I paid a premium price for glove liners…

I paid a premium price for glove liners that were supposed to keep my hands warm below zero. I live on a farm and work outside several hours everyday and I just wanted to keep my fingers from going numb. The glove liners are attractive and soft but NOT warm. I paid a ridiculously high price for liners and my fingers still freeze at 20 degrees above zero with a pair of winter gloves over them. Don't waste your money. So disappointed.

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company, if you have to exchange something, you have to absorb rhe shipping cost, so no free size exchange, as their ad states, then if you return the item for a credit, you have to pay shipping costs, plus when they issue you your credit, they deduct the delivery shipping cost, even though you received free shipping on the original order. These folks and the customer service people are very misleading, the vests are unisex so the zipper is ass backwards, find a different company.

I purchased a heated vest from Solana…

I purchased a heated vest from Solana and after wearing it 5 times (it was 2 months old) the seam next to where the battery pocket is separated and exposed all of the wiring inside the vest. Closer look revealed a defective sewing job along the seam.
When I contacted customer service at Solana they assumed I had somehow damaged the vest despite my description of its use of standing and light walking. They refused to consider their product was defective or they didn’t care if it was. Solana offered a 15% refund on the vest ($8) for me to take it to a tailor for repair which is unrealistic, costly and inconvenient. Solana also acknowledged the vest was not safe to wear without being repaired. Solana said it was no longer under their 30 day warranty for a replacement. There are many other companies out there that sell similar products with higher quality items and better customer service and I suggest using them instead of Solana.

Worst quality gloves I have ever had

Worst quality gloves I have ever had, especially for the inflated price charged. After wearing them for 15 minutes at my grandsons hockey game I knew they weren't worth half of what I paid. I decided to return only to find out you can't if they were opened!! Don't buy anything from this company!!

During the Jan-Feb cold snap for 25…

During the Jan-Feb cold snap for 25 consecutive days of subzero temp's and 15-30mph wind chill was toasty warm with my Solana Gear Heated Vest as I spent 3 hours cleaning 6"-12" drifts of snow from my property. I am anxiously waiting the arrival of my Solana Gear Heated Gloves to complete my ensamble.

My gloves

My gloves, after just a couple weeks, had a seam give out. Contacted Customer Support by email, received reply within an hour, and issue resolved with replacement gloves being sent out. Jermaine in CS was friendly, very helpful, and made experience comfortable

Generally pleased with the fit and…

Generally pleased with the fit and appearance-not too bulky. Worn the vest for a couple of days and it heats as advertised. My only concern is the main zipper which does not operate as smoothly as I think it should and makes me concerned about its durability.

Do not buy these vests

Do not buy these vests. I bought 2 vest before Christmas. ! went bad in less than 3 weeks and the the other went bad at 1.5 months. I called customer service (Grayson) and he said no refund and no replacement on either vest. He said I can get get a free battery??? The battery is not bad. He didn't even listen to me. You get what you pay for. Pay more somewhere else.

Solana heated vest, oversold & under delivered

I received my Vest & also bought 1 for my mother as a Christmas gift. I was disappointed right from the start with the flimsy feel of the vest. But I was determined to like it and use it. I found the batteries took a very long time to recharge and found that if I used a charger for a tablet instead of phone it seemed to help. Then within 2 weeks the zipper came apart in the middle, this happen a couple of times. But what made called for refund was the zipper toggle came completely apart. Unfortunate this happen 35 days after I ordered.
Their return policy is within 30 days. When I called they agreed to give me a 30% refund. I wanted a product that works not a partial refund.

I ordered two vests and was…

I ordered two vests and was disappointed that there were not better instructions. I ordered an 2XL and one for my wife XL, and both were a bit small. I also don't like the fact that the zipper on mine is on the left i.e. unisex. I have found that Customer Service has been very helpful and kind. I did order two scarfs and like them but again no good instructions and a bit short.

The zipper on the vest broke in less than two weeks after arriving

I wish I would have been aware of this website before I bought the Solana Gear heated vest. I bought this vest for my father who is in hospice, his body is very cold and the heated vest was purchased to try and warm him up a bit. After paying considerable money for the vest and accessories, we had the vest for barely two weeks before the zipper broke and the vest was useless. I then tried to return the vest and get another sent out to me at no charge, and Solana Gear wanted me to take a photo of the broken zipper for their review to determine if the vest should be returned. I am there very often, but on the few days I have to be taking care of my own business, I am not able to travel to take a picture of the broken zipper and no one else with Iphone access is there right now. Today while I am at home trying to run my own house and take care of business I have had to ding around with Solana Gear and it has taken a lot of time with zero result. I would not recommend purchasing the Solana Gear heated vest.
