This is a review from the other side, i.e the drivers view. 1st The CONcrete Network don't own any plants or trucks, they just take your order, ring around for a price and then add their markup. (Like Go Compare but the price goes up, not down)

I have delivered to sites where the customer has been going berserk at the prices he's been charged for my delivery, (Usually a lot more than we invoiced for), one was charged extra for 2 loads and more because it was a Saturday morning, his bill was nearly 900 quid The invoice from my office was 600 odd.... another gave an explicit time slot as he wouldn't be in, and wasn't impressed when I rang to tell him I was outside, as we had not been informed, and he was at a Doctors appointment the other side of the city.....

Another one of their victims was told my truck (18t hgv) was no bigger than a transit van.

My advice would be, ring round all the local concrete suppliers but ask if they have their own trucks. The CN have managed to make themselves look local in Google searches, despite being 1 office in the South somewhere.

The concrete supplier I drive for has now stopped supplying them due to constant problems.

Zero stars! I think they have closed now. 11 months after laying a slab for pedestrian access, the concrete was turning to sand. I tried to core drill it to get a sample but it just kept crumpling. The company said it was because I laid it wrong (I have 25 years experience laying concrete). I got a concrete engineer out to get a sample be he couldn’t either. Again, I was told it was my fault BUT they said they don’t use that pump team anymore because of all the issues!!! I am now being sued by my client for the expense of replacing the faulting mix. I hope the owners are in debt as they have left small honest and hard working businesses in peril.

1 star is overrated! I actually had this company not show up after paying over £1000 on concrete. And remembered I hadn’t wrote a review! Please don’t use this company if you want a good service and your concrete delivered on time! They eventually paid the money back after months of hassle and reminding! Their customer service is terrible!

This company is a joke. Nothing more.
They will collect your cards details and charge you for extra time you haven't used. And good luck getting your money back.
In their invoices it's clearly written that you have 1h to unload and when I spoke to them at the phone they claimed it was 40 minutes. The people that came to deliver the concrete were late and lied about the time they left. This company thought well to retain the card details I gave them over the phone and charged me a week after the delivery for an extra time that never existed. When I tried to contact them over the phone they were rude and annoyed. It took forever to speak to somebody and they even tried to keep their identity secret once I suspected I was talking to the person who overcharged me. I was then promised a £30 pound refund after charging me around £150 for some fake extra time, and guess what?! I haven't received anything.
STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
THEY ARE SIMPLY THIEVES

4th July they charged me for concrete I didn’t have!! Over 2 months and I am still waiting for the refund!! I have emails promising the refund but it has not been received. Now I can’t seem to get them on the phone due to “technical difficulties” and they haven’t answered my latest emails!! Will have to ombudsman if nothing by the end of the week.

DO NOT USE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
When you pay use your credit card and not debit card, should you find the need to cancel you will not get your money back in the 14 days and when you ring up to try and get it sorted you will be talked to very nicely but ultimately they are lying to you just to get you off the phone, you will need to get in touch with your card provider to help get your money back. Be careful they don't overcharge you also, ensure you record the phone call, this is the worst company we have ever had to deal with since buying anything online. Do not be taken by any reply to this review as it would alledge that they know full well what's happening

This business is either highly immoral or criminal, do not touch. Just like other reviews on here, after initially making an order I was told there will be a refund, so I asked to get a refund. I was told the refund would take 10 days. 10 days later it had not arrived. I have chased several times both over the phone and by email and each time I am told it will be another 10-14 days. 1 months later and no refund. I am now taking legal action.

Not trusted company, 2 months waiting to get refund and still didn't received it.

Made a mistake of not reading reviews before I ordered with this company.
They took my money even though they could not fulfil my order.
They contacted me the day before the screed was due to arrive and said they wouldn’t be able to get it there.
They have also said they won’t refund my money for at least 14 days!!!!

Avoid this company and go elsewhere. Cancelled order then didn't turn up for the rearranged order. Hours spent on the phone getting pushed between call people with no resolution.

Had to get my credit card company involved to get a refund after they had let me down. Completely useless scammers. Please don't even consider using them, they will let you down and rob you given the chance

I would NOT recommend this business. Called on Wednesday  and arranged for concrete and pump to be delivered on Friday,  price all agreed. Had a call the next day, with less then 24hrs for the pour, cancelling the delivery and rescheduled to later the following week. The company stated that the pump had broken down , ( we believe this is a lie, and they couldn't get a pump. We rung up and cancelled the order as we had grave concerns regarding this company. And then also reading the reviews on trust pilot and Google . We were told it would be 7 days to receive our money back, nearly 20 days later, after we told them we have reported them to the bank for fraud,  suddenly they were eager to pay our money back, minus cancellation fee, which we don't believe should have been stopped.
As 1. They cancelled the booking first.
2. They dont tell you all the costs, eg quote was all agreed,  then told us the turnaround for each drop would be 2hrs, which is no good for footings, and any delay would be charged at £75 per hr + vat.
We found another concrete business called 1st choice who were excellent and delivered , in fact even losing the stoppages from this scam company, we ended up paying far less
Also we found this company won't answer your emails, or return calls, and if you ring , worst of all will disconnect the phone 😡

Beware of this money grabbing, cancelling, poor customer service company! Avoid at all costs!

DANGER!! DO NOT USE.
Call centre scammers who provide poor service and make revenue for charges of failure of service. You can tell when you call as they are very unprofessional, I tried to cancel and they basically put immense pressure on getting you to explain why, they then pump you of charges for canceling. Stick to your local suppliers who these guys will try and use anyway. Avoid at all costs. Watch out for cancellation fees.

Avoid this company or it will end up costing you. Concrete and pump cancelled without giving me (the customer) any notification. I only found out by calling them after delivery deadline was missed. Then 3 months chasing without receiving a refund. As far as I am concerned this business is a scam.

Tbh extremely surprised to read any negative comment relating to this company , it’s the only pumping company I would ever use , the lads are always helpful , fairly priced and professional , we pump concrete regularly as a small construction company and have found “we pump concrete” to be a valuable partner, they have arranged pumps and short notices and deal with all aspects of the supply for me , couldn’t be happier none of these negative reviews I recognise.

Avoid this company. Over an hour and a half late for delivery. and wants to charge £300 for a rearranged delivery or £500 to cancel the order. They are complete scams.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my order with the concrete network. 6 weeks have now passed from that point and I have still not received a refund. I have contacted customer support who told me that they did not know when the refund could be paid to me and that I would be contacted at some point....
Refunds should be made within 14days.
Simply not good enough.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. The worse company I have ever had the displeasure of using. They promise you the world to land the order and then can't deliver. You call to resolve issues and get left on hold and cut off.

The Concrete Network company charged twice the price for the order by arranging for the load from Chorley concrete mix ltd. Everything was as arranged and concrete arrived on time and I cannot complain. However, I did not know that Concrete Network company are a middle man and they are working under so many different names. They should have said that to me at start.
I would like to give 10 out of 10 to the Chorley concrete mix company whom actually delivered the concrete. They will need to get all the credit 100% and beyond. I advise everyone to go direct to your local companies and not through the middle man.
