I previously left a review about my experience at a CBT test centre in Barnet on ReviewCentre, but it was removed, which I find concerning.

I have renewed my CBT three times before, and I have never experienced this kind of behaviour. This time, however, my experience was very disappointing. The instructor’s attitude felt unprofessional at times, including inappropriate jokes and what seemed like unnecessary reasons to fail candidates during the assessment.

The overall process felt overly strict and inconsistent with what I have experienced in previous CBT renewals. After reading other reviews, I also noticed similar concerns raised by others, which makes me question the fairness and transparency of the assessment.

Overall, I had a very negative experience with this centre this year, and I hope improvements are made so that future candidates are treated more fairly and professionally.

You can get scammed as well by this RideTo Peace of Mind membership/add-on policy. Please be careful and do your research before purchasing this add-on.

In my experience, it is not reliable. I had a very bad experience with RideTo Peace of Mind.

They may give many reasons to refuse a rebooking, and in my case I was not able to get a rebooking after my CBT training.

Please make sure you read the policy properly before you buy it.

Everything was perfect. The instructor, Oliver Ward, was such a chill guy and a great teacher. All the instructions he gave me were easy to process and he gave me a lot more confidence. Couldn’t have found a better place to be doing the CBT for. I will be recommending it to others who are planning on doing theirs too. Thanks a lot to the company and again to Oliver.

Had a great experience. Instructors were great at teach and very patient with the entire group. Very Friendly and made it easy to enjoy the course buy being fun but very serious about their job.

I booked my CBT through RideTo because they advertise that they partner with reputable training schools and give riders peace of mind when choosing where to train. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite.

The training school I was sent to appeared very new and came across as quite unprofessional. The training environment didn’t feel organised, and the overall experience was far below what I expected when booking through a platform that claims to carefully select respectable schools.

The course was also stopped very early without giving me enough time during the day to properly develop the skills that CBT training is supposed to teach. Instead of receiving a full day of instruction and practice, I was told I could not continue and would need to rebook.

When you book through a service like RideTo, you expect a certain level of quality and professionalism from the training providers they partner with. Unfortunately, that standard was not met in my case.

I would strongly advise others to research the specific training school you are being sent to before booking through RideTo, as the experience may not reflect the level of quality that is advertised.

I had a very bad experience with this company.

From the beginning, it was clear that they were not interested in helping me at all. Despite paying for the CBT training, I was not even given a fair chance to complete the course or reach the road riding stage.

The instructor made excuses and refused to let me continue, even though I was capable and had previous driving experience. It felt completely unfair compared to others in the group.

I paid for a full service, but did not receive what I paid for. There was no proper support, no clear explanation, and no effort to help me improve or continue the training.

This experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I strongly feel that my time and money were wasted.

I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Jorge, at the Hertford branch was absolutely brilliant, full of knowledge and passion, really makes sure your safe on bikes and even gets habits out of your riding style

I did CBT exam with Ernest and he was brilliant. He provided me everything whatever I needed during the exam. Highly recommend to others people who wants to take out CBT license.

Absolutely brilliant day learnt a lot of stuff I did not no before my instructor was called Craig and he talked us through everything and took his time and got us the pass I am defo going back to learn how to ride bigger bikes now

The instructor was really patient and clear, made sure to give me helpful insights to ride correctly. Im 17 and have never ridden a motorcycle so i was scared at first but it all went amazing!
Definitely recommend!!

Thanks for the response, but this highlights the real issue.

I requested a change within minutes of booking, so this wasn’t about lack of notice or last-minute cancellation. Despite that, there was still no flexibility at all.

That means once you’ve paid, even immediately, you’re locked in with no support or understanding from the company.

From a customer perspective, that’s extremely rigid and not what you’d expect from a service like this.

I wouldn’t recommend using them unless you’re absolutely certain you’ll never need to make even the smallest change.

Universal company they are the best people discipline us for everything. They gave us the correct time we had been killed from them.

Excellent service, the training was great and easy to understand thanks to the well trained instructors and modern bikes. Special thanks for Mr. Bjorn, he made the whole session great, also provided useful advice and guidance. Good location and well designed training centre, highly recommend for everyone who wants to learn about riding or just developing riding skills!

There was a friendly welcome with very professional training with a patient teacher. It was fun all the way through.

I bought the peace of mind policy, which gives you a free second attempt if you fail your CBT. Unfortunately, I did fail, and when I tried to book another attempt online, I couldn't find anything. I then tried calling them, but couldn't get through due to a public holiday. After the holiday, I found an email address and contacted them. They told me I had to book my next appointment within 48 hours and that they don't accept calls, only emails. Since 48 hours had passed, they said I lost my policy. They claimed they sent me terms and conditions, but those were about 100 pages long, and who has time to read all that?

I did have a bit of a problem but the company was helpful in the end and sorted out the problem so all good .
