The process was good as can be expected. I would do it again.

Love the bike !!
I waited to receive the new bike before offering my current bike for sale.
Be aware the $150 new bike discount given after selling a bike does not apply if you buy the bike first.
I even keep the box and packing to return the old bike. I kept both bikes threw away the box ☹️

I was giving it 5 stars.

I was giving it 5 stars, because they did what they said they would do. Then, i realized they won't let you just submit 5 stars. So, it's now a 4 star review with a rant about how annoying it is to give a company your time and money for a product or service, only to have them reach back out and ask for more of your time to tell them how they did. This review was free, but the next one will cost Upway money. My choice to buy from Upway was the result of a lot of research. This research pointed me at them. When one of the bikes i was interested in popped up, i bought it. Also, The Sundays Insurance policy i bought seems ridiculous. They have so many restrictions on how you must leave your bike that it is nearly impossible to be stolen. So, I spent $300 on what was basically a flyer teaching me how to lock up my bike. So, yeah. Be well, y'all.

Very straightforward instructions

Very straightforward instructions. I picked up a box at a local bike shop, attached the label i downloaded. It was picked up on my prescribed day and arrived at Upway two days later. The money was deposited into my account 2 days later. So simple even this 83 y o technophobe could do it.

In a world of online companies that "oversell" their products and capabilities, UPWAY stands heads-and-shoulders above all the other online used Bike retailers. By like 3 miles. My bike was packaged expertly and included very clear and simple assembly instructions in a well-done 3 page color pamphlet. When my bike developed a warranty issue, UPWAY (Christopher- thanks) was 200% in my corner and almost immediately stated that 'whatever the issue, we will stand by our Guarantee and cover you. - parts & labor.
I could not be more pleased with these guys and they have my Highest Recommendation.

Quick delivery

Quick delivery, bicycle was exactly as advertised. Went together pretty easily but front fender was more work than expected. Overall great.

Bad bike, great customer service

The bike showed up completely dirty and in poor condition, not safe to ride. The pdf checklist on their website wasn’t an accurate representation of the bikes condition. I talked to 3 bike shops that wouldn’t take on the warranty/ repair work. Whoever thought it was a good idea to take someone’s money and send them a bike in that condition deserves zero stars. The customer service rep who immediately responded and jumped on the phone with me and got me through the return process deserves 5 stars and a nod from his management team. He was understanding, empathetic and a total professional. Thank you, Christopher. Wishing you all the best!

Great Deal for a great bike!

Bike arrive quickly and was very easy to set up. The Scott Voltage 920 we purchased was never ridden and was an incredible deal! My wife loves it and it's been a game changer for our MTBing.

The product offering is great

The product offering is great. prices are great. Concept is wonderful. Shipping was a huge surprise. Almost $400! Price of trike plus shipping was almost same as buying new locally and riding it home. That was a significant issue. Buyer beware.

Please consider adding an objective list of possible reasons a bike might not be right for a given customer.
Examples:
This bike may not be suitable for off-road.
This bike is designed for heavier riders
This product may require higher shipping charges due to “common truck delivery”
This bike is not intended for passive use. This is a high performance machine intended for aggressive, experienced riders.

Otherwise, I love you guys and will purchase again.

Surprise frame damage and no help from Upway

I opened the box for my bike and immediately saw deep, deep gouges in the frame of my bike. This frame damage was impossible to see on mobile but HUGE in real life! Like others have said, my delivery was also missing tools, and even if they had sent all of them, assembly would still have taken far longer than the promised 15 minutes. (It took me over an hour to get the bike ready to ride.)

Customer service was a nightmare. They were completely unhelpful and unempathetic, instead promising that they inspected everything themselves so it must be safe.

I don't know how I can trust them after this experience. They promise a 14-day return guarantee, but they make you pay $200 for a restocking fee, plus you have to pack it yourself -- something difficult, if not impossible, for a regular person to do with a 75-pound electric bike!

I saved a few bucks buying through Upway. But I wish I had just given the money to a local bike shop that was actually accountable to its customers, rather than a shady online retailer that doesn't seem to care about its customers once they've taken their money!

Upway does a great job displaying and…

Upway does a great job displaying and giving all info on the bike needed to purchase. Their info on my bike helped greatly in making my decision. The box it came in was brilliantly constructed, so I kept it if I decide to trade later on down the line.

Okay experience

Bike arrived with loose seat and a wobbly front wheel. Either the rim is bent or the tire is seated unevenly. It’s a folding bike and the folding stem clamp was loose leading to play in the steering. All fairly easy to fix but I’m used to a better experience with Upway. Long shipping time too

I had a solid purchase experience!

I had a solid purchase experience! So much so that days later bought a second e-bike from Upway for my wife. Prices are very reasonable and competitive for the used e-bike market. Shipping was crazy fast, both bikes came with almost zero issues. My bike arrived with a bent front sprocket but I reached out to Upway and they were committed to making it right. Likely happened during transit and nothing on Upway’s part. Bike you see and purchase on the site is the bike you get. No switcheroo’s or false advertisement. If you’re considering purchasing an e-bike I highly suggest you look at Upway’s current and ever changing pre-owned inventory. Some bikes are like brand new. Upway will be the first place I recommend to friends and family looking to buy an e-bike.

Customer service

Customer service, I spoke with 3 different people in person at the pick up location in Los Angeles, Ca. before they fixed the bike and when it was ready no one contacted me, this went on for about 2 weeks very disappointing
