. Kaum hat man mit paypal bezahlt, ist plötzlich die Abbuchung um 19% teurer. Ja, man hält es nicht für nötig, darauf hinzuweisen, daß noch die Märchensteuer dazukommt. sowas nenne ich Nepper, Schlepper, Bauernfänger. Nie mehr diese Firma!

Probably the worst company I have used. I can’t believe they can openly allow people to sign up and sell records and openly admit they haven’t sent them and not step in. They forwarded my email and copied me and ask the seller to respond. They admitted they hadn’t sent the item. But nothing has happened. I am contacting U.K. Action Fraud and Trading Standards.

Absolute scam! I purchased two records. After three weeks of not receiving the order, I reached out to the artist as directed but received zero response. I then emailed Bandcamp & zero response. I followed up again, zero response. It's been over a month at this point so next step is to dispute the charge through my bank. STAY AWAY!!!

I love Bandcamp.com, it has been my favorite page for listening to music and finding new exciting artists.
I've been releasing music on bandcamp since 2016 and am happy with the results.
I don't know why it has so many negative reviews on Trustpilot, but I've never had a problem with it in my life.

Very steep prices for mailing from UK artists to UK customers. I’m all for supporting artists but the postage for CD and other merchandise is a rip-off. I understand the postage for US artists. But for UK artists mailing to UK customers the mailing charges can be as high as £ 10. Appalling.

I have been sending e-mail several times since 3 months regarding the amount of connected accounts you can have with one artist profile and no answer until now. I also have albums on my profile that have the credit card payment disabled (no idea how to change that). 3 albums out of more than 120 that cannot be purchased with credit cards (reports from customers). I always loved bandcamp but fact is their customer service has done down drastically and is extremely uneffective. I actually don't know what to do.

Habe zum zweiten Mal eine CD bestellt (und gut bezahlt), aber wieder keine Zusendung erhalten.

I've had a BC account since the beginning. I've made many purchases both digital and physical. I made a pre-order for a CD back in April, and the release date got pushed back to July, but nothing ever came. The label won't respond to messages, and now BC won't respond to messages either. I'll have to initiate a refund though my bank. I won't make a physical purchase again with BC as there is no customer support anymore.

Deleted my account I've had since 2007, for asking them why they banned my friend's parody band bandcamp account. No warning, no email, nothing. Just deleted my entire account and 80 things I've bought over the years.
Username was iswift88 , 88 being the year of my birth, 1988.

They make it just about impossible to close your account and quit paying. There are no links or buttons *anywhere* to do so. Their help menus tell you to go to your account page and click on "cancel subscription", but when you go there, there is no such place to click. They are counting on people to just give up and put it off... and keep paying monthly until they have time to figure it out. Cheap trick. Lower than low.

Impossible to reach customer support, very disappointed. You would expect that a site that big will help you with any problems.... but no!

Even after googling I still can´t find how to open my artist account lol Maybe I am the dumb guy here? I can only compose complicated music....

Sounds like the perfect place for musicians, judging by reviews from artists on this site, it's not.

As a customer it's also a nightmare.

I patiently waited for 3 weeks to receive updates on my order as covid may hold things up. I'm in the UK and so is the artist I bought merch from, so they have no excuse really as pretty much everything else is back to normal speed. Either way I waited for an update which never came. I did the right thing and contacted the artist who haven't replied in over a week, so I then contacted bandcamp asking for a refund as I've still not received the vinyl I paid for. Please note this is a well established artist who's been doing this for a long time, so they should be able to ship a vinyl within 3 weeks of a purchase. This is why monster companies like Amazon are taking over the world, it's because they are efficient. I don't mind waiting, but to be ignored by both artist and site is just rude! I may have to call my bank AGAIN and ask them to do a charge back. It's embarrassing.

So I joined Bandcamp, around 2016 as a label and spent a lot trying to get it to work to no avail and never made any sales until the Pandemic hit when sales where made but no sale was ever paid out.
Trying to contact Bandcamp support has been impossible, they do no respond ever.
They steal the artist money plain and simple.
If you want to sell your music you are better off building a Wordpress website and doing it yourself Bandcamp is by far the most untrustworthy and immoral company I have ever had to deal with.

Do not waste your time or money on these thieves.

Bandcamp has refused to send my payment for more than year now. I have mailed their support more than a dozen times and I have not gotten a single reply. They don't even have a live chat or a phone number to be contacted with. I highly don't recommend this platform to any serious musician, or you will lose your money.
