Do not use this service
Do not use this service, they are criminals. It is already taken 4 years to get my paid taxes back. They don't respond on emails or any other contact measure you take. They say the request has been approved (after 2 years) and it has been 2 year further and they still haven't paid it out. , you did not message me untill I posted this review. Still no reply on my reply and no payment yet. And now you flagged my review , no wonder there are no real experience reviews on here.

Great customer service
I am impressed with the assistance from the help via email.. And the refund is easy to do it yourself without queing in the airport or like we had to que at the outlets for tax refund registration.

Easy to use. However, users submitting for Netherlands refund must follow the guide from Schipol instead the guide on this website (need to get/print a form for custom to stamp).

You’re right — Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is the only EU airport where it’s not mandatory to bring a tax-free form to customs. Your purchase receipt or invoice is sufficient to obtain export validation.

Deze partij weet waar ze het over hebben. Wij hebben er meerdere keren gebruik gemaakt en altijd meer teruggekregen dan van andere partijen. Als er problemen ontstaan is de helpdesk accuraat en vlot, let er wel op dat de concurrentie groot is en sommige winkels er baat bij hebben met een andere partij (GB) te werken omdat ze daar kickback van ontvangen. Winkel niet bij zulke winkels1

Wij vinden het belangrijk dat de btw-teruggave zoveel mogelijk ten goede komt aan de consument, zoals het bedoeld is, en niet (deels) bij de winkel belandt, zoals inderdaad bij sommige andere tax-free partijen. Nogmaals dank voor uw vertrouwen, en we hopen u in de toekomst weer van dienst te mogen zijn!

Vatfree is super fast, and no bank transactio fees were deducted (with their main competitor I get deducted transaction fees in addition to the service charge) and their responsiveness via email is second to none, friendly, and they clearly read the questions. I wish I could use them more, like in Spain

System/procedure:
superior to the competitors; highest refund (guaranteed), can be used at almost all stores, easy, fast, efficient i.e. hassle-free, everything digital and no extra paperwork by post required.
The only thing needed for VAT-refund: receipt with VAT from a Store with stamp at Customs. Done!
E.g. no other extra separate VAT paper forms to fill in and to send by post.

Process and experience was good
Process and experience was good. Commission rates are not. I was able to receive a refund of 110€ on a purchase with a VAT of 179€. It's still better than nothing but I think it's excessive.
