Tough post sale support

Pre sale: 5 stars. Bike selection was excellent, and every rep I spoke with beforehand was knowledgeable and helpful.
Post sale: This is where Upway needs to improve. A glitch with their payment processor Splitit caused my card to be charged three times for one bike. It took over a dozen calls and a week of back and forth to get the extra charges reversed, and Upway initially denied any issue on their end. A $125 credit only came after I mentioned leaving a review, which did not reflect the effort the resolution took.
Bottom line: great bikes and a strong pre sale team, but be ready to advocate for yourself if something goes wrong after purchase.

Faults…

First I was emailed the wrong tracking number. Finally received the bike and the motor was locked and I needed to bring it to a dealer since upway did not perform the hand-over process. I called and they said they forgot. Then the first ride the rear brake lever just went to the bar. Had to bring it back to the shop for them to tighten the brakes and bleed it.

We agree that this is not how the bike should have arrived, and are willing to do what we can to turn this experience around for you, for the better.

Upway.co recognizes that our in-house Technicians have the capacity to miss an issue prior to shipping out a bike, or an issue may appear down the line. We provide a 12-month Limited Warranty with every bike we sell, to support our riders if ever a event like was to arise. In times like this, we work with our riders and their local shop to repair any damage that may have been received during shipping, or was missed by our Technicians.

Again, we regret that this experience fell on you. We don't see a record of you reaching out about this, and we are unsure if you were able to get this resolved, as per the Limited Warranty policy. An agent of ours will reach out to see how we can provide assists and further value.

Upway is great! (Fedex sucks)

We purchased two bikes and received one with no problems! The other one FedEx lost somehow but the people at upway were amazing! They helped us get a refund and find a new bike that fit all our needs!

Great Experience

I purchased what turned out to be an essentially brand new e-bike (2 miles on it according to the computer) for a great price. I had questions so I called the company and talked to a REAL person who actually loved biking and could answer questions. The bike arrived on time, well packaged, and in pristine condition. I have been riding the heck out of it and grinning every mile. In fact, why am I typing this? I need to go ride!

Great experience I would buy from upway again

I had a great buying experience at upway, bike was top notch at a great price. Everything on the bike was checked out and in great working condition, two of my friends have now bought off upway. One improvement that could be made if upway would reset log in passkeys for all used e bikes.

Outstanding service and prices

Outstanding service and prices. Ordered an e mtn bike for my wife. It was delivered in timely manner. Bike was in great condition. Unfortunately had to return the bike because of size issues. Return process was excellent, with quick refund. Still looking for another bike.

Awesome Selling Experience

Due to a move I had to sell my 2025 Specialized Tero X4.0, with only 234 miles on it. I'd seen Upway's adds, so jumped on their website and started the process of selling my bike to them. Super simple, easy screens to follow and I received a fantastic quote very quickly. From there I was constantly kept updated on each next step. Great to do business with and really fair on their price!!

E Bike Doesn't Turn On

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my brand-new Orbea Rise SL H20, which has been completely non-functional since the day I received it. The bike does not power on at all. This product was delivered dead on arrival. I have repeatedly contacted your support team to resolve this issue. I have already provided all requested documentation, including detailed photographs and video evidence proving the bike will not turn on.
Despite my full cooperation, I have received absolutely zero technical guidance or troubleshooting steps. Furthermore, I explicitly requested that your team authorize and arrange for me to bring the bike to an authorized Orbea dealer here in the Boise, Idaho area for inspection and repair. I have received no response to this request. The complete lack of communication and resolution is unacceptable for a premium product.
