Very quick and efficient sale, very happy thank you

I recently bought a Volvo XC90 from Saxtons, I was served by Ismail who was very helpful through the process. I had a load of follow up questions and nothing seemed like too much trouble. When I picked up the car up it was immaculate. I would deffinately buy from them again.

Pain free experience and would recommend moving forward. Jenna & Ismail were fantastic and were more than helpful!

A painless used car buying experience from Saxtons. I arrived without having made an appointment, but the staff were very accommodating and found the vehicle I wanted to see (this is clearly a popular dealership, so I can understand some of the other comments about wait times and staff being extremely busy with customers etc). Stephen got the vehicle out for me, gave me plenty of time to assess it before allowing me to take it for a test drive. There were a few cosmetic details that I asked them to address, they were happy to oblige, and i collected the car a week later. There was the usual offer to purchase additional addons, which I declined, and that was that. Pretty straightforward.
Luke was particularly patient with me on the day of collection.
Given the experience and supply of stock, I would happily use Saxtons again for a future purchase.

Great choice of cars
Poor timekeeping, if you make an appointment, be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes before being seen. I have made several appointments over the last couple of months & was kept waiting every time.
Staff are always busy & don't have meuch time to be helpful.

A very positive experience

Good online communication salespeople helpful great facilities,but let down just a little by annoying little problems on collecting car , low tyre pressure showing on dash which they solved by putting air in tyre! dirty radar sender alert on dash still there , and a missing Mercedes centre cap missing ,still missing these really should have been spotted beforehand and also there should have been final checks made. Positives Michael and jenna were very informative.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. Full of liars from the outset!
Purchased an F Pace WX71TXC. Collection was delayed by weeks due to a faulty sensor and this was only the beginning.
After covering approx 500miles, coolant light comes on. Advised them to be told just top it up. A week later, all coolant gone again. The tried to push through the warrenty but I refused.
They collected the car, investigated and eventually told me failed water pump, and head gasket gone, the best bit, they tried to blame me for this!! After ivis report put them in their place, they had to do the repair. No loan vehicle given.
Car then goes for 'quality check' with a manager. This consists of being driven to a side road in Basildon, dumped on the pavement for the weekend, then returned to the dealership via McD's drive through.
Car was apparently ready for collection a week into February. On the day of collection, get a really load grinding noise, so yet again the car stays with them. Get a call 2 days layer to say the rear diff has failed and they ordered parts. With strict instruction not to repair it as I was going to reject based on a failed repair, they proceeded to repair the car. I then get a phonecall to say its fixed, followed by an email to say there was never a problem.
Cue rejection through the finance company..... Saxtons tell the finance company it was always ready to collect on 9th feb, the very same day they told me the diff had failed. Then the story changes to them making minor adjustments to improve performance.
Internal emails showed the car still wasnt fixed on the 18th Feb. But in true saxtons form, they had told so many lies, I think they believed them themselves.
Eventually, after a long process with the financial ombudsman the car was rejected and got my money back.
Needless to say, they now have the car back to for sale on their forecourt. I feel sorry for the next unsuspecting customer.

Called and asked to view a car the following day. Asked if all ok with the car, could we take it that day. Saxtons said this would be fine if we left a £299 deposit they would get the car ready. Turned up fully ready to purchase a car. Car was dirty and with scratches. They told us they can sort the scratches out and to come back in 3 days. Given the distance we drove that wasn't an option. Had to wait to see someone even though we had made an appointment. 2 Emails & 1 phonecall later still chasing my deposit to be returned to me.

Absolutely seamless from start to finish. Particularly thanks to Jenna and Michael. Will definitely come back to Saxton’s for my next purchase.
