Kudos to Solana's customer service. I purchased the unisex heated vest,2…

I purchased the unisex heated vest,2 batteries and the charger. The system wasn't working at full capacity and shut down after 2 hours on all heat levels. I emailed customer service and the company replied with several troubleshooting steps to go through to see if it was a faulty vest or bad batteries. after discovering the problem, the customer service department sent me out what I needed in a quick and professional time. My special thanks to Jayson for being in constant communication with me through e mail. A very good company and decent products.

Great for any cold weather temperature

We got our heated vests in November. I have to spend time outside at work and bulky coats make my job harder. The vest is amazing. I can wear it and a sweatshirt when its 20 degrees and not get cold! Sometimes I'm outside for almost 2 hrs! The battery lasts the whole time on high. My coworkers ask to wear it now to when they go out! The different settings make it perfect for any chilly weather!

Purchased vest for my husband for Xmas…

Purchased vest for my husband for Xmas and my son-in-law. They both love the vest. I think it was an auto shut-off so if they leave it on, the battery does not run out.

Vest without a battery

I ordered a vest for my son and used the size chart provided by Solara. The vest is too small and the battery wasn’t sent with the vest. Now they want me to keep the vest without a battery and offered me a 30% refund. Why would I want to keep a vest without a battery that is too small. Please do not do business with this company!! Not a good business! All they want to do is take your money!!!

Great Customer Service communication

I ordered 2 vests; one fit but the other was too small. I sent back the small one for an exchange; my only issue is that I had to pay for shipping. Second issue was that one of the battery packs failed and would not recharge. Solana replaced that battery pack immediately without issue. Great communication from customer service.

Heated vest issue.

I ordered a heated vest as a gift. After the 3rd wearing it wykd not work. I contacted the company and they responded within a few hours. They suggested some troubleshooting which we tried, but it didn't work. I inormed them and they arranged for a replacement to be shipped to me. The customer service was outstanding! James, the representative I dealt with resolved my issue within hours, not days. Exceptional!

THIS SOLAR VEST IS FANTASTIC. IT BEEN COLD COLD IN OREGON. I WEAR THE VEST EVERYDAY ALL DAY. I JUST RECEIVED ANOTHER BATTERY THAT I ORDERED SO I HAVE HEAT ALL DAY. MAYBE ITS BECAUSE I AM 92 BUT I AM FREEZING EVERYDAY. I HAVE MY FURNACE TEMP ON 74 BUT I AM STILL COLD. IF I RAISE THE TEMP MY HEAT BILL IS HUGE. YOUR VEST IS A LIFE SAVER

I made sure the powerbank was charged…

I made sure the powerbank was charged before I wore the vest. I wore out to dinner turning the vest off each time I was indoors. Altogether the vest was on for about an hour and when I went to wear it the next day the battery bank was dead. On a full charge I thought the battery bank would last more than an hour. Not impressed. I bought one for my son to go snowboarding with and when I asked him about his he said it doesn't last long either. Not impressed with the product. 3 star review because the vest fits as advertised but battery bank is not good.

Quality customer service department

My experience with Solana Gear has been terrific. Customer service couldn’t have been more cooperative and helpful with all my questions and issues. My first experience I ordered the wrong size. They immediately shipped me out the correct size and I received it in three days. The second issue I had was with the vest stopped heating. They had me do a check on the battery and the vest determined the vest was at fault and no more questions just sent me a new one. I have spoken with.Solana Gear three different times and they were very polite and very helpful every time. Thank you and keep up the good work. It’s appreciated.

Their new “International Sizing” misses the mark

I ordered two vests prior to Christmas. Both of them arrived, fit & worked perfectly. So I ordered two more this month(January). Now the company has changed their sizing to “International Sizing”. So when ordering I ordered an XS for myself instead of the Small like my first vest. It was H U G E! I can no longer get one of their vests that will fit me. Also, I ordered an XL for my husband (his normal size) and it was two sizes too small. So very disappointed to have to pay $14 to return them. Currently waiting on a refund. You’ve heard the saying “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”. So I’m debating whether or not to reorder a 3X for my husband or to find another vendor. It will depend on how long it takes to see the refund. The vests have already been sent back!

Kudos to both Customer Service and Solana Gear

Never before have I been treated so well by Customer Service as I was with Solana Gear. My vest arrived but did not fit. In addition, I had troubles getting it to heat. Over a few days, I had several written communications with the staff. Their responses were immediate and very well written. Responders answered me promptly (even on weekends) with clarity and kindness. As a former English professor, I cannot help but notice the quality of writing skills. My problems were solved quickly and accurately, and I am grateful for the service I received. since I mostly communicated with Chris, I must mention him by name.
I cannot end my comment without mentioning the following: Luckily, my vest arrived at my home in Maine before storm Fern did, with temperatures below freezing, plus high winds. Thus, I got to try out the vest, not only outside in 4 degrees, but also inside when I lost I my heat for several hour. The vest worked well in both places.

Great Customer Service

I worked with Jayson on the customer service team. One of my gloves came with an incomplete seam. I was offered a 30% refund, which might have covered a professional repair, but I got the gloves on sale so the refund was not going to be much. While I waited for a response for an actual quote for the cost of repair, I expressed my understanding that I didn't seem to have a choice, and the refund makes the most sense financially for the company. It was explained that the discount was the quickest resolution they could offer me, but I was not comfortable with the quality the glove might be not having the factory seems. In the end I was sent a new set of gloves.

Great!

I ordered 2 heated vests and was so satisfied with them that I attempted to reorder another as a gift. I ran into a snag with the recipient’s address (after I had placed the order). I called customer service and their rep, Sam, was incredibly helpful in correcting the address. I really can’t even imagine a better customer experience!
The vests are very lightweight, which we like and doesn’t impact our golf swing. For us, we’re more apt to play golf on chillier days with these vests!
