Webuycyle has been formed by a small group of local cyclists and friends who love cycling. We have been riding bicycles for years and compete locally, nationally and even internationally at triathlon and time-trialling. We are a genuine company run by genuine people with actual city-centre premises. After some time of buying and building bikes, we realise that selling them on is not always straightforward and that not everybody enjoys the potential hassle associated with using auction sites. Reasonable price. Quick delivery(came before it said it would, courier supplied accurate delivery slot and updates)
Bike came boxed better than it would if it was new! Assembly was easy and overall super impressed with the service.
But, I do have one simple suggestion, would be ideal if there were more images on the site and if they were of higher quality to really be able to zoom in and see any cosmetic damage.
Overall, excellent service - will definitely use again. Thanks!

Many thanks for the review Liam. We are conscious that some people find that our images are not easy to supersize for inspection, without losing some definition. Rest assured, as it was in the case of your bike purchase, if we felt that there were any marks/cosmetic defects worthy of photographing/describing, then we would have done so. We understand buyers' concerns about condition if they are buying at distance from us, but the vast majority of our customers are extremely happy with the condition of bikes that they receive (glad to see that we could include you in these numbers) and in fact our bikes often exceed buyer expectations when they arrive.

I was offered the best price by far out of all the high end used bike sellers and without doubt Webuycycle is the best out there in terms of fairness, customer service and advice. Thanks very much Paul and all at Webuycycle for the outstanding service.

Near new bike for half price
Hi there
I have to say that the 2020 Creo you just sold me is amazing. Were it not for the evidence of a paint scrape on the inside of the rear stays, you would swear that this bike was new. Everything is present and in perfect nick. The bike box was new and the bike packing within it was exemplary. Even the handbook has no evidence of being read. I am absolutely delighted and cannot imagine how this bike came to be in such a wonderful state.

only disc brake bikes - horrible site dont use
I wanted to sell my wonderful Crabon Frame, Shimano Ultegra 8000 bike, which weighs just 8KG and goes like a rocket, but the team refused the sale, claiming that the market is only for bikes with disc brakes!!! It's ridiculous...apparently they exclusively buy disc brake bikes! What a pity...
Are Carbon Ceramic brakes standard on all Porsches? man, please close this site

There’s little point in us buying lemons (rim brake models) if buyers prefer oranges (disc brake bikes)
8kg on a carbon rim brake is nothing to get carried away by in all fairness either.
You’ll find a buyer but the likelihood is that it will not meet our target resale figure of £750+ net, which is clearly stated on our website and judging by your response, you will be expecting far more.
I’m afraid that in many markets, fashions & desirability change & we have to go along with this (despite the fact that we may still have rim brake bikes in our own personal stock).
We are not WebuyANYcycle, so no need to sound so bitter really.

Will definitely use again.
The helpful staff made the whole selling process easy from start to finish. That coupled with a competitive price for my cycle means I would not hesitate to recommend or use again in the future. I was expecting that once they had my bicycle in their possession a lesser offer would be made as per some other buying sites but they were good to their word and prompt payment was received. Five stars all round.

Great service
Great service. Did everything that they said they would. An easy system to follow when asking for a quote. As simple as sending some photos of the bike and they provided a quote. Paul then sent a clear and concise set of details and process to go through and how to deliver the bike. Money (full value from original quote) was in the bank a few hours after they received the bike. Top service. Highly recommend. If anyone is looking to sell on a high end spec bike, go to WeBuyCycle.

A really quick straightforward service - I wanted a bike Monday afternoon - received it by courier wednesday morning! Good conversation on phone with the team, answered my questions and dealt with the purchase no hassle no sale pressure!

Easy Transaction
Nice bunch of chaps that offered me a good price for my e-bike. After a quick inspection, the money was sent instantly into my bank account. I would definitely recommend getting a quote from them before going thru the pain and suffering of ebay selling.

Poor communication and the item sent…
Poor communication and the item sent was not as described. This is a breach of consumer law. After I received the bike and questioned that it was not as described this was the reply (see below) In my view there is quite a difference in the saddle advertised having carbon rails etc versus the entry level toupe but as webuycycles suggest, after the bike arrived, I should be glad to get a functioning saddle!
“I've just had a word with my mechanical team and on checking the bike before posting out, the Fiziik saddle was found to be damaged and they replaced it with the Specialized Toupe (which to be honest would fetch similar money to the Fiziik if they were resold). Apologies for this but better to have a saddle that functions as you would hope.“

This was an unfortunate situation that was spotted just prior to boxing the bike up for courier collection & not something that we do on a regular basis by any means.
Like any sale, if you were not happy with the bike that you received then you would be welcome to a full refund once the bike is returned (at our expense).

Second time using them now
Second time using them now, simple and quick! Once they check the bike over the money’s in the bank within minutes. Never tried to change the price or haggle over it. Obviously don’t send them pictures of the bike when it was new then turn up with a scratched battered bike and expect the same money, goes without saying really!

Excellent Service
Just purchased an Orbea Rise Mountain Bike. Found the buying experience so easy & genuine from start to finish. Saw the model & size I wanted on their website & phoned. Left a deposit to hold the bike (which is refundable if not purchased).
On viewing the bike, it was exactly as advertised. Paul & Darren answered all our questions & we made
the purchase. A big thank you to Darren who spent time matching my iPhone to the App for the bike.
