My delivery was scheduled for Sunday 6/17. It kept getting canceled. Then rescheduled. Didn't get my delivery until 6/19. Once it got pick up. Everything was fine. The delivery team was GREAT.

I never received my item

I never received my item. But i did receive a request for a survey on service and tip. i don't know who to contact to find my item. This is way more work than just shipping item. 1 star is generous.

I had an exceptional experience with my movers! They text ahead with an anticipated eta to ensure they could meet my needs. They were timely, made sure that my item was adequately protected throughout the move, and respectful to me and of my property.

convenient service and great communication

It was a convenient service, especially since our mattress company organized it free of charge. Communication was prompt and service was great - we were able to select a specific date and we were given updates in a timely manner.

WORST MOVE EVER

My first preference would be to give 0 stars. The initial movers rescheduled due to the truck having to be serviced. I had to push hard to find out if they were coming the next day or not. They arrived three hours after I was told over the phone that they would be there. I had switched from a box truck that I preferred to a cargo van. The movers showed up with a rusty truck and an uncovered trailer.

They were not prepared for a move, including not having a dolly or any type of cart. They they did not listen carefully to directions and placed two good chairs by the dumpster, which I was able to retrieve. The items were literally thrown into the trailer and the truck and strapped down with no cover.

The driver was surly and threatened to dump all of this stuff on the ground because he had better things to do.

Upon arrival at the storage unit, they literally threw the items into the storage unit, including throwing the chairs on top of everything. Multiple items were wrapped in the parking lot and occasionally run over by the by the storage units cart.

It was the worst move. I have ever experienced or seen. I ended up having to pay someone to move the large screen TV because they were not prepared for it and I didn’t trust them. It also extended my time at the apartment complex and I paid a penalty for not having everything moved on time. I also hired someone to organize and check items for damage.

I had three items damaged for a total of $175. Apartment by Dolly refused to pay the insurance claim for them because they had credited the move. Although I was glad I did not pay for the move, they did also overcharge me and I incurred additional expenses is listed above.

Amazing guys

Amazing guys. They were on time and did a professional job of delivering without damages. Any damage from before was recorded.

Great customer service

Always have great experience. Last one not so good with the delivery people causing damage. Dolly responded immediately to resolve. They are still my go-to

Confirmed booking really not booked

When I booked the reservation I assumed that meant the delivery was confirmed. Shortly before my delivery window, I received an email informing me no helpers had been located. I rescheduled to the next day and the same thing happened. Eventually helpers were found and my delivery happened 5 hours later than what I booked.

Yikes

My mover was an hour late. I paid extra for a box truck and he showed up in a work van (they refunded me). Then I discovered he broke my TV and they haven’t refunded me because I don’t have my receipt for it. I would not use this service again.

Absolutely horrible experience from…

Absolutely horrible experience from start to finish. Completely unprofessional, unprepared, and honestly one of the worst delivery services I have ever dealt with.
The entire process was disorganized and inconsistent. I originally scheduled delivery with a van, then was told a van would not work and I needed a pickup truck instead. After changing the order as instructed, I was then told no drivers were available and had to reschedule AGAIN for the following morning. Nobody seemed to know what was going on.
When the movers finally arrived, they came totally unprepared. They had no dolly, no moving carts, no moving blankets, no protective materials, and no proper tools. One mover arrived in a van and the other showed up separately in a personal vehicle. They even had to borrow MY screwdriver to remove the feet from the couch. I had repeatedly explained to customer service that this was a white sofa sleeper that needed to be fully wrapped and protected during transport, yet it arrived barely covered at all.
The movers dragged the couch across railings, stairs, and flooring, leaving dirt marks and causing damage to the couch itself, including ripped fabric underneath the sleeper portion. I was even forced to physically help lift the couch over a railing because they lacked the equipment and manpower to safely complete the job.
The worst part is the damage they caused to my newly purchased condo. While forcing the couch through the hallway and foyer, they put a hole in my ceiling and scratched my real hardwood floors. I had suggested using the back entrance earlier because it would have been much easier and safer, but by that point the movers were exhausted and unwilling to try another route.
In the end, the delivery failed completely, my couch was damaged and had to be returned because there was no way of them trying another way without proper equipment or more manpower. My home was damaged. This company was careless, unprofessional, unprepared, and clearly not equipped to handle furniture delivery safely. I would absolutely never use Dolly again or recommend them to anyone.
