Very good experience thank you. Marking down a star due to little communication with me when they didn’t advise that I would not be having my car back on the Saturday. I had a hospital appointment Monday for which I then had to additionally pay. The car is in good condition now. Thank you.

Very pleasant young man turned up exactly on time did the job with no issues, would be happy to use again.

I did a mot and service and then found out my car needed work to be done to pass mot .then paid for that to be done and then more work was needed which I did not do as the price was too much and I found it 150 pound cheaper I wish I would of taken my car to this other garage as I think I have paid too much for all the extra repairs . Then to find out they did not do one off my advisories
I think they took advantage and priced it at what they wanted .

Everything was fine.

For ease of use and price, this service really is great. Had both sets of brakes changed. The mechanic was on time, friendly, and explained everything well.

One star less as one of our appointments was cancelled 3 days out due to failure to take payment (unknown why), and that seemed to be a flat-out cancellation with instruction to rebook, rather than giving the opportunity to try payment again or pay a different way. The next appointment was then another week away, which was fine for us but may be an issue if you’re in a pinch.

The service my husband received was extremely helpful. They arrived when they said and they were able to take him from a busy dangerous motorway to somewhere safe. The aftercare to repair the car was just as efficient too.

Mechanic arrived on time, friendly, very competent and professional, finished the job in good time. Highly recommended service, and a great price.

Prior to booking I was not aware that the garage would need my car all day. It was going to be difficult to collect my car between 5 and 5.30 when they closed as the garage said it could be up to 5pm before my car would be ready. However I rang the garage at 4pm and they said the car would be ready by 5.30 as there was not enough space for them to store the car overnight. However I did manage to collect the car at 5.30pm. According to the garage Some of the parts required did not arrive in the pack so more parts arrived later in the day which caused delays in the car being ready. To be honest the garage were not very complementary of the AA !

For my MOT and service, my car was in the garage three days. They couldn't source the correct air filter !

Easy to organise MOT and Service through this AA platform. Excellent garage identified and booked. Great service from the Braintree Motor Company. Price as quoted. I will use the AA to book again next year.

Very disappointed with AA SMART SERVICE and CG AUTOs Wakefield
I have previously used CG Autos in Wakefield without any issues, firstly for an MOT last year and secondly to have new brake pads and disks fitted. So thinking I had found a trustworthy garage I booked in again for MOT on the 2nd Sept and the car passed as last time, only this time as I drove it home I noticed my airbag warning light was on and I was getting a seatbelt warning. I rang the garage next morning who at first suggested the fault was pre existing but I pointed out that had the airbag warning light been on when I took the car in it would have been an instant MOT failure! So admitting it had occurred during the MOT they asked me to take it back next morning which I did, they put a lad on it who hadn’t a clue how to put things right and then told me they would get in touch with their ‘electrical guy’ to look at it, that was the 7th September. I have messaged and emailed and all I get is they can’t get in touch with this ’electrician’. So it's now the 16th of September, TWO WEEKS after the MOT and I am no nearer getting my car sorted, to say I feel let down is an understatement. This was all booked through the AA 'SMART' SERVICE not CowboyMechanics R US. Is this a garage I could recommend? Absolutely not based on this experience.

Had a wonderful experience with AA Smart Care with a reasonably priced interim service.
They came to my house and did a service on the drive. Professional young men who were lovely. They called and let me know when they arrived and were prompt. I didn’t catch both of their names but one of the was Liam from the Chorley branch. Thank you both!
