The service engineer was excellent. He went out of his way to help. Had a problem that needed sorting out but couldn't get the part when he came, so he arranged to come back the next morning to sort it out. Brilliant service.

Excellent service. I had a fault finder appointment, the mechanic Stefan arrived and found the problem very quickly, wrote a thorough report with photos for my garage as the issue was not able to be rectified immediately. I was able to arrange a break down recovery easily with the AA and car was picked up the following day and taken to my garage for it's repair. Being an AA member is the best thing I have ever done.

Really good value. Had service and MOT on my EV. Took it in at 9 and it was ready by 10.30! As they said, many of the points to check on the MOT are the same as those on a service so they do the two together. Very honest - I bet most garages do that but don't admit it and charge more! Cheap and cheerful premises but thorough - they found a couple of problems I had expected so confident they did a good job.

I booked a MOT test via your AA website for Monday 14th September at Dalston Auto Centre. It was confirmed 3 times via AA text that my slot was confirmed for 9am. I arrived at 8.45 to be told that the car needed an emission test and that they had no idea what time the rep from DVLA would arrive. I was dumbfounded!! I was also told that they had called a DVLA rep on Friday but could not ascertain any time for their arrival.

Since I booked via your AA website and the text confirmation came from AA, why did you fail to inform me of this critical aspect so that I could plan accordingly?

Dalston Auto Centre gave me a nonchalant response with a smile and who could not care less after I explained that I took unpaid time for that morning and that it was critical for me to be at work for the afternoon. I was told to take it up with DVLA who make the rules.

THIS IS TOTALLY DISGRACEFUL & UNACCEPTABLE BUSINESS PRACTICE!!!!

I subsequently called your AA office to be told that you spoke with the garage and that my car should be ready around 2pm, which was absolutely unacceptable because I live in East London and work 90 mins away by car. By the time I got to work it would have been time to turn around and come back home. I had important meetings that day and I was totally annoyed.

Garage was meant to collect my car between 8-11am - they collected it at 3.30pm. They said they'd deliver back next day, again between 8-11am. This was of great inconvenience to me (as I need my car for work). The next day they delivered my car at 5.30pm. This was supposed to be a 'same day service' so it was an awful experience that required me using a day of my annual leave. The car service and MOT was good and that is the reason they got a 2 stars rating

Service carried out efficiently.
Unfortunately the expected phone call on the day didn’t happen and the mechanic arrived without notice.

I just bought my new car, the new car for me being a 2017 Toyota Yaris Hybrid with 90,000 miles.
Because I didn't have enough information from the dealer, I called AA services.
it was very easy to find exactly what I needed,
the AA Smart Care is very smart and was very easy to use.
I booked online, someone comes at home at the time, the price was very good and at the end he give me some recomandations.
All was perfect,

Now I can rest assured that I can count on AA's professional help at any time.

I was not given the estimate of how much the job could cost. I was charged £150.00 for fixing car horn and no explanation was given regarding what the problem was. The staff spoke to each other on the phone in their native language and I was simply informed the cost was as stipulated above. The receipt was emailed to me a few days later.

I’ve haven’t got any issues with AA. Service my car on the drive checked brakes tyres changed oil filter’s didn’t have to take the car to the garage I will use them again

A good experience on the whole as my car was collected and returned with service and MOT completed.
I would have liked communication from SmartCare during the day however. I heard nothing, found the number unavailable when I tried to contact during working hours and didn’t know if the car passed the MOT until it was returned.

I went early morning, the lads were polite, knowledgeable and helpful, the process was straightforward they checked my car, advised me of any advisories or anything i should look out for and also answered some questions I had, overall nice experience and thank you for the coffee as I was waiting :)

It was very professional , plenty of warning as to when they were going to arrive, and done in good time, tested the battery after fitting the alternator and made sure that it was running, so pleased with the service from theAA , David the patrol man and the Mechanic that came to fix the car both were very friendly and approachable and knowledgeable , glad that I had cover with them .😇

The man who came out was so professional and very helpful. He did a fantastic job.
