Reimbursement Request
This was my first reimbursement request and was a bit nervous on how the process might work. However, I found the process so simple and easy and payment was extremely quick.

Hopeless service
I work with a very big investment bank.I had applied for a claim under my group insurance policy from my corporate as I had been working partial hours due to two accidents in the last two years I am at the verge of a spinal surgery now. It's been 10 months since my claim was submitted. No positive response till now. they take months to reply. Because they are not processing my claim I am unable to go on full time leave due to financial issues.

Absolutely 5 stars to Unum Dental. I wholeheartedly recommend Unum to anyone looking for private dental insurance.
My dentist was not forthcoming with information for a claim. I spoke to Jodie (Unum claims), she was professional, courteous and well informed and efficiently resolved the matter, which was way beyond me. Jodie went above and beyond!
Online claims process is easy to follow, or you can email. Calls are UK based and answered quickly. Claims are paid within a few days. Brilliant Company.

Misled Customer
Dental started off well, received some claims.
Then had a pulp extraction, claimed under 'Extractions'. Received payment for my claims followed by an email a couple of days later stating they have incorrectly paid the reimbursement as it comes under 'Root Canal' and 'Extractions' are only for tooth extractions so I sent the payment back.
Checked the policy wording and nowhere does it state 'Tooth Extractions'.
I raised this with customer services, who did not answer my questions and instead forwarded my email to complaints department.
Complaints co-ordinator acknowledged my complaint and advised handler details.
It's been over 2 weeks now and no contact regarding my complaint at all. The complaints process advises there will be regular updates which is subjective.
Terrible experience and do not feel as a valued customer!
