I believe its false advertising.
I purchased an awning 1.5mts x 2.5mts thinking i would get 1.5mts coverage, but measuring the item the coverage width was only 1.34mts which left both edges exposed by quiet a bit. The 1.5mts is the external width including the bar & both brackets.

Delivery was too late than what was declared at the time of purchase.
Product is excellent but more pricey than other companies offering the same product. I still opted to get fr Tanstella due to promised delivery date which was before Christmas. Unfortunately, it arrived 5 days after New Year.
