gold-platted is easily washing off
Some pieces have arrived with spots without gold layer, in another piece the layer is washing off after 1 year of keeping it and planning to use it for first time. Gold layer microns are not mentioned or informed, customer service solution: to find a local jewerler to fix it (no repair service available- does not make sense if the original piece was handmade in another country). Being handmade "high-quality" statements pieces and wear by "celebrities, royal family, etc. (marketing), it is something not aceptable for the price and customer service given. Suggestion, if you get something better in pure silver, no gold-platted.

As one of our returning customers, your support over the years has meant a great deal to us, which is why we're especially sorry that your recent experience has left you feeling this way.
When you contacted us about the first piece, we replaced it immediately as it had arrived with a plating issue. Regarding your earrings, these were purchased over two years ago and were outside our 12-month warranty period when you got in touch. Although we don't offer a replating service, we suggested a local jeweller as the most practical and cost-effective solution.
We always want our jewellery to be loved and enjoyed for years to come, and we're sorry that, in this instance, we haven't met your expectations. We do appreciate your feedback and will continue to review it as we develop both our products and aftercare services.

The best customer service out there! My product was received and turned around within 24 hours.. I love every single item I have from Soru and really can’t fault anything! If only all companies were as easy to deal with!

Sadly i had a faulty earring. I am a fan of Soru earrings, they are beautiful, starting bit of a collection...
Due to busyness of day life i left for a while to contact Soru regarding this.
Eventually i did, and the response i receive was brilliant. I can not fault Deb, she made the whole process, from returning the earrings, to receiving a replacement smooth and prompt.
Now, i am able to enjoy wearing my Coco earrings, rather than admirring them is the box !
So, thank you Deb from Soru for your help, patience and emails

I bought Medusa ring last a few months ago and I might wore it twice , I wanted to wear it again , took it out of the box and the colour of the ring changed it’s orange now , I contacted customer service because there is a warranty for it , so they told me they can’t do anything , so paying a lot of money for something get tarnished easily it’s not fair , so my advise don’t buy anything from them , as they will blame customer for anything happens although they advertise that their jewllery under warranty and it’s not true , don’t buy

We'd just like to clarify that we did not refuse to help. After reviewing your enquiry, we offered to repair your ring under our aftercare service.
Our jewellery is covered by a warranty against manufacturing defects, but this doesn't extend to damage or changes caused by wear, environmental factors or normal use over time.
We always aim to find a fair resolution for our customers, and we're sorry that, on this occasion, we weren't able to meet your expectations. Our offer to repair your ring remains open, and we'd be very happy to help restore it.

Poor quality
I purchased a necklace for my daughter’s 18th birthday at a cost of £320 15 months ago and it has tarnished to such an extent that it looks like cheap metal as opposed to gold plated silver. It is now unwearable. The customer services team refused to do anything about it as it outside the 12 month warranty period. At this price point, I would expect the jewellery to last longer than 12 months! Very disappointed and won’t be buying from Soru again.

Our pieces are crafted from 18ct gold plated sterling silver, and as outlined in our care guidance, gold plating can naturally wear over time. Factors such as exposure to water, perfumes, lotions, and humidity can accelerate this process, which may lead to changes in colour or finish. We recommend avoiding contact with moisture and chemicals, storing jewellery in a cool, dry place, and gently cleaning with a soft cloth to help preserve its appearance for as long as possible.
We do appreciate your concerns regarding longevity. However, as advised by our customer care team, our warranty covers manufacturing faults for up to 12 months from the date of purchase, and we’re unable to offer further support beyond this period.
We’re sorry again that your experience has not met your expectations and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Wendy

Beautiful necklace and charm, very unusual design and crafted with care. The packaging is exceptional even the. External cardboard box it came in had designs inside. It was an enjoyable experience opening the packaging and box.
