My delivery was scheduled for Sunday 6/17. It kept getting canceled. Then rescheduled. Didn't get my delivery until 6/19. Once it got pick up. Everything was fine. The delivery team was GREAT.

I was charged 2 service fees for one…

I was charged 2 service fees for one job that was already expensive. They tacked on the extra service fee the day AFTER the job was done. That's not good business practice.

I would give zero stars if I could

I would give zero stars if I could. Despite receiving a confirmation email and my credit card being charged for two moving helpers for two hours, no one showed up for my job. Despite numerous attempts, I was not able to find a working customer service number for Dolly (but found lots of online complaints). The first Task Rabbit customer service rep reached said she was unable to offer any assistance. Period. The second pushed my time out and one helper accepted the job. He was great and also got lucky because my fee was not reduced or refunded despite having to hire help from outside the platform. I was told the confirmation was not actually a confirmation (it literally said your job is confirmed and we’ll take it from here) because my job was not “assigned.” I will never use Dolly or TaskRabbit again and am considering a BBB complaint.

I absolutely am so disappointed with…

I absolutely am so disappointed with the service I received the two people who were supposed to carefully care for my item broke in three different places before it arrived to me then wanted to charge me $159 and I submitted a claim through Dolly and got an email confirmation today that I would maybe receive compensation for my damaged item within four weeks. I probably could’ve hired somebody off of Facebook and had a better outcome. I don’t recommend using them.

The driver did not get in touch with me…

The driver did not get in touch with me at all I had to contact him and then driver was switched
The driver finally showed up 3 min after the 30 min time area
He had a truck with a big couch in the back and it took him 15 min to strap it in then for my equipment in

Paid for a Full Service, Received Only Part of It

We booked this service specifically because the item needed to be repackaged before being sent to a freight forwarding company for onward shipment from the USA to India.

This requirement was clearly explained before booking and was included as part of the quotation we accepted. The repackaging was not an optional extra it was one of the main reasons we engaged the service.

Unfortunately, when the provider arrived, the repackaging was not carried out, meaning a significant part of the agreed service was never completed.

What has been even more disappointing is the response afterwards. We have contacted customer support multiple times seeking a fair resolution, but the responses have been generic and unhelpful, without properly addressing the core issue that the agreed service was not delivered in full.

Despite only partially completing the work, the company has continued to charge the full amount and has not offered an appropriate refund or adjustment.

Mistakes can happen in any business. What matters is how they are handled. In this case, both the service delivery and the subsequent customer support fell well below expectations.

Horrible communication

Horrible communication. Unprofessional moved - he asked me for a ride to my place.
By the time movers showed up, my friends had already helped me as we were on a time schedule.
Will not recommend this service. EVER!

The movers were extremely rough with my furniture and caused considerable damage. They didn’t use any sort of care and were in a rush.
