Beware Truegrounding are scammers

Truegrounding don't even deserve 1 star. Purchased a grounding mat as I foolishly believed what was on their website. Grounding mat didn't work. The website states 'money back guarantee, no questions asked' If not satisfied. I have asked Truegrounding for a refund several times but keep getting fobbed off. There's a saying 'if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is'. Do not buy anything from this company. They are scammers.

Claims to be a US company

Claims to be a US company but their items ship DIRECT from China so when the sheet doesn’t work, you have to pay return shipping but they don’t bother to supply any info on how to do that. Their customer service sucks, their items do not do what they claim to do. I am asking my credit card company to fight the charges and I reported them to the FTC; I suggest filing a complaint with the FTC (or your country’s dept for consumer fraud) too if you’re here because you got scammed. Their reviews are fake so I’ll also be contacting Shopify (their website host).

Sham of a company

I echo everything said below. Grounding sheet did absolutely nothing for me. I've emailed them several times for return instructions as they tell you to do under '90 day trial', but I've heard nothing. Feel all I can do now is leave bad review every time they pop up on social media

Avoid at all cost

Avoid at all cost! If you are smart enough to see past the fake reviews and are now looking on here and are still thinking to order then stop! If you have ordered and then try to cancel the order then you’ll be ignored. I sent several as in 6-7 emails to a Tony posing as a customer service representative who will ignore all of your requests to cancel the order no matter how many times you message them. The telephone number is fake and not a real number, no dial. All emails to customer service address are ignored. You won’t receive any Confirmation that the order was even processed so you’ll think you can cancel the order. Three days later you’ll receive confirmation of dispatch and then you’ll have to wait for the delivery of no doubt will be a dud product. Money is immediately taken out of your account. You won’t trust the returns policy either and no doubt the shipping will be highly expensive as this outfit is not UK based as it presents to be. I wish I’d just given 58£ to the homeless and not to this scum. You won’t ever receive a order confirmation email or text yet they’ll ensure you receive shipping notifications despite you having tried relentlessly to have cancelled the order even within minutes of ordering, you’ll be ignored. Several days later you’ll receive shipping dispatch and some piece of dodgy product will arrive which you won’t trust to switch on because it’ll probably be unsafe and never tested to safe standards. Complete rubbish and fraudulent pop up site plaguing on most search engines. BEWARE! REPORT YOUR EXPERIENCE TO TRUSTED CONSUMER SITES AND BANKING SYSTEMS.

I ditto all the other reviews. Grounding Sheet didn’t do a thing. Customer service terrible. Their email address stopped accepting my emails after I sent a few successful emails - very strange. It was like they blocked me. Total waste of money. Please avoid - I wish I had seen these reviews before I bought.

Sheet did not fit as stated


Edit 3rd March I have now received my refund, I eventually I got the required outcome. My recommendation is to double check the sizing you need, I assumed that Californian King being the next size up from king size would fit my super king size bed but it wasn’t wide enough, anyway thank you eventually for my refund

Company replied eventually with a return address, I have sent it back as a tracked item, let’s see what happens. I will update as soon as I get my refund. Cost me £22 to send it as a tracked item!

Sheet did not fit as stated, I am trying to return it, someone called Tony replied to my email to ask did I want another one that was a fitted type, I replied that I didn’t but want a refund please, he said he is happy to guide me through the return process but now they are not replying to emails, also some of the emails just bounce back to me saying “recipient suspected email is spam” so I am now left unable to return.

1 star because 0 isn’t an option!!

1 star because I can’t give 0! 1. This is a Chinese company which isn’t stated, 2. You have to pay for a return, 3. They have now stopped accepting emails there’s a failed to deliver notice when I try to email from the same email which was working yesterday. Tried another email and same issue so they’ve clearly shut down that email account whether permanently or temporarily I suspect due to high traffic of complaints… AND FINALLY 4. This grounding sheet does the OPPOSITE of grounding. We tested it and both of us go up not down on the readings. I go from 0.1 to a whopping 3.6 when touching the sheet!! Absolutely madness, complete waste of money and utter garbage product. No idea where they’re getting their reviews from on their website as you can’t even leave one after purchasing!! Clearly they are not real! AVOID!!!

This company is misleading people

This company is misleading people! They advertised themselves as a USA company but the only thing that's American is the website.The products they sell are made in China and shipped from China and that's not mentioned on the website, I found out only when I checked the tracking system as it took a while to be delivered.I've done my order on 10th January and it's been delivered on 23th! If I would like a product from China I would have ordered from Temu . I've ordered two pillowcases and a sheet, but the order came it only one cable instead of three! So I can only use one product at the time. And in a situation like this, good luck with returning the products considering the customer is paying for the return all the way to China. Strongly advise not to order from this company, save your money and go with a reputable company

Scamming vulnerable people.

They advertised as a USA company, but they are shipping their products from China. I had so many bad experiences with ghost companies like this, where you get a rubbish product. WARNING! Selling their products in Europe (the UK, in my case), and they expect you to cover the cost of the return plus taxes. As we don't know where the products are coming from, I feel that I was misled. Imagine the amount of money you have to pay to get the product returned. I buy from the UK because no information is on their website; I expect the return to happen within the UK, not China or anywhere else. Too many scams are happening on Facebook and all these social media platforms; no one is checking the legitimacy of these businesses.
