Tomahawk Steakhouse in Stockton Heath. Went for lunch. Got there early and so they weren't busy. Our server was really nice. The food wasn't though. My partners Chicken Shawarma had cold tough chicken that tasted of very little with promised elements (from reading the menu) missing from it. The accompanying salad was undressed and looked very much like supermarket 'bistro' salad with some tomato and peppers added. It had some slimey leaves in the bottom of the tiny bowl it came in.

I had a steak which was fine (only fine - no better than that) but the Chimichurri dressing on it tasted of nothing and it seemed small for the promised weight on the menu.

We were glad we didn't order starters and didn't want dessert.

The bill came to slightly over £40 for a Sharmarma wrap, a 8oz rump steak and 2 colas. I would categorise it as rubbish. Overpriced food lazily cooked with no care or love. It wasn't so offensive as to risk 'Winner's dinners' by complaining but instead there are so many better places to go locally and I won't be going back.

Eaten twice in York both occasions cold and tasteless food!
I decided to give it a second try as my first experience was when it had first opened!
Our sharing platter came out with in 5 mins of sitting down, it was even on the table before we had even received our drinks.
I asked for assistance and told a staff member that it was freezing and tasteless.
The waitress then came over asked me to pass her an onion ring so she could check the temperature with her own fingers if we were telling the truth.
That was enough for me to never return!

I had never been to tomahawk stakehouse in Darlington before and I went tonight for my birthday and I have to say the meal was outstanding I would definitely recommend going food quality is 5/5,it's a friendly environment and the service was amazing the staff are so friendly and professional and there is so much to choose from on the menu there is something for everyone.

Visited Yarm branch. I booked for restaurant week (3 courses for £15) was offered 5.15 or 5.30 so took 5.30 only to get there and told that the offer was only till 5pm. Why then was I offered 5.15 or 5.30. The manager was very rude about this and wouldn't budge. Waitresses don't rush to take your order and I had to ask to order. To be fair the meal came quickly. The waitress was very pleasant and did point out at the end about the 10% service charge and said I didn't have to pay it if I didn't want to. Like another person who has done a review I was asked if I wanted water for the table. Never told it would be £3.50 a bottle. Did I think the meal was special - no. Did I think the place had a good atmosphere - no. Did I think the food was overpriced - yes. Would I go again - no.

visited Newcastle Quayside branch today, food was very nice but be aware when they say would you like water it’s £3.50 per bottle, but if it is not expensive enough they sneak a 10% tip on your bill and don’t tell you, i’m annoyed as i did not see this and gave them £5 cash tip, only realised once i’d got home, could potentially be a scam, company need to tell there staff to make customers aware of this 10% tip so they can decide😤

Visited Stockton Heath tomahawk Steakhouse - food cooked to perfection (had a booth for 4 people which was great) no - complaints had a great night will recommend.

STAFF VERY PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. QUAYSIDE NEWCASTLE BRANCH FILTHY OUTSIDE WHEN WE ARRIVED AND STILL THE SAME WHEN WE LEFT. £59 FOR SHARING PLATTER, SIDE PORTIONS RIDICULOUSLY SMALL FOR AVERAGE PRICE OF £4. ONION RINGS ARRIVED WHEN WE WERE NEARLY FINISHED. WORST PART WERE THE TRIPPLE COOKED CHIPS. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, LOOKED OLD, NEARLY BLACK AND NO POTATO INSIDE AND COLD. REPLACEMENT GIVEN, ONLY DIFFERENCE WAS THEY WERE HOT BUT STILL DISGUSTING. TABLE SPOON OR SLIGHTLY MORE BARBECUE SAUCE! RIDICULOUS. MANAGERESS AMENDED THE FINAL BILL, BUT STILL A VERY DISAPPOINTING NIGHT. WILL NOT BE BACK.

Worst food i have eaten in my whole life staff is clueless #ponteland

Avoid going to one of theses restaurant's to eat.
Abuse to staff members over furlough

Goodness me. I have been and the staff were beyond helpfull I hope they find employment where they are respected.

Treatment of your staff at the Beverley branch. Shame on you. Please avoid but comment on their FB page - they are quite busy blocking people.
