Signed up through my work

Signed up through my work to NHS dental plan, then my dentist quit, tried to cancel and apparently I can't for the next 11 months as you can only apparently cancel for a couple of weeks in a year, so paying £80 for nothing as no.othwe NHS dentists in my area

Unum Dental Plan-Happy Customer

I have had a Unum Dental plan for several months now and have made 2 claims on it so far. Supplying receipts is Straight forward and both of my claims were approved in less then a week without the need for more information. Doesn’t take long to fill the claim form online either. Also the premium seems reasonable compared to
Other companies I have looked up.

The worst help for an cancer patient

The worst help for an oncology patient! Waiting more than a month to determine the status of my claim. How is a man who has received the worst possible diagnosis of his life supposed to live and recover if he has no secured income, even though he signed a contract with you? Fast track payment for critical illnesses, for cancer patients with this company is a myth!!!
Do you need more of my time? After the most serious surgery? After chemotherapy and before the next chemotherapy? What else do you want to confirm having medical records for a month? Confirmation from God that hI am still alive?

DISGRACEFUL LACK OF CUSTOMER SEVICE HOLDING ON TO YOUR MONEY

APPALLING ING CUSTOMER SERVICE ! Just spoke to complaints team not interested as person not in who’s dealing with complaint and even my frustration in my voice has 8 weeks to bother to try and help customer even though this is the first time I’ve called . Called claim settlement as sent 20 contact us on the website submitting all documents asked for with them also ringing the dentist several times to make sure I’m not obviously lying , waste of time, not interested in explaining why no refund for treatment done over 20 days ago as bit more expensive than just a filing .
STILL NO REFUND

Easy to use, Service has always been great

We have a company policy through my spouse. It's easy to use and claims have been quick and easy. Majority have been 100% money back.
When we have issues with logging into our online account, staff have been quick and maintained great service experience.

This was my first (and last) time using this service

This was my first (and last) time using this app to book a counselling service. I was going through a difficult time and needed help from an experienced counsellor. However, my experience with the app was disappointing.
Upon downloading the app, it required an extensive amount of personal information, which seemed excessive. After providing all the necessary details, I finally made an appointment. When I met the "counsellor," she requested even more data.
The final straw was when she informed me that our session would be recorded for training and quality control purposes. Despite assurances of confidentiality, I found it hard to believe that my sensitive conversation would remain private if it was recorded and shared with the team.
I was shocked and declined the service, as it should have been clearly stated from the beginning that recording sessions was a requirement. This app-driven "talking therapy" has lost the human-centered approach I was seeking, and I am terribly disappointed. I now prefer to contact BCAP-accredited counsellors directly.

Appointments are with clinicians from our third-party partner Square Health, who are fully qualified to provide counselling services. When you register for the first time, the app collects personal details and medical history to help the clinicians understand more about you and provide tailored support.

We understand that counselling sessions may involve personal issues, but Square Health records sessions to benefit all parties and to help address any concerns raised. However, all recordings are governed to the strictest levels of protection, with only a very small number of staff at Square Health able to access them and only if required.

We have raised your concerns with Square Health so they can get in touch to discuss your feedback and provide assistance.

Great service and transparency!

I added Unum dental to my benefits at work. I chose tier 3 for me and my husband. I had a few issues recently and asked for the money back. Unum dental is very transparent regarding what they are covering with an easy to understand benefit table. Also, submitting a claim is effortless via their online portal. Can recommend this dental insurance to anyone.

Claiming your money back

I have claimed back twice now and this is effortless so simple and easy to use the app, just select your treatment type, upload your receipt and away you go. It say up to 10 days to get the money back in your account. It only took me 4 days, I applied for it on the Thursday it went into my bank on the Monday. Excellent service so far.

Possibly the worse GPs I have ever met…

Possibly the worse GPs I have ever met on my life. Completely lacking in empathy, spend more time discussing your payment options then they do actually trying to help people.

They can't even diagnose you as it's all done online. If you need a prescription or a referral, it is hidden behind a pay wall. I'm guessing a kind word or any kind of human emotion or compassion is available with a price tag

If this is what healthcare in this country is coming to then there is seriously no hope.

We’re sorry to hear you weren’t satisfied with the Help@hand remote GP service, which offers appointments with qualified, UK-registered GPs and is provided by our third-party partner Square Health.

Square Health does require payment for some onward services such as referral letters and fit notes, but these services are optional and the GP should clearly explain this, as well as any potential fees during the appointment so you can decide how you would like to proceed.
