We're disappointed to receive your one-star review of our service, Janet.

I have reviewed your Reclaimer account and can see that we secured a substantial refund offer for you, which the lender paid directly into your bank account.

As you know, we provide our service on a no-win, no-fee basis. We don't charge a cent to investigate whether banks or lenders sold you junk insurance or to make a refund claim. We only charge a fee when a claim is successful, so there is no risk for our customers when a claim does not result in a refund offer.

We have reminders throughout our communications about our fees, including in the email informing you that we've secured a refund offer. Our fee rate is clearly displayed in various places on our website and is also explained within our Terms and Conditions, which we send to customers who sign up for our service.

Regarding speaking with our team, we generally communicate with our customers by email but are more than happy to pick up the phone if requested.

I've also taken the opportunity to review the emails we've sent you. The interactions I've reviewed are professional and courteous. If you'd like me to check any specific examples, please send them by email to support@reclaimer.com.au.

We've reached out to discuss your comments, and I understand you've asked us to contact you in the new year.

In the meantime, having checked your Reclaimer account, I can see that we secured two full refund offers for you, meaning you got back every cent you had paid for those junk insurance policies.

One refund was paid directly into your bank account, and the lender paid the other to your card account.

As you know, we provide our service on a no-win, no-fee basis. We don't charge a cent to investigate whether banks or lenders sold you junk insurance or to make a refund claim. We only charge a fee when a claim is successful, so there is no risk for our customers when a claim does not result in a refund offer.

We might not always get things right, but our service is certainly not a scam; we strongly disagree with your final remarks. Reclaimer has so far recovered over $2 million in refunds for our customers.

Many of our customers tell us that they didn't even realise their lender had charged them for these junk insurance policies, so they are pleasantly surprised when we secure a refund offer.
