I'm from Italy.
I purchased a stellaris notebook two months ago.
The pc was delivered in some days, the package was robust and safe, the components was the ones that I purchased.
I used this pc to train ML models and create cluster architectures, I hardly stressed it and it always worked very well.
I suggest Tuxedo OS distribution because it contains tools for optimize and monitoring the components.
The materials used are very good, the screen and the keyboard too.
The price fits with the product.
I suggest you this company and tuxedo products !

Denkt man an Informationstechnologie, so denkt man an Großkonzerne aus dem Silicon Valley ... . Im Vergleich dazu, ist Tuxedo eine kleine, aber sehr feine Adresse, die besondere Rechner vertreibt, mit eigener Linux-Variante ein Gefühl von Freiheit vermittelt und wo man schnell und sehr gut geholfen bekommt, wenn es denn doch mal ein Problem gibt!

TLDR: From Ordering to having used for eveything I can think of for a week; this has been the best laptop I have ever had, and I have had some pretty high end ones.

For those who are interested, here's my experience: I had decided that windows had gone too far, and copilot was out of control... so I turned to my old friend, linux. After running a few different distros (I needed to catch up with the last 20 years of progress) I found that there really was no reason for me to go back to windows. I started looking at dedicated systems and having considered system 76, Tuxedo, and a few others, I settled on Tuxedo due partly to their dedication to progressing the project (linux in general) and partially to what they do in the greater community, but mostly, they had the best performance for the buck that I have ever seen in their software and system integration.

I installed the Tuxedo OS on an MSI summit and got to know the KDE plasma environment that they have expanded to suite their systems, and I loved it for a month before I decided to take the leap and order a laptop. I found that they had announced the new TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro 14 - Gen10 and offered it with the (soon to be available) AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, and the total price was on par with what I usually expect to spend on a laptop... so I obviously had to place the order immediately. I also opted for the 128G ram and the 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO for storage.

I paid some dollar bucks and waited... impatiently. lol

It's been a week now and I have thoroughly put this new laptop through the paces, attempting to push it a bit and finding it doesn't easily break a sweat. The case build quality is great, on par with or slightly nicer than my MSI summit or a macbook pro. but with so much more inside. The hardware in this laptop stomps on what my other laptops have, yet it's just as portable and the battery life is more than I'm used to.

When they say it's ready to go out of the box, they're not joking. I had this going 4 minutes after cutting the tape on the box, and about 20 minutes later I had my network protocols and security done, everything I use for business installed and running, and I was off to the races.

So, my final thoughts are that I don't think I could be happier with my purchase. I am already recommending Tuxedo Computers to all my friends and collegues, and as far as I can see, I'm a Tuxedo customer for life.

Tux, thank you for building something (hardware and your OS) that has me actually enjoying my computer again. I had forgotten that I actually really like computers, I was stuck in the mundane world of microsoft where I was just a slave to the system and dreading turning on my computer for "work". Now I turn my computer on and feel like I can breathe again. My computer is powerful, my distro is clean, swift, and reliable, and I am free.

Der technische Support ist wirklich hervorragend: meist sehr zügig und kompetent. Bei meinem IB Pro wurde weiterhin sehr kulant mit einem Hardware Problem umgegangen - ohne große Diskussionen wurde Ersatz geschickt. Schön, dass es auch so was noch in Deutschland gibt!

Würde ich nicht empfehlen. Vor dem Einschalten war ich vom Produkt und der Verpackung sehr positiv überrascht. Die Hardware ist schick und gut, aber für den Preis erwarte ich ein abgestimmtes Linux und von Beginn an reibungslos funktionierende Hardware (Webcam stottert, unbrauchbar – einfaches Aktualisieren via eigenem Config-Tool schuf allerdings Abhilfe).

Kaufe ich ein Gerät bei einem üblichen Hersteller und installiere ein gängiges Linux, funktioniert in der Regel alles. Im Zweifelsfall erwarte ich gegebenenfalls, noch einmal selbst Hand anlegen zu müssen – dafür bezahle ich ja auch nicht extra.

Bei Tuxedo bezahle ich explizit viel Geld, um genau das nicht zu haben.

Bei Fragen muss man sich an einen Telefon-Support (!) mit Öffnungszeiten wenden (meinetwegen auch per E-Mail) oder gleich Remote Sessions beantragen. Es gibt kein Handbuch (was viele Fragen sicherlich gleich erschlagen würde, ohne den teuren Support mitzufinanzieren). Die Website mit ihrer FAQ-Sammlung wirkt eher durchwachsen. Die Entscheidung den Support scheinbar immer durch persönlichen Kontakt abzuwickeln, halte ich zumindest für erstaunlich.

Das OS mit den selbst entwickelten Anwendungen ist soweit okay, aber es schadet nicht, mit Linux umgehen zu können.

Ergonomisch ist mein Gerät nicht unbedingt, da das gesamte Gehäuse keinerlei Beschriftungen der Anschlüsse aufweist, aber das mag man unter persönlicher Vorliebe verbuchen.

Fazit: Für das, was man bekommt, sind sie zu teuer, und ich halte die Geräte für überbewertet und insbesondere die Idee des hauseigenen OS. Ich sehe den Mehrwert im Vergleich zu den üblichen Herstellern nicht. Als Geschäftskunde kann ich das Gerät leider nicht zurückschicken – die Hardware an sich ist ja funktional und schick. Am Ende ist es ein Computer, der hoffentlich eine Weile hält.

Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen sich vor dem Kauf ausführlich über die Produktphilosophie zu informieren, da hier vieles anders ist im Vergleich zu den üblichen Herstellern.

Ein grosses Update hat das booten des Rechners in die graphische Oberfläche verhindert, Pakete waren nicht korrekt installiert worde.
Eine abendliche Mail wurde noch am gleichen Abend beantwortet, eine Lösung konnte dann im laufe des nächsten Tages schnell gefunden werden. Vielen herzlichen Dank.

Mein Tuxedo-Laptop verweigerte das Plasma-Update auf Grund von mir installierten und nicht supporteten Repositories. Bin leider (noch) kein Unix-Guru. Trotz dieser von mir zu verantwortenden Probleme wurde mit sehr kompetent und äußerst zeitnah per e-Mail geholfen. DAS WAR SUPPORT VOM FEINSTEN, vielen Dank dafür. So etwas findet man heutzutage nicht mehr oft. Ein Grund mehr, einen TUXEDO zu besitzen.

Bought my very first Linux laptop from Tuxedo and its been smooth sailing. The build quality is absolutely fantastic, and I love the keyboard. If you are used to a Mac - like I am - then of course there are some changes but with a bit of tinkering, especially on how the trackpad behaves I have now a FANTASTIC laptop for my business with my own company logo printed on it. I will replace eventually all my computers with Linux laptops apart from the one I use for music/video production.

Ich habe mir vor einigen Wochen einen TUXEDO InfinityFlex gekauft und bin vollauf zufrieden. Das Betriebssystem läuft einwandfrei, der Rechner ist sehr schnell. Damit ist der Umstieg von Windows auf Linux ein voller Erfolg und ich werde sicher nicht mehr zurückwechseln.

Sehr gute Hardware und der Support ist unschlagbar. Gerade eben erst so schnell (per email), daß er nur hätte schneller sein können, wenn er schon hier neben,dem Laptop gesessen hätte.

Nach einem Update vom Tuxedo OS startete VirtualBox nicht mehr. Über die Support Seite bat ich um Unterstützung und schickte ein einen Screenshots von der Systemmeldung mit.
Ca. 30 min später war die Antwort da, welcher Befehl wahrscheinlich helfen wird. So war es dann auch.

Sehr schönes Gerät, sehr guter Support bei Problemen. Da gibt es nichts auszusetzen.

Wie immer schneller und erfolgreicher Support

I had significant problems with their operating system (Tuxedo OS) after a major upgrade. After sending a support request, they responded within an hour and helped me resolve the problem within 24 hours. Worth mentioning is that this is quite an improvement over my experience with their software support I had previously (an year earlier).

Habe inzwischen drei Geräte bei Tuxedo gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Ich hatte bisher weder mit
Hardware noch mit Software ernsthafte Probleme.
Hatte jetzt Probleme mit der Cloud (myTuxedo), habe den Support angeschrieben und schnell war das Problem gelöst. Vielen Dank dafür

Ich habe mein Problem dem kompetent und freundlichen Mitarbeiter des Telefon Service geschildert. Nach kurzer Zeit bekam ich eine E-Mail mit einer genauen Schritt für Schritt Anleitung (sogar nach der Garantiezeit). Damit konnte ich mein Problem lösen. Besser und schneller geht es nicht.

I couldnt find the right setting for the keyboard, this was very quickly solved by the technical support in a very professional and kind manner

The build quality of the laptop is terrible - it feels like a cheap knockoff. I've used two laptops, one personal and one for work, and on both, the Enter key fell off. There were also issues with the 1 and Alt keys. I contacted Tuxedo support, but they said the keyboard isn't available and asked me to wait. I've waited a month, two months, three months - a whole year - and still nothing. Can you imagine? The manufacturer doesn't even have replacement keyboards for its own laptops. Moreover, they don't seem to care. I regret ever dealing with this company. Right now, all I want is to fix these damn keys and resell my personal laptop.
