⭐ 1 Star – Booking Denied, Harassment, and No Refund

I had a confirmed booking at The Teadale Vagamon for Sunday, 4 January 2026, and the full amount was paid in advance through RedBus.

When we called the contact number provided, the person who answered (claiming to be the resort owner) spoke rudely and did not help us with the location. After traveling over 220 km by bike, we finally reached the property, only to be told that our confirmed rooms would not be given.

The resort staff demanded that we pay the full amount again to get a room, despite showing proof of full payment and confirmed booking. They refused both accommodation and an immediate refund. Since it was New Year rush and no other rooms were available nearby, we were forced to cancel our trip.

RedBus customer care initially assured me that the refund would be processed. However, even as of today, 15 January 2026, I have not received the refund, despite repeated calls and messages. There is no proper complaint option or visible chat history in the app, making follow-up extremely difficult.

What made the situation worse is that today’s RedBus customer care executive spoke very badly, ridiculed my issue, and used harassing and unprofessional language. This was deeply humiliating and unacceptable.

This experience completely ruined our New Year, caused financial loss, physical exhaustion, and mental distress. Both RedBus and The Teadale Vagamon showed zero accountability and no respect for customers.

I strongly warn others not to trust this resort or rely blindly on RedBus promises. Paying in advance does not guarantee anything here.

Very disappointing. Never again.

My RedBus Experience — Extremely Disappointed with Unfair Cancellation & Price Hike
I booked 12 bus tickets on RedBus for 23rd January from Mumbai to Ujjain.
Original fare was ₹1140 per ticket.
Just 10 days before the journey, I was informed that the operator cancelled our bus and tickets were automatically cancelled.
Now when I try to re-book the same journey, RedBus employees name Rudra Bharti & Chandan Mishra & Rohit is forcing me to pay around ₹1500 more per ticket — that’s ~₹3600 extra I have to pay for the same trip!
This is not just inconvenient — it’s unfair.
There was no proactive solution, no alternate bus offer, no compensation, and no transparent communication from RedBus support. Many customers report similar issues with last-minute cancellations and poor refund/refund delays.
Customers book tickets in advance trusting the platform.
Cancellation should mean:
✔️ Full refund credited quickly
✔️ Or an equivalent alternative bus offered
Instead, I’m being forced to pay higher costs without resolution.
This reflects poor customer service and lack of accountability by the platform and operators.
RedBus needs to:
🔹 Improve timelines
🔹 Provide fair alternatives without extra costs
🔹 Communicate clearly before cancelling tickets
🔹 Take responsibility for customer inconvenience
As a professional traveler and customer, I expect ethical practices and transparency from platforms like RedBus.

We want to travel from Jaipur to Udaipur on 10/01/2026 so through red bus app booked ticket for 3 passengers from Udaipur To Jaipur We want to book Jaipur to Udaipur but by mistakenly booked Udaipur to Jaipur its human error in haste we also admit that its was our mistake. But there was possibility of changing the city because seats and city both were available on the bus and also agree bus travel company to change but they don't have power to change so we wanted to exchange City on ticket by red bus. After many tried and hold for hrs we got connected to customer care and told them that this problem has occurred we request and told Same bus is available on same time in Jaipur pleas help Red bus people have power they could have changed the city because seats were available at that time. for Changed the city to paid extra Rs but After many tried customer care they simply refused to take any action. When contacted the company of travel Bus owner name Shrinath solitare they told tickets were purchased from Red bus contact them. Travel owner talk to me well and help but red bus doesn't. Finally we have travel one day ahead of sch.
Keep watch on such bad practice and report. It's better to go to agent and get proper ticket
Absolutely awful no customer support. There’s no phone number to the red bus app and chat doesn’t work. No one offered support. Disgusting customer service and a terrible experience. Absolutely unacceptable. Book a car or an uber instead of using these companies will save you from the stress of having to deal with them.
It doesn't even deserve 1 rating. This site should have rating in minus. Worst service and they actually don't have any email id so you cannot cannot complaint.

Please share consumer complaint email id so that at least we can complaint.

Regarding refund for bus ticket TV2B78683276 (PNR 12368893)

Hello team,

I'm really disappointed with the service for this time with neugo. i have booked this bus with redbus but the thing is the driver didn't picked me up from the platform. I called him just before 11 am and told him that I'll be coming from lift to the platform. And the bus is in front of me at 11am. But the driver didn't want me to board into the bus. He told me that this is not our bus. I already called him but he didn't even let me to. Also that was a huge amount. I booked 4 ticket worth rupees 3000+ also we were travelling from Neugo from Vrindavan to Delhi and then I booked the same Neugo bus from Delhi to Dehradun. But the driver didn't allowed me to.

When I called after to the conductor of the bus that please wait outside the station we will be coming in 2 minutes he denied at the moment as well.

Really not happy this time with your service.

Please provide me refund it's a huge amount.

SCAMMERS!!

SCAMMERS! Don’t purchase from this company at all. I booked bus tickets from Kasol to Delhi with a confirmed departure time of 8:14 PM, trusting the service promised at the time of booking. However, this journey turned into one of the most frustrating and unacceptable travel experiences I have ever faced.

The driver called us and casually informed that the bus would arrive at 12:00 AM, then disconnected the call and never answered again. We were left stranded without any clarity. We contacted RedBus customer support, where the agent told us to arrange alternative transport ourselves and vaguely mentioned a refund, without providing any assurance or confirmation. At that late hour, alternative travel options were extremely expensive, so we had no choice but to wait.

When the bus finally arrived at 12:00 AM, it was unsafe, especially since girls were traveling with us at night. To make matters worse, the bus was not the one we had booked. It was a completely different, low-class bus named “Raj”, which did not match the service shown on the platform.

Despite paying extra for front seats, the driver shifted us to back seats, and shockingly, one of our friends was not given any seat at all and had to stand throughout the journey. This is unacceptable, humiliating, and a serious safety violation.

We paid a premium price for comfort, safety, and reliability, but received delays, mismanagement, false promises, and mental stress instead. This experience was extremely disappointing and infuriating.

I demanded a full refund for this journey. This level of negligence and disrespect towards customers their customer service showed was shocking. Asked me to wait for 24-48 hours for refund once i did. Then i chased after 3-4 days they said the same to wait. I did again and then after over a month they kept telling me the same until i lashed out because no one was attending me and i don’t think the matter is even getting sorted. They just want me to get tired of chasing for money and then stop demanding refund. I asked the customer service agent what is taking too long he says we cannot connect with the bus driver to confirm the issue. Told him if even after 1 month the bus driver doesn’t respond to them will they never process my refund and he did not answer me he kept saying wait for 24-48 hours more. I asked him a simple question multiple times that there must be a duration for which i will have to wait and then my refund will be processed but no they don’t plan on refunding my money. I spent over 15thousand to 17 thousand and they dont seem to be taking issue seriously and the agent named “CHIRAG” was so unprofessional i don’t even understand how people get jobs like this when they don’t even know how to talk. I have the call recordings and i’m waiting for my money to be refunded still. Still have receive no followup on my case and i’m not going to forget this i will keep chasing until you refund me. I NEED MY MONEY! I dont care that the driver is not responsible i had booked bus tickets from redbus. Redbus took responsibility for my travel i do not care how they deal with the bus services my contract was with redbus. I need my refund!!!!!

No es una empresa seria

No es una empresa seria, contraté un bus con ellos y fui a la ubicación exacta que me enviaron, pero era de una autopista, donde no había parada, no sabía que hacer, ni si quiera los vecinos conocían de esa parada.
Terminé perdiendo el bus, ya que no soy adivino.
No se responsabilizan, Redbus es una buena empresa para videntes y adivinos.

Two bad experiences of red bus

I have used this redBus service twice both the times I have had bad experiences first time from Coimbatore Atp when bus was delayed by almost 2h and the information was at the scheduled departure time by when people have already reached the boarding point and I had to wait with my luggage, in a place where there was nothing to even properly stand and people were staring. But it was day time so somehow I managed.
Second time when I had to take bus from Bangalore to atp it was early morning 04:41. I was trying to reach the driver his number was switched off. I was trying to call customer care and women safety number, they did pick up the call but they had no information and they couldn't help me with anything neither to contact the driver nor to tell me the locality of boarding point safety. I was waiting alone in the highway boarding point for almost an hour or so and when they couldn't give me any alternative services or anything I processed my refund and took normal roadways bus from there. I paid 4 times the normal service amount just to be safe and travel comfortably but I was stuck in such a horrible situation because of redBus. I will never recommend anyone or myself take their service again.

Travelled on 26 Dec 2025 by SBM Bus No. 3339 (Trivandrum–Bangalore). Very pathetic experience. Bus stopped at 2:00 a.m. for over 1.5 hours without explanation. Later passengers were forced to change buses with false information about a technical fault, while the same bus continued with others. We were made to use used bedsheets, pillows, and blankets, which is unhygienic and unethical. Bus reached destination 3 hours late. Totally unacceptable service. Would not recommend.

Red bus cheats along with bus service company

Bus left early and the service company says they left early and shockingly redBus also tells they leave early. Then they fill seats route. Planned transparent organised cheating.
Red bus call centre puts you on hold and you remain there. Call again and they say, they will never cut the line. They are very genuine to say bus company not picking their call.
Then I book again on red bus. The bill is 438 but 740 comes on UPI for approval. I cancel and repeat, it comes as the bill amount. System coded to cheat.

I am David from Tenkasi that's in Tamil Nadu. I have booked my tickets for 3 people for December 27 boarding from Tenkasi enroute to coimbatore for vacation and i have paid online and it's confirmed but i didn't receive any tickets through WhatsApp or through my email and i am unable to view my tickets in redbus app coz I want to cancel my tickets but I don't see my booking history. This is really bad for the company.

I booked this bus based on the pictures…

I booked this bus based on the pictures shown on RedBus, but the actual bus provided was completely different and in very poor condition. The seats were uncomfortable, the interiors were dirty, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I had chosen this service expecting a certain standard, but it did not meet even the basic expectations. I have already requested a refund as per the terms and conditions, and I hope RedBus takes this seriously. Please ensure better verification of listed buses to avoid misleading customers.
