This is a great resource, it has allowed me to try two similar lenses to compare against each other before purchase. In my case a RF 24-70 f/28 L vs a 24-105 f/4 L. I half expected the 24-70 f/2.8 to be the better lens. But, it wasn’t, for me the extra reach of the 24-105 was more useful and overcame the issues I’d expect with Bokeh, and surprisingly it was actually sharper at the same aperture. As I use 2 different bodies, the R6 mk II allows for better low light performance than the R5 mk II does. Which means that f/4 is adequate. IBIS effectiveness is also a big plus. If it wasn’t for Try the Kit I may have had to sell the R6 MKii to fund it. So, win win. Just shows “Holy Grail” is not the same for all users. it goes great with my RF 100-500.

Camera and lens delivered early, very well packaged. I missed a delivery note stating what was in the box - I missed the two batteries included in the delivery. Collection all went smoothly - missed delery note to check what was mine and what wasn’t. Other than that all excellent

Really good experience with the Lumix Loan service. Everything was straightforward from the beginning, communication was clear, and the kit arrived on time and very well packed.

I had the Lumix S1RII with the 24–70mm f/2.8 and 50mm f/1.4 lenses, and it was brilliant being able to properly use such high-end equipment for a few days rather than just handling it briefly in a shop. The detailed equipment report was also very reassuring, especially as it clearly documented the existing condition of the camera and lenses before the loan.

Return was simple and well organised too. Overall, I found the whole service genuinely useful and very well run. It is a great way to actually try a camera system in real-world use before spending a large amount of money on it.
