I had placed a Cash on Delivery (COD) order worth ₹279, but the delivery person took ₹300 from me. This is clearly overcharging, and it’s not acceptable.

COD means paying exactly what was shown in the invoice, not extra. I'm disappointed with this lack of transparency.

If you want customers to trust you, you need to ensure honest and clear billing. Please fix this issue in your COD system.

The delivery takes too much of the time, you can improve on this, where Amazon and Flipkart deliver in 1-2 days, 10 days for you does not make sense in today's time. However, the condition of books is good, apart from one book, where I found one page, ripped off.

more than 12 days and still it's "not picked " ....i emailed texted on wp ...no response for days and my order is still not delivered. This was my first time ordering from this site and didn't got my order still and i even don't know when it will be delivered ...so very disappointing.

i got my first labubu here and the service was amazing! the quality is great and worth the price - it came with the blind box, card and toy - would recommend others to get theirs from here!

I ordered 4 books and firstly order get delayed. Then I discovered one book had only 100 pages out of more then 300 pages. 2nd book was a pdf printed copy where there were multiple repeated pages and content. 2 other book were printed very badly like some 20 year old book. I tried to call and messaged on whatsapp but they didn't responded. Not a good place to buy books.

I compared the prices of the books here with Amazon and found it cheaper, also to make sure it's first hand I called them up and took assurance from them. When the package arrived, name of two contents were printed in the shipment although it felt light, and when I opened the package I found only one of them. I immediately contacted them over WhatsApp, Instagram and Email but got no prompt response, they mailed me after two weeks telling me that the other book was not in stock. I asked them either to pay me back or send the other book, it took 2 months push and constant mailing from me to get the other book. This is my first and last purchase from this site, tbh they seem like scamsters.

Got the books in great condition that too at a cheaper price.They were very responsive to all my queries regarding my order.I’m happy with my purchase and will be ordering more books from here very soon.

I ordered one book of Metamorphosis. Instead, I got 2 books. On your website, the book cost rs 199; wherein that book should ideally cost not more than rs. 100.
1. What am I suppose to do with the extra book???
2. Why have you charged extra for the book online???
This is waste of money and waste of an extra book.

This is in addition to the response recd from The Indianbookstore.in; wherein they mentioned "from where did you get to know that the price of the book is rs 100". Well, the printed price on the book is Rs 124/-. So i suppose, the discounted price for purchasing this book should be rs 100 or less.
Secondly, why do I have to approach your customer services?. A feedback was asked, and it was given based on facts. So the question of "bias" doesn't arise.

I compared their prices with Amazon - found them to be cheaper - and ordered. But then read reviews about them on Trustpilot - most of them negative, criticising them left and right - lost all hope of getting the books. But thought, why not give them a chance - it's after all a few hundred rupees.

Lo and behold, I got the books in perfect condition - it's raining cats and dogs here, but the books were so well packed that they could have done a transatlantic journey by floating. They also kept me informed through email, etc., about the progress of my order. The only thing is that the delivery time is slightly longer - or maybe we are spoiled by Blinkit and Amazon delivery times! Overall, a good experience - may order again. Ciao.

Ordered more than 30 books. Great discounted prices on a wide variety of books. Company maintained communication via whatsapp and shared delivery tracking and details promptly via email. All books were delivered in time and in excellent condition. Would be great if the company could provide order confirmation immediately via email/SMS for peace of mind.

I love to buy books from India book store, I brought 3 books having great quality, clean and fast delivery. Customer Service is also very quick.

The quality of books are really good i ordered some books and they deliver on time and the packaging was also good and they also give the bookmark in the packaging overall the experience was good

I had ordered 6 books. Got the delivery after 10 days. The print & page quality is extremely poor.
Mailed them with pics of the books but no response yet.
Similar situation happened with another website in April. They sent me replacement books after verification of the emailed book pictures.

Absolute scam. Sent books late and sent reprinted books. The books were also illegible and printed wrongly. Waste of my money. Please do not give them any more buisness. It's a Scam! They also refused to answer my queries and cut calls when questioned about their service. Biggest scammers on the market.

The book was all torn up in the corner, and it was faded on the front cover and back. A cheap second hand book at the price of a new one.
