My suncast reel was leaking and when I was trying to unwind part of the hose it exploded into my face giving me a compression type cut on my forehead and two black eyes. But for the grace of God, I did not end up with an eye injury or broken nose. It must have built up pressure from the water leak and the hot sun making it the equivalent of a pressure cooker.

The "In-Tube / Out Tube" broke on my Suncast Hose Mobile after several years of use. I wrote to the company and submitted the information about the product and pics of the broken part. They responded quickly and indicated that the replacement part was on the way. Part received quickly with installation instructions. They also have a video at the "You Tube" web site which was had detail instruction which proved to be very helpful. Overall I am very satisfied with the customer service provided.

Their instructions are not clear and concise. Would not recommend their products!

this is the second snow shovel that i have purchased from them where the plastic part of the shovel has cracked where it is attached to the pole. 2 shovels with the exact same crack and they will not admit a problem or take care of the customer. Do NOT buy any of their cheaply built stuff.

Bought the sun cast Everett 3x6 shed. Roof would not go on. The tabs wouldn’t slid in and click so wouldn’t lay flat like it’s supposed to. Roof molding was obviously off- pieces not lining up. Will have to Jimmy rig it by trying to screw down and will have to caulk to waterproof. Very disappointed in the quality of this with pieces not fitting properly. Won’t by from this company again.

Our first deck box lasted 10 years. We ordered the same one different color and the right side door broke off. I ordered the cheap plastic bracket from the company. They said I could only have 5. 4 replacements broke in 2 days. We Jerry rigged the door with a metal bracket to keep the cheap plastic door hanging bracket from breaking.

Now the right side hydraulic lift mechanism screws tore thru the plastic leaving the door setting 3 inches above the frame allowing snow and bugs to accumulate.

Quality of the latest and greatest is not worth the money. Never again will I buy from this company. A replacement box is appreciated due to the poor quality. I take care of my stuff and don’t mistreat it. Customer service please respond.

Suncast will not honor their warranty. Their plastic sheds will melt in the sun and be useless. Do not purchase their products and you have been warned

So I bought a 10x14 shed. In the box was a list of shed accessories. I needed a shelf so I bought two for $52. They don’t fit or work with the shed. The brochure was misleading. I called Suncast Corporation and they said, “oh you are right, but you should have checked the website for shelf compatibility. I asked to return them and for Suncast to send a label. They said, “we don’t do that you have to ship it yourself”. I went to UPS and it would cost $250 to ship the $52 shelves. I called Suncast and they said, “normally we would also charge a 15% restocking fee, but we will waive that when you send this back”. I tried to explain if I throw these in the garbage it costs $52. If I send them back it costs me $302. They said, “but we will waive the restocking fee!” Unbelievable. Be careful what you buy. They treat you as a customer on the purchase, not the return.

Purchased a Suncast hose reel in April of 2025. Used the unit with a 50 foot hose for about 2 months before experiencing an issue. The unit completely fell apart. Contacted Suncast and they stated the damage was NOT covered under warrantee. Therefore expect a hose reel from Suncast to last about 2-3 months before completely breaking.

Very disappointing quality of product and customer service. They claimed the bin would keep wildlife out of our garbage for sure when we were looking at buying it (that was our main concern) but sure enough racoons had no problem getting in and when I approached the company about it they blamed the racoons! They completely ignored the videos I sent them showing the manufacturing defect the units have... stay away from this brand in you want your garbage or contents left alone at night.

Dont buy a shed from suncast or you will have problems for real!

Another company that has an office in the US but makes cheap junk in China and still charges premium prices. Bought 2 hose reel carts. Missing pieces in the package. Suncast can't provide the missing parts. (Because the parts are in China, no doubt. ) (and the production run on this item is over.) They expect me to drive 45 min back into town and back to return/exchange the product at the store from which I bought them.

I saw a new shed cabana come out last year at the end of the summer in Costco Lowe’s. It was 999 less than a year later they wanna charge $2000. This company should be ashamed of themselves for allowing it double the price I don’t think the shed has the bird flu. I think they’re just completely taking advantage of us now so sad will not purchase a thing from them.!!!!!!!!

Purchased two (2) 124 gallon Water Resistant Deck Boxes for $383.06. They literally fell apart approximately 40 days later on a windy day. It was past the 30 day return so we filed a warranty claim. Suncast refused to warranty the boxes because damage caused by "weather" is not covered. The quality of the boxes was extremely substandard. A simple wind ripped them apart. I do NOT recommend purchasing anything from this company considering the quality of the products we purchased and their response.

Purchase a suncast 8x7 entertainment cabana shed.customer service is just terrible. They do not want to own up to their product being defective. Both left and right roof top portions are defective. Can not get either one to fit on. Contact them and sent pics, sent pics of what the shed was on(concrete slab) they couldn’t use that as excuse to say that’s why it’s not fitting, so they made up all kind of other excuses. Can you believe they have an A rating on BBB. All these complaints. Why isn’t there a state wide lawsuit for this company . I’m ready to sign in with it. So I have a product that is not useful.

Roof cracks, Roof Leaks like a sieve. Rusting everything in the shed.
Need to start a Class Action suite as this has happened to many customers and Suncast denies Warranty on there defective plastic roof.

Bought a 7'x4' shed from Costco...
The roof was too small! By a half-inch!
The ONLY WAY I could get it to fit was to remove the 2 aluminum roof "rafters" and take a utility knife to one of the rear corners!
I wish I'd consulted Yelp BEFORE I bought.
NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY SUNCAST!

Terrible company that does not stand by their products or honor their warranty. I'm out a thousand dollars on a shed that has a giant crack in it and they refuse to replace the panel. Don't buy from this company. Read reviews everywhere they are terrible and lots of people have had the same issue. Put them out of business.

I think customer service enjoys playing games. I tried to register my shed and sent them the required receipt, as well as the packaging slip. Neither has been enough... They keep coming up with excuse after excuse saying something is not valid for one reason or another. This time the store name isn't on the receipt, which it clearly is. As for the product... I purchased a horizontal shed model BMS4950, and it's quite flimsy IMO, and although everything is firmly in place there are a few open gaps at the back. We can't figure out why other than poor manufacturing. As for customer service and their warranty, it's become clear they will keep you from registering a product so they don't have to take accountability for the product when it fails.
