Worst sofas l have ever owned
Went to showroom to checkout sofas, seemsd ok. Ordered 2 sofas and was told there would be slight delay as new improved design with built in massage feature were arriving soon and l could have these for no extra cost.
They arrived and were installed by 2 guys at 9:30 at night which was odd but after waiting all day l was gratefull.
At first the seats were ok but the massage device in back cushion seemed a bit obtrusive but l thought maybe it would become more comfortable after some use. Alas not.
The sofas have become uncomfortable at best and painfull when using for any prolonged time. After 9 months the stitching has come undone and l am told it is not covered under warranty because it is deemed as normal wear and tear.
I would never use these people again.

We'd like to be clear on the position regarding the stitching/tear you reported. As part of our warranty process, the affected sofa was independently inspected by Castelan Group — an FCA-regulated furniture repair and warranty specialist with over 10 years of experience in the industry, and our appointed third-party partner for exactly this kind of assessment. Their technician carried out a full physical inspection of the sofa and the affected area, and their formal report confirmed that the tear to the LHF seat cover was not the result of a manufacturing defect.
The independent report specifically recorded the cause as accidental damage occurring during use, with additional wear also visible to the surrounding leather. We'd like to politely clarify that our manufacturer's warranty covers manufacturing defects only — issues arising from the materials or construction of the sofa itself — and does not extend to accidental damage occurring during use, in line with standard industry practice. As this was assessed as accidental damage rather than a manufacturing fault, it unfortunately falls outside what we're able to cover under warranty. We understand this isn't the outcome you were hoping for, but as an FCA-regulated body, Castelan Group's assessments are independent, evidence-based, and carried out to a regulated standard — our decision reflects their findings, not a judgement call made internally by us.
Separately, you've mentioned the massage device in the back cushion feeling uncomfortable or obtrusive. This is the first time this has been reported to us, and it wasn't something Castelan Group's technician was asked to assess as part of the original inspection. We'd like to look into it properly — could you please send a short video showing the issue to support@sofa-shop.co.uk? Once we have this, our team can review it and advise you on next steps.

All round fantastic service
I called and placed the order by phone late last Saturday (5 mins before they closed). It was a seamless process over the phone and I received email confirmations of order whilst on the call. I then received regular updates as the sofa was dispatched. The delivery company called to advise they were on their way to deliver. Delivery and then installation was great - they put the sofa together - tested everything worked and photographed the entire suite before leaving.
The sofa was delivered 5 days after placing my order and I live in a part of the UK where ordering from local companies always means a 12 to 15 week delivery slot.
The sofa itself is great quality.
All round fantastic service - will definitely use again.

Excellent experience from start to finish
I can honestly say it was a pleasure from start to finish. The show room really displayed a excellent sample selection which reinforced my purchase for the theatre seating, the team at the showroom were very helpful and talked through all my questions. The delivery was withing several working days with contact on the day of order to nail down a date.
I ended up purchasing 2 of the large pictures on display too.
On the delivery day itself i had good pre contact and them- Zam and Jeeby arrived with the furniture and the bundle which came as a promotion for the purchase. The fitting and assembly was spot on and very respectful of the property and furniture. I am so pleased with the seating, exceeded my expectations and to top that the promotion bundle was very good quality, love the mirror and footstool which have added to my final look. All in all a excellent company to purchase from, good quality products, impecible service and a very competitive price - well done i would highly recommend

Reply to sofa shop. I do use leather cleaner. And have done since I bought it. And i use the same leather cleaner on my car seats and there 13 years old . Plus it's supposed to be a charging
part that doesn't charge. The massaging part is VERY noisy. The heater is a waste of time. Poor quality. AVOID..

Incorrect series sent out had to be replaced.
Was sent out wrong series of sofa Tuscany series 3 instead of series 4. This sofa had also a faulty cup holder which none of functions worked on. Had to wait in for attempted repair which failed, then had to be in for replacement of sofa to correct series 4.
When series 4 turned up found that there was no heated lumbar support, after a lot of confusion found that it had been taken out of latest series 4 due to was causing faults with sofa electrics.
This was confusing as had heated lumbar support in series 3 and on pictures of dark brown sofa advert on site clearly showed heat button on picture of remote for massage function of seat.
Overall very happy with sofa and look forward to years of service, although customer service is very poor as has caused a lot of stress and inconvenience over last month. Have taken out extended warranty but hope don’t need to use.

Regarding the LED ring light on the cup holder — every single item that leaves our warehouse goes through a dedicated quality control process where our team checks each feature individually, including all lighting functions. Your sofa passed that check successfully before dispatch, which tells us this is almost certainly something that occurred during transit or in the final stages of assembly on the day — the kind of thing that can occasionally happen when items travel significant distances or are handled during installation. It is frustrating, and we completely understand that it should not be your problem to deal with — which is why our team will have already been in touch to arrange a fix at a time that suits you. We will make sure that it is as seamless and quick as possible.
On the mirror — we completely understand the frustration here, and we want to be transparent about how this works. The mirror is included as part of a bundle offer, and because it is dispatched under a product SKU rather than a specific colour name, the label on the packaging reads 'silver' — which is the SKU reference — while the physical item inside is white. We acknowledge this is a confusing experience, and we are genuinely sorry it did not match what you were expecting. The bundle is structured as a curated selection item, meaning a specific colour cannot be guaranteed at the point of order, though we always do our best to factor in any stated preferences. We are sorry that on this occasion it did not land right.
We do not want either of these points to overshadow what sounds like a sofa you are genuinely thrilled with — and we are committed to making sure the LED issue is resolved quickly and with minimal disruption to you, as well as addressing the mirror concern efficiently.

Great company to deal with.
From the first phone call I made to Adam, to visiting the showroom and then ordering a few days later, I found this company fantastic to deal with. Adam in particular was excellent, very helpful and replied to all questions very quickly. Very happy with my sofa, a two and three seat Tuscany, and the delivery service was also excellent, their communication was very efficient and the two guys were great. The delivery guys were brilliant (Zam & Jeeby). I opted to have my old sofa taken away. It was a beast and they handled it very professionally and were very friendly.
Slightly disappointed with the speaker system in the sofa one of the main reasons for choosing this model. Sounded better in the showroom. However, the recliner and lumbar support are great.

Looking for a Leather Sofa?: Look No More: The Sofa Shop!
*Excellent Company.
*Process extremely organised from ordering, arranging delivery date to actual day of delivery.
* All staff very courteous and helpful. Adam was very knowledgeable discussed various sofas over the telephone, providing me with excellent knowledge of all the company products.
*Delivery was organised efficiently and on day of delivery Zam & Jeeby arrived promptly. They were efficient and cheerful, the large boxes were carefully unpackaged and the sofa was then brought into my lounge extremely skillfully, with no damage done to interior walls and wood flooring. I was expertly given a full demonstration of the handsets for the end recliners.
* Product quality was superb with the colour of the sofa matching with the colour shown online. The blue leather felt soft and smooth to the touch, and upon sitting felt extremely comfortable.
* Features: recliners when in use glided silently and smoothly. The heat and massage features are a godsend for me. My health is very poor and my torso loves the heat and massage therapy this sofa offers. The centre seat features an amazing fold down section which becomes a small table. The cup holders are magnificent, holding cups, mugs, tumblers and wine glasses etc. doing away with the need for side or coffee tables.
* An outstanding piece of furniture. With an excellent price tag.
