I would strongly recommend avoiding Smile Path.
The impression putty they provide is extremely poor quality and very difficult to use properly. I followed the instructions carefully and still could not get acceptable impressions.

The frustrating part is that once you use up the initial batch, they simply sell you more putty instead of acknowledging that the product itself is flawed. After more failed attempts, they then push you toward getting dental scans for an additional $150+.

I have used another company in the past for dental impressions and the difference in quality was night and day. Unfortunately that company has since closed down, otherwise I never would have tried Smile Path.

This whole process ended up being expensive, frustrating, and a complete waste of time. Save your money and look elsewhere.

If I could give zero stars, I would. A company clearly run by a dodgy Indian call centre. I thought this was a good option for mild relapse post-orthodontic work, as my teeth have only shifted a bit.

I had zero communication or follow-up by anyone after I got about halfway through treatment. By the end of the treatment, my teeth had barely shifted - if at all - and my teeth looked the exact same as before I started treatment. My teeth looked nothing like what was on my Smile Projection. I sent an email advising them of this and heard nothing for 2 weeks. I called them and spoke to someone who gave me robotic answers, much like the way they communicate in emails. They told me they had sent a reply to my email but "it must not have gotten through due to a technical issue", which is clearly bullshit. They told me I need to send them more pictures of my aligners even though I had already uploaded them onto the app. I have requested a refund given I spent over $1000 and wasted 7 months of my time, yet all I received was another pre-written, robotic email response. I would recommend going to an actual, in-person orthodontist or dentist. Don't waste your time or money giving into this scam.

Update: after ongoing communication, the company stated they would provide me with a free refinement treatment. When I declined and stated I no longer wanted to continue with their service, they provided a partial refund of $300. However, I still remain dissatisfied overall due to the treatment not achieving the results as advertised.

SmilePath is professional and easy to deal with. The online session made impressions simple, and the wrong tray size was replaced quickly at no cost.

Haven’t received the mouthguard yet, but so far a great experience — would recommend.

I have tried to get a refund after finding out I needed a root canal. They have said that I'm only eligible for 50% refund, despite not doing any impressions or having a treatment plan done. Stil yet to be resolved. Very poor customer service.

I had my impression making video this morning and the entire process went really well. The SmilePath staff guided me throughout the entire process and really took their time with me. The process is very simple and I can’t wait to continue the process with them for my aligners.

I chose SmilePath to straighten my teeth discreetly and the experience was excellent. The team was professional, supportive, and made the process easy. I’m very happy with my results and would highly recommend SmilePath to anyone considering clear aligners!

it was good. very helpful. hopefully these impressions are right this time because the time it has taken to do the videos back n fourth emails my teeth have moved back to square one. but they have been very helpful and helped provide supplies. lady daisy was very helpful.
