3 grown men refused to deliver my new sofa.
Three man 3rd party delivery team refused to deliver a 2-seater recliner up 2 flights of stairs, which is what was agreed with the sofashop, so I had to get a refund. Got a much better deal from furniture direct, a 2+3 seater recliner sofa set for £300 cheaper & a 2 man team got both sofas in. Would not recommend to anyone 👎

The delivery was carried out by one of our third-party delivery partners, as our own vans don’t cover your area. Unfortunately they didn’t complete it, and that falls short of the standard we set for The Sofa Shop. We’ve taken this feedback on board with them. Our own delivery team handles stair-and-tight-space deliveries with real care, and we’d have loved to bring your sofa in ourselves.

The showroom is tiny and uninterested salesman
The showroom is tiny. There were some sofas on show. None of them labelled or showing any information. Two of the sofas I sat in were faulty with functions not working. The salesman that eventually came over to talk to us was so not interested in helping us. It was like extracting teeth trying to get information from him. And his excuse for the faulty sofas was that they were just moved from another showroom, that was closed. That certainly didn't give me any confidence in the quality of the items.
Really felt like it was a complete waste of time going there.

From ordering to delivery this company is AMAZING! They checked in regularly to make sure delivery times were convenient for us, we ordered Monday and it was delivered Friday. Fantastic communication from the lads Zam & Jeeby from a early morning text to say the delivery from between 1pm & 5pm then approximately 30mins before arriving they phoned to say how long they was going to be .Then when they arrived they was very friendly and had my chair in and set up in no time

It was the worst purchase I’ve ever…
It was the worst purchase I’ve ever made the screws in the mechanisms are snapping the wood in it is so flimsy it’s all cracking the chairs are all wobbly if you lean forward it nearly tips I’ve phoned them first the guarantee had run out by a month they didn’t tell me that the mechanisms had a five year guarantee to send pictures I felt that we sent would not really show the problems we would be much better if somebody could actually see it so I’m now left with a cinema 3-1-1 that cost me £2500.00 I will never buy anything else from them totally ripped of big time.

Zam and Jeeby , called half hour before arrival , came in and installed the sofa super fast. Great service and even showed me how to use everything before going and clearing all the rubbish away.

I can’t fault the service
I can’t fault the service. After procrastinating for a year I finally bit the bullet and purchased the Capri three seat recliner.
I ordered the sofa on Monday and organised the delivery on the 9th October. The purchase process was easy and I took advantage of the twelve months interest free finance which was very easy to set up. I received a call from the service department on Tuesday asking if could take delivery the following day as they had a van delivering in my area.
My delivery arrived the following evening. The two guys, whose names slip from my memory, having seen another review I now remember the names of the installers Zam and Jeemy, can’t praise their service enough, firstly they dismantled my old sofa and removed it and installed my new sofa all within an hour. They did a good job removing all the packaging and going on to explain the features of my sofa.
Overall I am very happy with the quality of the product and service I received from the Sofa Shop and would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their old sofa

What a brilliant company, theses guys have nailed it from start to finish. It is so satisfying and reassuring to have dealt with this company who, not only delivered what they promised they would, but even exceed that promise. We ( my family and I ) had our kitchen recently refurbished, which then made our living room look rather shabby in comparison to our kitchen, so we then decided to redecorate our living room and replace our tired furniture. I'd never heard of The Sofa Shop before, however I decided to take a risk and purchase some of the furniture we eventually got from them. It was a most excellent decision that we made. Every member of my family is hugely pleased. What even makes our experience even better is that the price we paid was very competitive and the quality outstanding. I absolutely recommend this company. Sadly there are too many shyster, fraudsters and conmen on the Internet posing as legitimate businesses, so generally when making large purchases one needs to be extremely weary. So again, I had the most excellent experience with The Sofa Shop and I recommend and salute them. Well done!

Amazing company, sofa and delivery.
From the initial contact to delivery it was plain sailing, nothing too much trouble, reached out to ask questions, promt responses. Delivery was quick, 1 week. The delivery guys Zam and Jeeby were polite, helpful, knowledgeable and took extreme care when delivering and installing. The sofa (tuscany 3 seater and chair set) is amazing from comfort to the functions its been the best sofa. Excellent quality and the fabric is lush. So far no complaints. Took out the extra care so know they will be on hand if needed. The free gifts were amazing too. Mirror, side table, throw and a chunky pouffe to store blankets if needed. Thank you so much we are in love with our sofa.
