Went in on the fly to see if they could repair my bike, where it was put on a bike stand and checked, explained what was and demonstrated what would be required to repair it, no waffle, just professional and experienced

The guys are exceptional, experienced and trusted by everyone I know who’s taken their bikes in.
Personally I had an issue with my derailleur cable, rang up, told be to bring it ASAP, repairer in a few hours

Things like gear cables can be so frustrating, as it stops the use of the bike completely when it fails, getting it resolved quickly is something we always try to do so we can help keep people on the road.

I’ve used cycle hub a couple of times recently for hiring bicycles, also bicycle repair and parts. I find them to be personable and very knowledgeable. They seem to care about the cyclists and the experience they have using the hub. Not money minded like some big chain shops. Secure bike parking options and showers available if needed when commuting or even cycling in to town for personal reasons. I would definitely recommend the hub !!

My son (aged 14) has done the Essential Maintenance course, Advanced Brakes and Advanced Gears courses. He loved every minute of it and now doesn't leave his own bike alone.
The people running the course were easy to talk to and communicated well with me so I vould book with him. They were great with letting my son take in the information how he needed to and were happy to cater for him where they could.
My son is eyeing up the other Advanced courses they do and will be back to complete these.

It was a pleasure! Our workshops will be back up and running soon and you'll be the first to know when they are! It's great to hear he's been repairing his own bike and it's amazing they're using the skills outside of the workshop! Tell him to keep it up and he'll end up replacing us soon!
Great place, very welcome addition and location for the towns cyclists. Their knowledge and experience is brilliant. I’ve had several bikes serviced, done workshops with them, and had occasional maintenance work done.
Price wise, in line with other “higher end” places, not the cheapest, but you’re paying enough to be confident the work is done right.
I’ve had to take bikes back several times to other shops with issues that weren’t fully fixed, no such problems here.
Very welcoming bunch too of you’re passing by.
